We have been eating Ledo's since the early 70's. Moved to GA years ago and Ledo's is always at the top of the list when we visit. We even had it shipped to GA recently and it did not disappoint. Their sausage is lean and flavorful, complex thin yeasty crust, zesty sauce, thick cheese, and the pizza is consistently the best tavern style thin crust in the Chicagoland area. Not fancy. But I knew that already. No table service. You order at the counter and 20 minutes later they call your number. You then get to go and pick up you pizza. Counter people were nice. Bar lady was very nice. The pizza was fine. Served piping hot, sliced nicely. Someone brought us a to go container when they noticed we were not going to finish our pie. I've only had their thin crust pizza here, but it was great. The thin crust was just a hair thicker than expected, so it was crispy without being soggy at all. The sauce is the star of the show, however. The toppings were well done and the appropriate amount. Overall, it was worth the 50 minute drive. The establishment has large rooms with many tables crammed in. Great fun for families and sports teams after a game. My opinion is that gambling machines add a certain amount of seediness to a place. Would of liked this place more if it didn't have the ambiance of Chuck E. Cheeses. That "Parenthood" scene where they go to a Chuck E. Cheese like place kept playing in my mind with the large amount of kids that kept running past my table. I also didn't like their "Fuddrucker's order style" where you'd go up to place your order, since they don't have waiters and would go to get your food when they'd call your number. Pizza actually wasn't that bad but, would of been better if they'd cut back on the grease a little. Sausage topping had a good flavor while the flavor of the rest of the pizza was a little on the mild side. Was surprised to see a decent tap selection with Sam Adams Noble Pils and Point Cascade Pale Ale, which both pair great with pizza and was only $4 a pint. I'm offering up three and a HALF stars because I think they could perfect the crispiness of their thin crust. But if you're a lover of a thin crust with a zesty sauce you'll like the taste of this pie. Our favorite pizza place, John's in La Grange on Ogden Avenue closed about a month ago and we've been scouting out new places. We like Aurelio's in downtown La Grange, $30 for a large sausage and pepperoni delivered, pretty darn good. But Ledo's offers a comparable thin crust for $20.95 (carry out), add $2.50 for delivery. It's a good thin crust pizza, but put your calorie counter away because yes, its a bit oily. It satisfies the craving for a real Italian tasting sausage and crust without the guilt of feeling that you've overspent just because you don't feel like cooking. Ledo's has the feeling of a neighborhood pizza parlor and it should since its been around since 1967. We've only done carryout so I can't attest to the noisy, kiddie atmosphere on a summer night. But I'd say it'd be a good idea to expect it since there are arcade games, a pool table and very reasonably priced pizza pie. This is a spot for a pizza and a beer at a great price. read more

Arrive to pick up, one pizza, no cheese pizza. Vegetarian will get nothing. Nothing else I can see on the menu for him that might be quick. And all I get about the Ledo's mistake is sass. Or, wait a half hour for the cheese pizza. No suggestions. Order taker gets manager, more sass. No gee we're sorry, we'll deliver one right away, or we'll quick half bake one you can finish at home, is that OK? Left with no help and no kindness or respect and only smartxxx attitude from Ledo's. So my experience with them now, don't expect your order to be right. Even if they recite it back to you. Been coming here since I was a small child. They are known for their pizza which is awesome, but I absolutely love their cheese ravioli with meat sauce. Its my go to every time. Food poisoning from their pizza. It was our first time eating from Ledo's and my girlfriend and I both got food poisoning. We didn't eat any other food from the same source for long enough before that it is highly unlikely to be from something else. Aside from getting sick from their pizza Tuesday night. She told me that when she arrived to pick up the pizza they weren't ready and the girl at the counter didn't know what was going on, and needed help from someone else. It sounded very disorganized. Alyssa.. Aka Angie is very, very RUDE! She refers to herself as a manager. Customer service skills on her behalf are lacking! A friend of mine and I ordered a family size ham and pineapple pizza. We have gone here regularly over the last year due to the salad bar and the casual atmosphere and my Dad being elderly at age 92. Out of many visits over the last six months we have had two absolutely horrible experiences. This time I decided to write about it. We ordered two pizza's and we confirmed the order three times as the lady at the order counter was confused. I actually place the order with one of my friends standing there so there was no confusing the order. When the number come up two other members of our party pick up the order and noticed that there were three pizza. She said something, but the lady confirmed it was our order so she took it to the table. After seeing that the order was terrible wrong with wrong toppings and to many pizza's. I immediately went back up to get a refund on the one pizza. Of course the supervisor wasn't there so it was going to take a while to get a refund so I asked if I could sit back down and eat. The lady behind the counter said yes and I gave her my credit card for the credit. After dinner she got the supervisor (Angie) and Angie stated that she cannot refund any money for the pizza since it was taken to the table. I told her I would bring it back so I went to the table and got what I could find out of the to-go boxes that the company was with already packing. I didn't get a whole pizza just about half or so of the pizza figuring it really did not matter. Well than, that really made Angie mad after see looked at the pizza in the box and told us we ate some. She stated she could definitely not refund us for the $10.00 pizza. Mind you we have spent $60 plus dollars every week there their for the past four months. When the Supervisor Angie got the manager the manager also brought the box I had given them and open it up again and said there was not a whole pizza in there. Well, that was when I went a little south on them. Mind you they got the order wrong, they also let us take the order when we knew it was wrong and they did not ask us to bring it back when I went up to tell them it was the wrong order. What else should I have assumed other than we get a measly $10.99 back. Really wasn't worth the effort, yet deserved I sometimes like to see how they react in order to know I am going to a place that stands behind they food and their service. They reacted wrong and the manager even told us he would lose money if he gave us a refund. Unbelievable! I ordered a pizza to be delivered. It was an EXCELLENT pizza. One star off though for the "no contact delivery" offered. I left a note with my order to leave the pizza on the (covered) porch which has a table and a cooler out for deliveries. I had just got out of ICU and did NOT want contact with anyone but the delivery person knocked and knocked until I personally came to the door to get the pizza. That's NOT "no contact". read more
