Great Covid procedures here and I felt safe coming. You have to call them from the parking lot and they tell you whether it's safe to come. You can make an appointment or walk in. When you walk in they take your temperature and direct you to a sink to wash your hands with soap and water. I got a pedicure and manicure and both stations I was behind plexiglass and was far from the person doing my nails. They do not seat you next to anyone directly. When I was getting my toes and hands done, there was an empty seat on either side of me and they made sure to do it that way on purpose. There is a VIP room that looks amazing but it costs extra. They give you a color pallet to choose from instead of having you pick up a color off the wall. read more

I am not from Woodstoc/Ellicott City I was just in town for work and really wanted a fill in. I asked for a more tapered shape and french. I had a nice lady at first who did great on the shape. But then the nice lady handed me over so someone else who did the actual fill and French. She ruined the entire set. Every nail was a different shape and length. The French looked like a 3rd grader did it, uneven everywhere. The worst part? The mean lady who kept shoving my hand away as a signal to put them in the dryer...got $67 out of me! Nearly $70 for a fill in and French and I had to go down the street to another salon and pay another $40 to have the monstrosity corrected. Did I mention Lees took 2 hours? Yeah. read more

I have been going to Lee Nails for twenty years. I have tried other places but I always come back. Very good service. My mom loved it there. She was a hard lady to please and when she moved to the area she did not think any place was better than the nail salon she had been going to. She was wrong! She would go every two weeks. I am writing this with my husband Patrick's account because I never set one up so this is Emily . I've been coming to Lee's nails since it opened and my daughter now goes as well. I've never had an experience that was not wonderful. Trish always goes above and beyond for all the customers that come in and she always remembers who you are. This last month has been a hard one for my family and I decided to make a last minute appointment with my daughter to try And relax And feel better before our trip. . It was already a full day for them and somehow they made time for both of us and made it a wonderful experience. My nails were done horribly. What I asked for was not what I got. I stopped the woman after the 2nd finger but she assured me it would look nice. Got my nails done the day before Valentine's day. Walk-ins welcome! I got a gel manicure because they dry quickly. They have a wheels of painted gel colors to choose from and I opted for a natural shimmery nude pink. It turned out beautiful and I was in and out in less than 40 minutes! I love it. I have been to almost every nail technician there and they are all so wonderful. I never feel rushed or pressured to get something I didn't come for. Well, the nail technician I had filed my skin off on my pinky nail. She was on her phone the whole time talking to someone in another language, which I thought was rude. None of the other nail technicians had ever gotten on their phones, or were disrespectful in anyway. It really hurt when she had the nail file near my skin. My acrylic nails lifted which had not happened before, they started coming off after a month. Normally they last a lot longer. For 125.00 I deserve a refund for these two services. Otherwise this is a clean place, just don't choose the younger woman as your nail technician. The unprofessionalism of this service was awful. read more

I've been a customer for 3 years. As of recently the service has really decline. My last encounter was with Amy. Amy is really unprofessional and confrontational. I let her know that after walking out of the salon my gel paint nails chipped. She wasn't willing to put a extra coat to ensure that her work would last. She took my money without offering me the best quality of service. I will not be returning based upon my last encounter. read more

Pedicure was okay, but my toe nails were cut crooked/slanted. Dip manicure was too thick and I asked for it to be thin from the start. She also cut two of my cuticles when using the rotating filer and burned the back of my hand with the hot towel. My sister and I got the same services but the girl who checked me out only let me use a $2 coupon. However, the girl who checked out my sister let her use $6 worth of coupons. Lucy is the best nail tech, I actually started going to Lee's specifically because Lucy recently moved to this salon. She is wonderful and is great with all different services, gel dip, pedicures, etc. I've been going to Lucy for years when she was at her previous salon but I'm glad she is at Lee's now. The salon itself is really nice and comfortable, they have tons of colors and polish brands to choose from. Very calm and relaxing. Oh my, what an experience. First off, I've seen jeopardy categories about 16th century literature that are easier than figuring out what this color selection process looks. Then...it's our fault that we selected a signature experience and were given elite experience but they wanted to give us the standard experience and after that experience we were supposed to elect the presidential experience (I think that's more like the Barack Obama experience than the Bill Clinton experience...that's the spa down the street). You confused yet? Yeah me too, I was waiting on Ashton Kutcher to come out with a camera crew. Unreal. It was my fault they didn't know the Harvard bioengineering curriculum of nail color selection.
