The atmosphere behind the counter and the general attitude seems to have improved now that Troy has returned to the store. Although there was nothing inherently wrong with the service, food or speed over the last 3 months, i noticed associates seemed almost unhappy. There just wasn't the same camaraderie amoung the employees. While i don't run a resteraunt, i do run a business. Finding people that show up for every shift and work hard is difficult. When you find someone who encourages others, anticipates needs and does so with a smile, its important to promote those individuals and reward them through their enployee package and wage. Had lunch today at Leeann Chin in Saint Louis Park Mn. Ordered the Chicken Curry, which I have been ordering for a long time until about a year ago. They started to reduce the curry sauce, I have brought this up to the store on many occasions but eventually I stopped ordering it. With out the sauce it is way too dry. I was so excited to see the return of oyster wings. They tasted just like I remembered only thing is it's not set up yet for the combos so when I first tried to order online wouldn't work. Everything else was great tho! I went inside to order and it was a nice quiet time of day no lines and I could see in the back a pile of green beans that were getting sorted. Went here two days before Christmas with my mom who has limited mobility. We were able to get a seat easily. They made the food fresh for my mom and it was hot when she got it. The quality of all the food we ordered was excellent and the temperature of the food was hot which was great. The staff was cleaning while we were eating and the restaurant was super clean. Alliya, Gilbert, and Diego deserve a raise because that was the best fast food I've had all year. 10/10 read more

The staff is really friendly as well and I usually don't have any issues with the food (beef and broccoli is always great) - only complaint is one time the chicken in my boyfriend's meal wasn't cooked properly... just tasted kind of funny. We love Leean Chin. We eat at any one of them that is in the area we happen to be in. That said, we stopped at the one on Cliff Rd., in Eagan MN. I ordered my usual, bourbon chicken, brown rice, garlic green beans. VERY stingy portions. I asked if they had GF soy sause, and they said oh yes. We paid for our meals, and went to find a table, all of which were dirty, and less than 6 were in use. We found a table we could wipe ourselves, and went back to get our silverware, napkins, soy sauce etc. No GF soy sause. I found my chicken terrible. Fatty. I couldn't chew some of it, and the rest was made up of small pieces connected by fat. Disgusting. That never happened before. My husbands food was fine, but he had something different. When using the men's restroom, my husband came out and pulled multiple napkins because there were no towels in the bathroom. So, does the staff wash there hands?? The staff wasn't particularly friendly, but not mean. No greeting, no smiles. This was a very unpleasant experience. I would recommend to all you Leean Chin fans, to go to any other location...NOT Eagan! read more

I am downgrading my review from earlier. It seems to me that Leeann Chin's has went down in quality in the past 15 years. In talking with others, it seems to be that this fine establishment has been handed off to a new generation, and somewhere in that time, it has lost its quality. Leeann reminds me of Panda Express back in California except a tad bit better. This is probably the only fast food Chinese food I would go to in the cities. the bourbon chicken tastes pretty fresh and their prices are decent. The orange chicken tastes like most places but I think their fortune cookies are better! I had their dumplings and i'll give it about a 2 out of 5- 5 being the highest. I would have given them four stars if they served egg or hot and sour soup.... but at least they have yogurt. yup, they sell yogurt similar to pink berry, just not the pink berry setting... they do have fresh berries and toppings but i'm still a yogurtland fanatic... customer service is alright. read more

Free tastes provided too, so have a couple choices before you decide. They even have 'ice cream' (its yogurt) with a choice of toppings. Very friendly service keeps me coming back to this particular location, located in Knollwood Mall (and possibly the close proximity to many stores, such as DSW, but mostly for the service). Sign up for their frequent diner club simply by entering your phone number into the kiosk by the register. It keeps track of your dines without any cumbersome cards to scan or accounts to look up. I try to get entrees low in sugar and the shrimp entree I choose was very light on sugar but also light on shrimp! My husband's very sugary chicken dish had chicken a plenty so maybe it was just a chicken vs seafood thing, cost. Also the serving of veg is very small, but large servings of noodles and rice. The food here is pretty decent for being fast food. Piece of advice #1: get the kid's meal. The best bang for your buck as you get rice (fried or white) or noodles, an entree, and appetizer for roughly $5 with tax. Pretty darn good for a quick lunch. Piece of advice #2: if you like fried spring rolls, try theirs. They aren't too bad. They are evenly fried and catch the rest of your meal drippings well. The west end SLP location is always fresh. This is tje only one near my house so irritates me that i rarely can eat here. With work you can eat heathy, but very limited selection. From the fried rice to the fried entrees it seems most things here are fried and then covered in sweet sauce. The sweet sauces are tasty. I gave them 3 stars because I know this is what sells as Chinese fast food done Minnesota style. You know what you are getting when you eat here.
