I Sam's for my regular size bottles of alcohol and sales on my seltzers. I was next door @ Kona Grill for HH & when I walked out & saw Lee's it reminded me I needed to pick up some Frangelico to make Nuts & Berries with. Not that night but @ a later time as I had no milk @ my house. I already had the chambord @ home. This wasn't my first time in this location. I don't live on this side of town anymore. Staff was friendly when checking me out. I had to ask where to find the Frangelico & the girl didn't know what it was. I told her I believed it was considered a liqueur. It was a nut flavor. She brought me over to where the liqueurs were & I found it. I headed to the check out counter after and once I saw all the nips I had asked the guy if he had any McGillicuddys butterscotch, a sleeve of 10 and he didn't have 10. The girl suggested there may be more out back but the guy said no, what they had there was what they had. I bought all that they had & told him that they need to carry the regular size bottle of the Butterscotch. I tell every Lee's I go into this and I wish one of these days they'd start carrying it!!! They carry other flavors in the regular size bottle. This flavor is sooooo good. Drink it chilled, tastes just like a butterscotch candy. I do them as a shot...sooooooo smooth & yummy! read more

Customer Service - Manager This Lee's is a place I have frequently visit for years. I have never had any issues everyone for the most part has been pleasant, we joke, I buy, I leave. I go in they have a tasting I thought I left my I'd in the car I didn't get the taste test (which I understood was not a big deal I know I would have to have my ID for alcohol) so we go to look at the alcohol, no purchases were made we were not at the counter and the guy walks up and says "which one of you don't have your id" I say no I have an id but it's in the car before I can even say i was gonna go get it anyway because I planned on purchasing and I know I would need my id and then he says "if you don't have your id then you can't be in here." and then I'm like "why are you being rude about it and I ask are you trying to be rude" because I was thrown way off by his approach and he says "if I wanted to be rude I wouldn't let either of you purchase alcohol" (because I was there with someone) then I say again I do have an id it's in the car (which I was going to go get) then he's says "then go get it!!".. after that I just walk out. The issue is not that you wanted me to have my id but this man was ABSOLUTELY WAS MY CASHIER MULTIPLE TIMES AND HAS ABSOLUTELY CHECKED ME OUT WITH AND WITHOUT MY ID MANY TIMES!! and you approach me as if I was causing a problem and as if you absolutely never seen me in the store before and didn't approach anyone else he should of been asking at the door for every single persons id why single a frequent customer that has never caused a problem. Very uncomfortable and off putting and just rude and very unnecessary. And it sucks because most interactions have been cool. Why approach me and nobody else in the store you need to be asking everyone at the door before they even come in the store if that's the case. while I am looking around and not even at the register purchasing and by then I would have had my id anyway because I knew I would need it to make the purchase. I love this Lees. I used to be a total wine person. But poor attitudes and inability to know what's in stock has led me to Lees. First off, they carry both Chilean Pisco and Peruvian Pisco where total wine only wants to carry Peruvian -yes there is a big difference- Chilean is aged in oak and Peruvian is aged in stainless steel. Secondly they carry jalapeño pepper beers- my favorite is Great Basin Chile Beso. I was informed by the management at total wine that "spicy beer is not a thing in Las Vegas". So 5 stars for service at Lees. They also told me if there's ever anything I need they will order it. read more

So yesterday, I was out with my partner to celebrate us. The lot near Kona Grill was full so we parked a bit away in the nearest handicapped parking space. It was 7pm on a Saturday night and not a major holiday. In fact, we were the only car in the lot of maybe 30 spaces. I walked, he limped and we had an enjoyable dinner. Until, that is we approached our vehicle. Some greasy kid with long blonde hair comes out and my man and i looked at each other like, are we about to get robbed? But instead this sh*tstain of a human says I was about to put this sticker on your car and have it towed. My response is, how fortuitous for you, that you didn't do that. He goes on to rudely tell us we are on private property, and points to poorly placed private parking signs. I inform him that we were the only car in the lot and hardly stopping their business, but no worries we would be NEVER shopping at Lee's again. The guy was nasty rude, and greasy looking. I went for the Penny Sale on the first day (April 1) and was disappointed to see a No Public Restrooms sign on the front door. Bad news! I limited my purchase because of this. Hey Mr. Lee, Total Wine not only has public restrooms but has signage to help the public find them. That should go on a billboard. Back to the Penny Sale....huge list of buy one, get one for a penny items. It's mostly wine, no beer & teeny, tiny selection of liquor. Sale runs all of April. I checked the list online prior to shopping (and lucky for me didn't need a restroom break at the store!). Signs are posted on the sale products but they didn't have a list in the store. I purchased 2 bottles of gin & they had a $10 mail in rebate tag on purchase of 1 bottle, so double dipping on that! Also got 2 bottles of rose. Total was $42 with tax so with $10 rebate it's a good deal. The variety of wine for the sale is vast. Just make sure to take care of business before hitting the Penny Sale! read more

These people are ridiculously unreasonable in their approach. They are so rude and nasty. It's just buying booze which is very simple and easy. You would think at least. I don't know why. Really hard to understand why they have to create animosity with the customers who came to shop their product for a good cause. They are really damaging the reputation of a great business. Mr Lee and his crew need to send in secret shopper to this location often. It was simply a disgusting experience. What should have been an enjoyable Christmas shopping turned into an irritation I have not felt in months. Lee's is a Vegas Staple. It's pretty well known when you need to go to a package store , as Mom calls them, you go to Lee's. The selection is bar none, the service is friendly and knowledgeable, not just about their store but about Booze in general. The best part, in my opinion is that the prices are what keep me stopping in- occasionally- when the few times a year I would like an adult beverage. Highest ratings! read more

This is not COVId Related. When both Mr Lee's died who ever is in charge now is disrespectful to them. They used to price match and now they don't. I show up an hour before they supposed to close the lights already off. They just recently let go of incredible staff that should've stayed but hindsight to Management didn't. I've shopped at Lee's stores around the valley for over two decades. I can typically find what I'm looking for every shopping experience. If I cannot find what I'm looking for I ask and either an employee can find it for me, or they check their inventory [on a computer] and provide the status of that item (ex. not available, currently available at a different Lee's location). Recently I shopped at this location; attempting to find a specific wine. This Lee's is the closest to my house. I asked and an employee looked it up and told me that it was available at two other locations; not at this one. Before leaving I did purchase a couple of items at this location; one item being a recommendation from an employee who was assisting me. The staff I interacted with were courteous and somewhat helpful. I found out later though that they could have offered to order the wine [that I was looking for], and upon check out I was not asked if I was a "rewards club member" nor was I aware such a membership existed. A couple of days later I went to the location that was closest to my house [out of the two that supposedly stocked the wine] only to be informed they did not have it in stock either (Boca Park location). An employee again searched their database and I was told it was available at only one location in the city. The employee was courteous. The employee at the West Lake Mead location had stated the wine was available at two locations. So, I'm attributing this error to the inventory system. The wine I was in searching for was at the Las Vegas Blvd. location which is half an hour drive from my house. I was not thrilled about the drive but a few days later I trekked out to the Las Vegas Blvd S location and was pleased that they did in fact have the wine I wanted. During check out I was talking with the cashier and she informed me that they/Lee's can order wine for me. I told her that I wasn't aware of that and that the employees at the other two locations never offered to do that for me. I'm glad she informed me of that service, but was annoyed that the employees at the other two locations never mentioned they could order the wine for me. During the checkout process she asked if I was a Lee's Rewards Club member. I never knew there was a rewards club available. I told her I've never been asked before nor have been made aware that one existed. She signed me up. I had a very nice experience at this Lee's location and the employee (I cannot remember her name unfortunately) was extremely helpful. I gave the Las Vegas Boulevard location a five star review. Now that I know, the next time I go to the Lee's liquor location closest to my house I will request they order the wine I was searching for so I don't need to travel across the city. I would give five stars to the other two locations IF the employees at the other two locations would have made me aware that I could have had them place a 'special order' for the wine I was looking for as well as made me aware of the rewards club upon check out (I had purchased other items at the first location). I am not going to win any awards for my knowledge of buying booze. In fact, I probably haven't even entered a liquor store in close to a year, maybe longer? I guess my dislike for grocery shopping spills over into the beverage arena as well. We stopped in to grab a nice scotch whisky for a gathering. The store was basically empty except for the employees. It was clean and orderly and had the feeling of your average liquor store but with an emphasis on wine selection. We were trying to decide whether a blended or single malt was preferable, and the staff didn't seem to be incredibly knowledgeable on this issue. However, we did get some help and a recommendation. When checking out, we were offered a couple of free rocks glasses, which was a bonus. Overall, a rather uneventful trip to a liquor store, and we left with swag. Success. read more

I really like Lee's and being so close to another big liquor store it has to be tough to compete but they do. Although smaller and maybe not as "ritzy" I think the Lee's staff has the 'other guy' beat hands down on knowledge of staff and willingness to help. I've gone in looking for a specific wine and vintage and instead of just we don't have it the answer was "let's see if we can find it" and I had a very interesting conversation with the sales rep who made another recommendation that was great. .... and this is pretty typical of every visit. if they don't have it but it can be found, they will get it! read more

I get it- they are competing with Total Wine and felt the need to literally compete by building a spot in the same shopping center. It's neater and nicer looking that most Lee's I've been to. In general, I can find a few beers here that sometimes isn't carried or out of stock at Total Wine. I'll always browse various stores to round out the collection of beers. However, the recent visit is all about spirits. The prices were more than Total Wine. We were looking to purchase bourbon and were comparing stock between various stores of a few brands on our shortlist. We decided on grabbing Blanton's and it was $51.99 here and at Total Wine for $42.99. Of course, we crossed the parking lot and bought it there instead. We were standing there for a while and comparing and debating. The store was empty aside from one other guy browsing and with at least 4 people not having a specific job, like the tasting booth or cashier, standing around I find it surprising that they didn't at least come on over to check on people. It wasn't until we were trying to leave did people try to ask us if they can help us with finding something. Maybe if they did approach us, we wouldn't have been on our phones looking at information and found that it's cheaper elsewhere. 5 items came up cheaper at Total Wine, 1 item came up same price. Beers I will definitely browse, but this probably is not the place we will be purchasing fine spirits to build up our collection. read more

Ladies and Gents. Boys and Girls. This review is #100! It's fitting for me to choose a Las Vegas institution for my 100th review. I paid a visit to this store last week when I decided to break my self-imposed sobriety two weeks sooner than expected. I didn't come here on purpose though. I was in search of a fantastic beer. Something craft. Something amazing. I went over to Total Wine (this review doesnt make me think any less of TW....) and I just didn't find what I was looking for (Stone Imperial Russian Stout 22oz). I crossed the street and went to Lee's. The moment I walked in, I knew I'd find something. The beer cooler is substantially larger than the one at Total Wine. In selection and size. I was shocked because TW is a massive store! This Lee's has a great selection of craft and imports. A good variety of Rogue's, Stone's, New Belgium"s, etc. I immediately found the Stone IRS and went on my way. Staff had a pretty good beer IQ. Didn't expect that from a "Discount Liquor" store. Had a fantastic experience here. Whenever I come back to visit Las Vegas (Moving to Scottsdale in a couple days), I will definitely pay a visit to this Lee's location. They've got lots of stuff! And as Ken M. said in his review, there is an emphasis on wine at this location. But the beer selection is quite good. Happy 100! read more

I was looking forward to shopping here. I miss Bevmo since moving to Vegas and from what I'd seen on TV, Lee's was the closest thing. The store, while a bit dark, was really neatly organized. I liked the low shelves, so it's easy to see across the store and find what you need. I thought the shelves were well-faced and they had a huge selection of everything. The pricing looked average. But what really turned me off was that upon entering around 5pm on a Friday, the store was empty save one other patron and a handful of employees, all of which were standing around the main aisle, kibbitzing and shooting the bull. We entered the store, walked through this gaggle of gabbers without so much as an acknowledgment. In fact, a guy who walked in behind us (but was clearly not WITH us) was greeted, but I wasn't. In fact, one of the men made a point of looking over my head , PAST me, when I was right in front of him, to greet the guy behind me. No one else stopped talking or made any eye contact with us. This really pisses me off. This is my first experience with your business. Heaven forbid I interrupt your employees' conversation! Look, I don't like to be hassled when I shop, so I don't need you to have a Walmart greeter. What I would have preferred is that one person standing there had looked me in the eye, said hello or offered to help me find what I needed. If the they had been busy with customers, I absolutely would not be even discussing this, but they were standing around doing nothing. To make matters worse, we had to walk through them 3 more times, once to look for something else, once to go back where we came from and finally, once more to LEAVE when I realized I had no intention of giving them my business that day. read more

Yes, you can go to the other fancy pants liquor store that is in the same complex as this location, I choose to spend my money in a locally owned business. Mr. Lee is a big supporter of local charities and schools. You can get yourself something extra special knowing some of it is going back to the community. This Lee's usually has decent prices and selection when I drop by... They were out of Remy Martin VSOP for months, but I dropped in on a whim, and they actually had the limited edition bottles I have been searching for! They have a pretty knowledgeable staff that has been able to answer my questions when they arise. Too bad they have some stiff competition nearby! But when Lee's has sales, they are usually cheaper...just not on the stuff for retail. read more

Great store located in Boca Park. Clean, easy parking, and GM Scott and his staff are a pleasure to work with. Fantastic selection of wine beer and spirits. Will match and beat any competitor. I myself prefer to support an independent business rather than a corporate chain like TW. High end selection is kept tempurature controlled. If you want great selection, pricing and customer service. Go see Scott, Francois and the crew at this newer Lee's location.
