The meatball Sub had tiny meatballs & the waiter said " the meatballs are very big" my friend commented on the tiny meatballs and his reply was "oh we cut them in half.. "but I think there were two meatballs in an entire sub with a huge piece of bread. Also, he told us a side salad comes with the sub. He said you can get a garden salad or a Caesar salad and then we were charged an extra dollar for a Caesar salad.... I ordered a chicken Parm sub to go and the chicken Parm is not very good.

I went to Olazzo last night for take out and we ordered the mozzarella garlic bread, lasagna bolognese, and the crab and shrimp pasta. Everything was flavorful and it was ready quite quickly. The food was nice and hot when I picked it up. I was surprised how yummy everything was. We paid a little over $70 which I think is a bit much for Italian but it's on par for the area. I would definitely comeback.

Very good! Enjoyed the pasta, calamari, bread, and drinks. Service was great and were seated right away on a busy Saturday

Ordered takeout for lunch the other day and thoroughly enjoyed the Shrimp Pesto pasta. The dish exceeded expectations for takeout in all the right ways. The pesto sauce is homemade, was very tasty, and spot-on flavor-wise - it was the perfect level of saltiness and sauciness, and each bite was well thought out and consistent. The penne pasta was cooked perfectly al dente with just the right amount of firmness. The dish came with 5 decently sized shrimp, which were tender and well-integrated into the dish, complementing the pesto. Because there isn't a separate lunch menu, the portion comes as a full dinner size, I ended up saving half and having it later for dinner. Even after reheating, the pasta held its firm texture and did not become soft or mushy despite sitting in the pesto sauce for hours between lunch and dinner. Altogether, this takeout experience makes me want to dine in. I thoroughly enjoyed this meal from first bite to last.

After picking a teen up from camp at Imagination Stage, we walked here for dinner. We were told the wait would be about 20 minutes, but in less time than that we were seated. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken and it was excellent. The serving was enough for 2 meals, and the leftovers were just as good the next day. Great place!

Service was slow. Food was just ok. Drinks were fine. Portions were generous. May be a problem if you have kids because most of the seating is bar height.

Had a good lunch here. Nice pasta dishes. We were sitting outside in the sun on the sidewalk. Nice for people watching. We will come back for dinner.

All around, a solid italian restaurant in Bethesda, friendly staff and attentive. Pretty good location with plenty of parking nearby. The patio sitting can be a bit loud, so for the best atmosphere, I would go inside next time Overall the food was great, the ravioli was well made and perfectly cooked and the arancini was delicious. We also ordered the Chicken Cardinalle with the milanese, and the chicken was pretty dry and soggy, which was a shame. Pasta was cooked perfectly, though. All around, everything was tasty, and we will be coming back.

    Ravioli Rose with Sausage Links

This was a rustic looking spot with outdoor seating. The menu had mostly pasta options along with a few salads and one fish dish. The service was okay while the food came out very quickly. They start the meal off with some ciabatta bread. This was served with an oil and vinegar combination. The bread came out warm and the oil/vinegar combination was different, but pleasant. For an entrée, I went with the ravioli rose ($15) with two sausage links ($8). There were five or six large homemade raviolis with multiple cheeses present in a tomato-cream sauce. The ravioli was great as it was light with plenty of cheese filing. I believe it was definitely fresh just based on the texture. The sauce was simple and done right while the sausage was cooked to my liking with plenty of flavor. Will I go back? Definitely.

I had the Gnocchi Alla Genovese ($24.25). They were ricotta dumplings tossed in a pesto cream and toasted pignolis. I never saw gnocchi so small. They were very tiny and cooked nicely. The pesto cream was generous and appetizing while the toasted pignolis added a much-needed crunch factor. I also tried the drunken veal parmigiana and carbonara special which were both specials I believe. The veal was topped with vodka sauce with a side of pasta. This was solid. The vodka sauce was flavorful but could have been a little spicier. The veal was tender but there needed to be more seasoning present. The pasta was tasty too. The carbonara had shrimp that were cooked ideally and was just a well put together dish. Again, the pasta was cooked to my liking. Will I go back? I would.

From the moment we arrived, we felt like our celebration mattered to the people taking care of us. The food was incredible. We started with the Duck Hunt and Cesare salad, followed by the 40-Layer Lasagna, which absolutely deserves every bit of its reputation. Our cocktails, the Arancia Rossa Margarita and Negroni Fumo, were beautiful and delicious. We finished with the Gianduja S'Mores and Pesca Arrostita, and somehow each course just kept getting better. But as good as the food was, the people are what we'll remember most. Talya was incredible. She was attentive, warm, and genuinely kind, making us feel completely at ease from the moment we sat down until the very end of the night. She made wonderful recommendations, checked on us at all the right moments, and genuinely cared that we were enjoying our night. And then there was Robin, the Guest Relations Manager. She made us feel less like guests at a restaurant and more like people being welcomed into someone's home. She checked on us throughout the evening, celebrated with us, and made sure our night felt special from beginning to end. At the end of dinner, we were surprised with two complimentary chocolate cakes, one for our anniversary and one for my wife's birthday, along with cards celebrating each occasion. Those personal touches meant so much to us and were the perfect ending to an already beautiful night. When you're celebrating the person you love most, you hope the place you choose somehow rises to the occasion. L'Ardente did that and more. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was beautiful, but the hospitality is what will bring us back. Thank you, Talya, Robin, and the entire L'Ardente team. The shrimp (3 large) were good. The spinach had a nice garlic flavor and the asparagus was well prepared - not mushy. The chicken Marsala also was good. The Marsala was light (not thick) and somewhat sweet. Very good. Honestly, the bread service was pretty disappointing. Our last visit the bread was fine, but this basket was pretty dried out and almost seemed stale. The oil accompanying the bread had almost no cheese in it.
