Beware of the young phone girl, she was downright lazy and irresponsible. I gave her my address, she repeated it and then wrote it down incorrectly. I gave her my two ingredient pizza order, she repeated it and then placed an incorrect order. She was also signed in as the manager because when I called back to complain to management, management's name was on my ticket. The driver had to call me twice, once to get my real address and then another time because he was unable to use my intercom system. It was very noisy mostly because parents (some) were more interested in drinking than correcting their kids who were banging and kicking the arcade machines. So much for ambiance. My family and I had dinner here last night, it was a good visit. You order everything you want at the front counter, so they do not have table service, but the girl that took our order was very friendly and did a great job explaining the menu and how to order what we wanted since we've never been here before. I like how comfortable the restaurant was and they had tv's going and some games to play to keep your kids busy. This place has been around for a long time as I have seen in other reviews and I see why, the pizza was very tasty and we also tried the garlic bread which was a bit dry but still tasty. Now I only had one problem with this restaurant which was the long wait we had for our food. I figured the garlic bread would've been out quick but I think they forgot to bring it out because we got it along with our pizza. Now I'm not sure if because it was a Saturday night but it took about 40 minutes till we finally got our stuff, wasn't to happy about that, but as I said might've just been because it was Saturday night. Well I think we finally have to find a new pizza place. The last several times the service has been very slow but the food was always fresh and hot upon pickup so we kept going back. Unfortunately, tonight sealed the deal. My husband placed an online order at 5:47 pm and our food was still not ready over 75 minutes later. When he got there all he was told was that it wasn't ready yet. After waiting for 20 minutes, he asked the staff what was going on and he was told that they were still waiting on one of the pizzas. The business manager on here likes to say that customers should bring things to their attention right away so that they can address the problem immediately. Yet when my husband, nicely, tried to talk to staff they were abrupt, rude, and made him feel like he was annoying them. He finally got home with the food 90 minutes after placing the order and 2/3rd of the food was cold. They must've not thrown the second pizza in until after my husband showed up for pickup. One of the pizzas and the mozzarella sticks were cold and the other one (that they most likely forgot) was hot. read more

Ledo's has been a local staple for excellent pizza for a very long time. When we are feeling like a Chicago thin crust pizza & movie night at home it's usually accompanied by a Ledos pizza or 2. I normally find that tavern cut places out too much sauce, it's too sweet and the sausage isn't great. Ledos is hands down the best sausage pizza locally. Made an order for pick up, it was ready at time stated. Pizza was fine. Chicken Wings have changed for the worse though. I ordered them plain and they came out extra dry and zero flavor. Ledo's is Countryside's finest establishment. From the moment I walked through the doors as a kid, I knew I was walking into heaven. Each visit, I devoured a cheese pizza just for me, and I also set the high score on every video game in the place (records never broken as of this writing). The pizza is iconic. Simple squares. Perfect with an ice cold beer. I don't live around here anymore but I hope the locals can band together and support this one-of-a-kind Chicagoland gem during the hard times, because Ledo's has always been there for us. Oy vey. Oy vey. I am at a total loss of words for how I really feel about Ledos. I have been coming here for an absolute amount of years as they are often known for hosting basketball and baseball teams(1994 Girls Falcons, anyone?). My heart leaps with nostalgia, but my palate begs to differ. My last visit entailed a family event because apparently we are are committed. We started with drinks, because why not? The Miller Lite pitchers were cold, as anticipated. I do hear the other craft draft beers were also decent, but I did not taste them. At any rate, salad bar. Bleh. This is usually my go to and I was sorely disappointed. No cucumbers, waterlogged iceberg lettuce, barely any cheese or egg, and croutons were a crummy mess. Yuck! I suppose I wouldn't care so much if I weren't only eating just that, but I was. Which leads me to the pizza... The pizza here stinks. Like straight up, stinks. This "half order of cheese" didn't taste like cheese. I'm unsure if they are using sausage in their sauce, but it didn't sit well. I also took apart a piece of the cheese pizza and bits of sausage came with it. Not cool for a vegetarian. Local staple. The local kids love it. Lots of youth sports teams will end up there. Good mix of people eat there. Pizza is thin crust. They serve beer and cocktails (the staff aren't pro bartenders, so don't challenge them or they have to rely on a cocktail book). Lots of a sides. Lots of other entrees besides pizza. They have soup as well as a salad bar. Place has been open forever. They fixed the place up a while back and still keep cranking it out for the LaGrange area. Solid place for pizza. My wife and I placed an online order. A few minutes later an employee called and said they are not going to deliver our food due to we put in three complaints in the last several years. The first complaint was we had black charred ribs delivered to our house. Another time we ordered lasagna there was barely any cheese on it. The third time we ordered a burger with a baked potato and the potato was raw I stuck it in the microwave for 10 minutes and it was still hard. Ledo's in countryside used to be really really good, however recently ordering from there oh my god they're fried chicken is not fried chicken it looked like it comes pre-packaged it's like leather!!.. I would not recommend the fried chicken to anybody. Ledos is actually set up to be pizza makers. The fried chicken and a lot of their fried foods are just heavily heavily breaded they're shrimp they're golf shrimp that they claim to be golf shrimp is so heavily breaded that if you pulled the shrimp out of the actual breading it's a baby shrimp. Will not order from them anymore, especially with the catering. I hope that they can find better management there or maybe new cooks I'm not sure what's going on but they've gone downhill and based on the reviews that I've read it's quite fantastic. read more

Been going to Ledos for 35 years. Tonight our party of 8 was told we could not be seated because 2 employees were taking their break at the only table for 8-10. We asked if they could be moved to a booth nearby, but just got a shrug. There were several parties waiting...one would think they would want to seat a larger group just to get us out of the way. I have been coming here for almost 30 years. It's my favorite pizza, family friendly, establishment. Placed an order over the phone tonight, got to the restaurant at 9pm. They are open until 10pm. Alyssa rudely told my father she shut down the taps already she would only open one of a single beer. She then announced the dinning room was closing at 9:30pm. As we were waiting for our food to dine in, because she told us over the phone that was okay... the continued to turn off the TVs, music, turn the lights super bright & started taking cleaning solution out around us. Yes, it was late. But the hours state they are open until 10pm. If she didn't want us to dine in she shouldn't have gave us the option when we called ahead to place our order.
