It had gotten heavily soiled and it would not have been able to fit into a regular sized washer. Thank goodness for this place because they do *full service* washing/ drying/ folding. They can clean your garments, blankets and anything else for you. All you need to do is drop off. Our King sized comforter was $26 to clean and the process was so simple. I walked in and went straight to the back to talk to the workers who said they could have it ready for me in 24 hours. Sure, it may have been pricey to do this but for the convenience and someone else taking care of it for you-- why not. As promised, I received a text the next day to come pick up. I came in and the comforter was bagged up, ready for use again. When I opened up the bag and saw that the comforter was pristine, I was impressed. Highly recommend this spot if you want to do full service. Definitely coming back if my washer/ dryer (fingers crossed they don't) break down and I need a place to come do laundry. Just enough space for everyone with some polite excuse me requests :) When I get disgusted with my apartment laundry rooms (yeah, plural) I just come here and get it done. What I love and why it gets an extra star is bc you can actually open their dryer lint traps and clean it out to get the most out of your quarter (just find a used bounce floating around) and beyond that bc not everyone cares about that is they have EXTRA large sized dryers ANd washing machines for king size comforters. You get less time for your money, but I think (and I hope this doesn't catch on to the masses bc I don't want to suddenly have to wait for them, but) they dry better! The owners stroll around to keep an eye on things and will even sometimes make small talk which can be nice at times. Definitely makes me feel safe if it's late at night, an added bonus since most laundrymats aren't manned w staff, but I guess bc they're a water store too, it works! I used a big washer ($8.25 per wash) my towels were soaking wet so I put it to wash a second time. $16.50 just to wash. After second wash my towels were dripping water again. I told the guy who works there that their washer isn't working and asked him for a refund ($16.50) he goes and calls the owner she said to put it on a different washer which I did, but separated into two smaller washers and they only paid for one ($6.25) I told him there was two he said "no, only one" he refused to pay for the other washer so I had to pay $6.25 more. I ended up paying $22.75 just to wash unbelievable!!!
