Went in there during a trip to a doctors appointment. The last time I will shop this location. The cashier had no customer service training at all!!! Wow, do I miss this place? When I lived in LV, Lee's was the Go-To spot for alcohol. They have a great selection and great prices and you could usually find what you need. We stopped in to browse and they had a LOT of stuff that I can't get in Orlando. I wish I had more room in my suitcase. I ended up with a bottle of wine we had planned on drinking in the room, but we never did so I packed it and brought it home. Pros- great selection, decent prices Cons- like a warehouse, employees not helpful Went in today to look around and ended up grabbing a few things, went to the register and asked about joining the loyalty club. Said system was slow and I'd have to come back tomorrow. Asked to try so we did, and sure enough, wouldn't go through. I asked if I could use receipt to get points for today's transaction if I came in tomorrow, said no, have to call corporate to see if they'll add the points. Ugh, too much work. read more

In Vegas for a softball tournament and wanted some local beer to take home. This place was about 15 minutes from Majestic Park where we were playing so gave it a go. It was a lot larger than I anticipate with a huge wine and hard liquor section. The beer section was on the smaller side in comparison to the rest of the store. They had the usual beer suspects there but was looking for tall can singles to take home and share. They had one refrigerator section of tall can singles, but they were mostly from everywhere but Vegas. The refrigerator next to it had 4 and 6 packs of the local breweries so I was able to grab a good selection to take back. Staff were helpful in pointing out the popular beer and went in the back to get one for me that was missing on the shelf. I wish they had singles of the local beers, but settled for the packs. It is located next to a busy strip mall area that was packed, but thankfully this place has its own parking lot, so no worries on parking. read more

Dopey idiots! Girl put me on hold for 25 min - called back, guy that answered 'Dean' said that he was the manager, (not so sure, he could've been jus' a co-worker backing her up!) His name isn't mentioned in any reviews. At any rate - after a waste of time, turns out she never even took down correct info to look into!! I like Lee's Liquor, they have a great selection and decent prices on most everything. Unfortunately this location has some of the worst customer service of other the locations locally. The cashiers are rude and don't respond if you say hello how's your day etc. One of the cashiers that always seems to be working when I stop in for a purchase, gives me the impression she hates the world and everyone in it. I post this as warning to potential customers. I go to Walgreens down the street and pay a little more nowadays. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. So I went there Saturday and bought some liquor. The cashier said that my transaction didn't go through because the receipt didn't print but yet he said that he saw my card charged. He went to confirm with the manager, and the manager said that even though it was posted on my account twice the charge is still pending until it gets posted in a couple days and one of the charges would go away. He told me to come back to if it finally posts on my account and I'm still double charged. I came back today and spoke to the same manager and he said he couldn't give me a refund because of company's policy and that he didn't know about the new policy. This is ridiculous. Train your workers. Never coming back here again read more

I may have had a poor experience in the past with a product I didn't like and they refused a return but wanted to update my review after spending time getting to know the staff at this and other Lee's stores, meeting one of the vice presidents and getting to meet the late Mr. Lee on two occasions. Everyone who I've interacted with at this business came off as genuinely nice and appreciative of their patrons and it's only fair to give them a five-star review. Their return policy isn't the greatest but that shouldn't hinder anyone from shopping at a place where the workers are genuinely happy. Not really thrilled with Lee's as it compares to Khoury's or even Total Wine. It's really hard to get someone to help you here. Plus, once you do find someone, they just don't have the level of knowledge that the folks at Khoury's have. Or even the Total Wine folks. Still, it's a good place to pick up some booze. They have a wide variety and some unique party items, plastic glassware, etc., that you can't find at the smaller liquor stores. This location occasionally hosts cool events, such as liquor tastings in the parking lot. Plus Roamin Dough recently took up residence in the parking lot. This place is alright. I would've thought they'd get on the ball as far and lowering prices and upping selection ever since a BIG BAD RIVAL moved into Summerlin. I guess Mr. Lee isn't afraid of anything other than classy advertising (don't tell me you haven't seen those billboards; "I'd tap that... keg"). But they did expand their hours and do carry a good selection of booze. The prices are good. It's just not AS good as Total Wine. Sorry, I had to say it. I know that I'm supposed to Think Global and Drink Local, or whatever, and I do like to frequent the mom-n-pop shops that are still in business. And I know that Lee's is as local and native as it gets around here. But that is no excuse not to be competitive. I know they can do something about it. Without the availability of Total Wine right down the road I would've raved about Lee's. and maybe I should. I've been shopping here since I was FIFTEEN! This location is so clean and the people are so friendly. I went on a Friday afternoon and there were several vodka sampling tables. Not only did sampling vodka help me make the decision of what I wanted to buy but it also donated to a charity with that brand of vodka. The staff was nice and helped me find what I was looking for and I even got a free can of hard Seltzer with my purchase. I will drive across town for this location. read more

Great selection and cheap pricing. What more could you want? Last week I ordered a bottle of champagne at a resteraunt in hollywood and paid $72 dollars for it and bought it here for $16. Lol. So what did I do? I bought two bottles to take to a friends bonfire, lol yes bonfire, and drank both of them got wasted and felt fancy AF. Thank you Lee's liquor for helping me have a great time and drink my sorrows away about paying for overpriced alcohol. Ps. I've shopped at Lee's stores around the valley for over two decades. I can typically find what I'm looking for every shopping experience. If I cannot find what I'm looking for I ask and either an employee can find it for me, or they check their inventory [on a computer] and provide the status of that item (ex. not available, currently available at a different Lee's location). Recently I shopped at this location; attempting to find a specific wine. This Lee's is the closest to my house. I asked and an employee looked it up and told me that it was available at two other locations; not at this one. Before leaving I did purchase a couple of items at this location; one item being a recommendation from an employee who was assisting me. The staff I interacted with were courteous and somewhat helpful. I found out later though that they could have offered to order the wine [that I was looking for], and upon check out I was not asked if I was a "rewards club member" nor was I aware such a membership existed. A couple of days later I went to the location that was closest to my house [out of the two that supposedly stocked the wine] only to be informed they did not have it in stock either (Boca Park location). An employee again searched their database and I was told it was available at only one location in the city. The employee was courteous. The employee at the West Lake Mead location had stated the wine was available at two locations. So, I'm attributing this error to the inventory system. The wine I was in searching for was at the Las Vegas Blvd. location which is half an hour drive from my house. I was not thrilled about the drive but a few days later I trekked out to the Las Vegas Blvd S location and was pleased that they did in fact have the wine I wanted. During check out I was talking with the cashier and she informed me that they/Lee's can order wine for me. I told her that I wasn't aware of that and that the employees at the other two locations never offered to do that for me. I'm glad she informed me of that service, but was annoyed that the employees at the other two locations never mentioned they could order the wine for me. During the checkout process she asked if I was a Lee's Rewards Club member. I never knew there was a rewards club available. I told her I've never been asked before nor have been made aware that one existed. She signed me up. I had a very nice experience at this Lee's location and the employee (I cannot remember her name unfortunately) was extremely helpful. I gave the Las Vegas Boulevard location a five star review. Now that I know, the next time I go to the Lee's liquor location closest to my house I will request they order the wine I was searching for so I don't need to travel across the city. I would give five stars to the other two locations IF the employees at the other two locations would have made me aware that I could have had them place a 'special order' for the wine I was looking for as well as made me aware of the rewards club upon check out (I had purchased other items at the first location). Even though the rewards club and the service of ordering the wine I was looking for was never mentioned at the first two locations, the employees were courteous. read more

Yo BevMo!!! Move over because you've been out Bev'd and out Mo'd! Moving to Vegas disappointed me when I first learned that there wasn't a BevMo in sight. Until.....we discovered Lee's Discount Liquor! Sorry BevMo but you've become too hoity toity for me. We're in a recession and we'll take discounted wine anywhere. It really is as good as it gets here. I was going to give them 4 stars because of their cheesy advertising (but even that became a bit charming in some way) however, ever since Mr. Lee and company threw that oh-so-fabulous Wine Experience event at the Hilton here in Vegas this past weekend....well, they deserve all the stars Yelp has to offer! For all you out of towners, this event is a MUST ATTEND. I don't care where you are in America, come to Lee's Annual Wine Experience. I suggest planning an entire Vegas visit just for this event alone! Ok, back to the actual store....aisles and aisles of wine galore. Dare I say it? Yes, MORE than BevMo. Even some of the hardest to find, Lee's has it. And what's great about this place is that you don't feel so lost browsing through their selection. Lee's definitely fills the niche that Beverages & More (or BevMo as they call it now, I think) filled when I lived in San Diego. Huge liquor store with a great selection. I went here when I was looking for a six pack of Abita Purple Haze (only $6.99!) and some lambic beer ($8.99 for a decent sized bottle). They carry pretty much every hard liquor on the market. Now if only they could figure out a way to get Yingling, I'd be set! read more

I like Lee's in general, but this one is nicely spaced out and organized. Good selection on everything....wines particularly impressive though but thats fairly easy on distribution so no reason not to...I'm giving wine a backburner currently to craft beers. Beer selection of crafts and imports are decent..wish they had more, but it's impossible to get more than this and maybe a handful of other beers...most people dont get how the distribution system works and it's a hard thing to get craft beers here from the farther regions of US distributed this far out...very unfair but anyways I'll try not to get into politics.... They at least have all the basic favorites and some limited/seasonal brews, but havent spotted anything of particular rarity. Good single/big bottle selections too. Service- most people indifferent but theres a few people who chime in and get excited about our purchases and talk craft beer. One girl in particular liked that we get Dogfish Head and was telling us about her favorite one and how was gonna buy a bottle today and she can't wait to crack it open later on. People have been helpful at this location when were looking for something particular. Total Wine&More just opened....curious how it stacks up. TW&M has a few beers that Lee's does not carry that I cant wait to get my hands on. read more

Seems silly to say that I have a favorite Lees, but this is my favorite so far out of the 5 I have visited so far. It seems to be larger, cleaner, and the staff was very friendly and polite. I do enjoy Total Wine, and when it comes to beer, I would most likely go there first. However, when it comes to liquor, Lees I am yours! Quite often they will have tasting events for beer, liquor and wine and generally the turnout is good and the tastings are fun. This is the best Lees. The Good: One of the most amazingly huge liquor stores you've ever seen. Regular vendors coming in to dish out samples at the bar and also high end liquour tastings with exposition for free. Also the employees aren't unpleasant. The Pseudo-Bad: This place has the best customer service of a Lees. This is kind of like having a really mild case of hepatitis or recieving a "light beating" from one of the local gangs. Also for whatever reason they have no qualms about giving you a flimsy plastic bag for 40 pounds of liquor bottles despite boxes stacked nearby. read more

Lee's is a great place to buy wine/liquor/beer for good prices! It may not be the cheapest in town, but almost always cheaper than the grocery stores and other small spots around the city. This particular store has a great selection, but when they didn't have a specific Cognac I was looking for, they said they would order it and hold onto it for me! Sure enough, I get a phone call saying my order was in, and they held it for a few days till I could arrive. Great customer service! I've also used the reward points often...for champagne flutes, shakers, etc. They have lots of cool stuff they offer inside their loyalty emails, so keep an eye out for them! read more

I'm pretty much only going to review their beer selection because that is all that concerns me. Lee's has a decent selection. It's the best I have seen so far here in Las Vegas. I have seen stores with better selections in places like Chicago, but if you are a beer connoisseur then this might be the best you can find in the area. Also, they provide a discount if you pay with cash (debit cards count as cash as well), so you can get some pretty good deals. There is a Lee's closer to where I live, but this one is close to work so I occasionally just pick something up on the way home. And no I'm not an alcoholic, I just enjoy fine beers. read more
