I just do not GET the Crofton Ledo's. Columbia Ledo's? Gold standard. Crofton? Unreliable, unpredictable. And I'm SOOOOO tired of the "Look good?" as they show you your pizza. Don't ask ME, ask if the FOUNDER of Ledo's would allow the pizza to be served. I always ask for the same exact pizza...extra cheese, light sauce. If ANYTHING, this might yield a slightly undercooked pizza, not a dried out, overcooked, crusty pizza. SO disappointing. If I say "dude, that looks like crap", then I AM the Karen or Ken. Do better Crofton Ledo's!! So much for leftovers. I got the pizza straight out of the oven, into the box, and into my hands. Before I got to the traffic light on 3, the pizza was cold. So I love pizza, and I often bake my own pizza, homemade, but my sister wanted to come in to get pizza and wings for the house so I obliged. I've had Ledos a few times before and am honestly not a huge fan of the pizza I think the sauce can be a little bit overly sweet, and I like my pizzas with thick crust, which is not their thing. On this occasion, I ordered the buffalo wings and my sister got a 14 inch pizza with cheese and chicken. We ordered online about 20 minutes before getting there, and I still had to wait another 20 minutes or so for 12 wings and one pizza but I understand it was very busy hour so I didn't complain too much The pizza crust was pretty bland. I think they forgot to add salt to the dough. But the rest of it was pretty good, the buffalo wings were also pretty decent and you get a huge container of ranch. I would definitely return for the wings. read more

My wife and I got a take out pizza from the Crofton Ledo's last Sunday and were quite disapointed because the pie tasted more like a grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup. The provolone doesn't add anything, pizzas should have mozzarella and a marinara sauce, not a tasteless tomatoe soup-like sauce. There are several much better pizza places around Crofton, my advice is to patronize one of these in the future. read more

Ledo never cut's corners....well that was until recently. I have been going to this Ledo's for YEARS. I have even got to know some of the wait staff and went there because, call it cliche, it was like visiting family. My family and I have always tried new things off the menu, went on most PTA nights, made sure to order through the pandemic, just doing what I can to support Eddie's place. Some of the staff there watched my boys grow up and my boys loved bantering with the staff. I have noticed recently, not sure if it is new management or what, but slowly the regular staff that had been there for years slowly stated disappearing and their service, the friendliness, the warmth disappeared along with it. No don't get me wrong the food is ok, not great, but ok. I went there because of the staff as I can get a pie and wingies delivered from the handful of pizza joints around Crofton. It's the people who make the restaurant and the absence of quality people make this spot I wish to skip. Make Eddie's Place Great Again. Bring back the friendly, welcoming staff who made Ledo's like the television show 'Cheers.' Make it a place where I want to bring my family back. A place where I want to spend a few more hours in a booth catching up with staff, sharing stories and reminiscing about past visits while enjoying a pie, some wings, a salad with house dressing and extra tomatoes for my boys all to be washed down with some Oreo cookies. read more

Ledo pizza is truly like no other pizza out there. The crust is unique and flaky, the cheese is a little heavier than other cheeses on other pizza brands (which I like), And the toppings are generous. I love pepperoni, and they have this thick cut pepperoni that they use. So good. The sauce is a touch sweet for my taste, but still awesome! Highly recommend! For anyone reading this, it is ok to be in a funk during this pandemic. It is ok if you don't feel like being healthy and cooking at home. It is ok if you want to eat a whole 18" pizza and lay down Netflixing all night. Yes, talking to myself here. I ordered and paid right on the Ledo's website and got a note with pick-up time and instructions. They made sure to include a line about safety and maintaining social distance when picking up. Once there, plexiglass divides you and the cashier, with your order ready to-go since it was prepaid. As for the food, Ledo's has always been a hometown favorite. Who doesn't love square slices?! And that crust. This location provided the same great taste and quick and convenient service that I'm used to with the Ledo brand. There was even a $5 8" cheese special that we took advantage of. I stopped here on a whim Friday night now Ledo's would not generally be a place I would stop because I'm just not a big fan of pizza spots. I had the urge to try something different and their calzone was meh to me. Honestly I have gotten a better Calzone from Sbarros at a mall food court. Now I'm gonna tell you what blew me away!!! The chicken salad and I mean it is bomb! I have never heard anyone speak about Ledos salads but it was truly flavorful and mouthwatering. I'm not sure if a lot of people been here for a salad but it's a place that I definitely will return for all mine. Let me preface, I love Ledos...but some locations dont cut it. We tried this location, picking up on the way to a work event. I placed the order, my husband picked up. The order was ready on time, no wait, but most of the order was incorrect. I wish I had tons my hubby to double check. Our buffalo pizza was fine ingredients- wise but over cooked cheese, made it very hard. Then my sausage, peppers, and onions with half Hawaiian was half sausage and ham. No peppers, no pineapple. Maybe the meat toppings guy didn't pass it to the veggie guy. I was upset since I paid per topping..so I called about correcting the order or the bill..They said they'd send a gift card. A month later I checked in again, and they told me they've been too busy, give it time. My advice, slow down and take care of your customers, then orders wont be wrong read more

Wish I could leave 0 stars! Ordered online for 3:13p pickup. I arrive at 3:15p and am told my order will be ready shortly and it would be put on a shelf. I waited 30 minutes, seeing others come in and get their orders. When I ask the staff about my specific order, I'm handed a pizza that had been sitting to the side for at least 15 minutes! And my side order wasn't even started! So I had to wait longer. I was not even given an apology. The excuse I was given was the ticket didn't come out right. That's not the customer's fault! Obviously the cheese pizzas are always amazing. The Greek calzone (tzatziki sauce, gyro meat, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella) was good, I wish there was a little more meat inside but overall the crust was crunchy (it's like the pizza crust) and it was pretty large. My dad had the meat lovers and he ate his whole thing so I'm assuming it was good lol. Overall very good!! Stopped by here to pick up some pies a few weeks ago. I've never had Ledo Pizza before, and neither had my bf or my friend, so we were curious to as how the pizzas from here would be. We had placed an order ahead of time for spicy toasted ravioli, an Old Bay hot chicken pizza, a veggie pizza, and a hot honey pepperoni pizza to share amongst ourselves. The food took a little longer than what the time estimate for when it would be ready by, but we didn't mind terribly. The food was pretty decent - what you would expect from fast food pizza. I'm sure you'd get comparable experiences from any of their numerous locations throughout MD. Perhaps something to check out, if you're curious about MD-style pizzas. read more

But if you grew up on them you just use your review went to College Park University of Maryland he Lido pizza least once a week usually you were drunk and starving should I have one now 40 years later is pretty nostalgic and you can't help But you enjoy one. So if you haven't tried one you probably should get to me the sauce is sweet and I have no idea what kind a cheesy use on them but I could devour half of a pie. Okay, this Ledo's Pizza location has redeemed itself! After coming here various times during peak and non-peak hours they have managed to get my order right and my food has been delish! The pizza was made poorly with my toppings just thrown on top! It was almost as if they forgot what I wanted and threw it on after. This has never happened in the past. The cashier kept wiping her nose bit grabbing boxes of pizza and giving it ro customers. I was so disgusted that I just threw it out! I would never throw away food but it was not made for human consumption. I loat out on 20 dollars but I was not going to eat that pizza by no means. I will not be going back! It is unfortunate that two African Americans cannot sit down in a restaurant to be served in the order that they were seated. A white couple was seated simultaneously upon our arrival and a single white man was seated approximately 8 minutes after. Be very wary of their Rewards program. Rewards program is what drove me into Ledo (vs going somewhere else). Decided to eat in. Ordered. Later told the Rewards aren't good on eat-in orders. I frequent this Ledo's about 4-5 times a month. They were VERY good in the past couple of years but there has been a significant drop off in quality recently. Most of the pizza I've been getting now are either over cooked and at one point just the wrong order. The staff is really nice and a pleasure to work with and they do their best to correct these things but I'm deciding to move on. I hope that they get back to the quality they once had. Let me start by saying we love Ledos! We have been eating Ledos for about 28 years. We just recently moved to this area so we tried this location. It's still good BUT different. It's not as good as the other locations we've visited. If you know Ledos, they are known for their crust, Ledos Sauce and fresh toppings. All the boxes are checked here with the exception of the crust. It's just not the same but of course it's still good. Ledos will satisfy the pizza loving vegan and non-vegan alike, so that makes me extremely. For your next pizza night grab a pizza where they " never cut corners"... Bought pizza today and normally love this place but a tad bit upset. I called ahead and asked if there were any specials I was told no. So I proceeded to order one large cheese pizza. I get there and there are two specials in the window one family special at 29.99 and the other at 17.99. So I told the blonde cashier I called and was told no specials she said yes that was me and said oh yeah those you would have only saved 3.00. I just took my pizza and left but was frustrated as it could have been and up sell to the 29.99 family packet to feed us to tomorrow, or saving me 3.00 is a bonus this day in our current state. I love Ledo Pizza. I have truly have never been disappointed anytime that I have visited. I typically get a small pepperoni and mushroom, along with a Pepsi if I am by myself. (don't forget the brownie) When I'm with my sis and brother and law we split a large half cheese, half pepperoni and mushroom, small waffle fries, side salads with ranch, and drinks. Stopped by this location for a carry out order. The employee at the counter was very friendly and went out of her way to make sure that we had everything we needed. The pizza came out hot and fresh which was perfect. I recommend the barbecue chicken pizza it is absolutely delicious and not as greasy as the classic pepperoni, I could barely eat a full slice of it because of all the grease. read more

Popped in for a mid afternoon pizza and was totally surprised. I ordered a small pizza (should be 15 min tops), it took 1/2 hour. I should have guessed since it seemed that no one was in charge, and the blonde haired front desk girl was running into the kitchen every 2 minutes. Who was doing the cooking? The patron before me got a large pizza that was overcooked, (hint) and after apologizing to him, the blonde haired girl offered to cook another. He declined the offer (don't know why he would want to eat a overcooked pizza). My order finally came out, I went back to my truck to eat, and found out that the cheese was black in color, and the crust was as hard as cardboard. Way beyond overcooked. I took it back and told the young lady that it was not edible. I did not ask for a refund, she ordered to cook another, I did not have time to discuss or wait. They got a free $11 (pepsi included) from me today. Nice job Eddies/Ledo. If you go in and it seems that no one is in charge, don't buy any FOOD. There is a reason that the place was empty. After today's experience, I know that I will NEVER return to this location. It's a shame, because I have been a Ledo's patron for 50 years, beginning at the old College Park location. How could she offer me that pizza knowing that it was totally discussing? The Franchises have now lost my trust, and I will be looking for signs of mismanagement IF I patronize another. I have been a regular customer of Ledo's in Crofton MD for some years now. I typically stop there every Friday afternoon to pick up pizza and calzone. Recently I notice the quality of the pizza has changed. The crust is too thick and lacks the taste it used to have. I am wondering if there are new people working there that don't really know how to make a good pizza? But I have been most disappointed lately and am thinking of going somewhere else. I do not prefer a thick crust that is dried out. I hope someone from there sees this review and checks into the pizza quality. I will likely go to Anthony's Pizza in Bowie, MD or Dimeas Pizza in Crofton which have more of a NY style pizza for the area. read more

We are long-time Ledo pizza fans. This has to be the worst pizza we have ever gotten. Actually, the past several time has not been the best but being fans we still hung in there. I can not believe they allowed this to their customers. Now Ledo pizza is like a thin crust but this was half of that and only a little sauce on the edges. I have had Ledo's pizza in the past and was less than impressed. Recently tried the 14" cheese pizza. I had difficulty recognizing this as pizza - sorry... (Frozen pizza is much better, and I like a lot of different styles) The cheese was very yellow. I could not tell you what cheese this was. It appears the dough was rolled very flat and then heavily docked. Spiked holes all over the crust. I have friends that make special trips for this pizza because they think it's great.
