Mixed review. So I was waiting for some family and after getting an annual flu shot I went over to Lees to get some booze for the liquor cabinet. They generally have a nice variety here. Now granted I was only in sweats but the whole time I was in the store everyone that worked there came up to me for one thing or another to the point of getting annoying. I got to the register and the girl was helping me and someone else came up and asked if I wanted to see my points so I said sure. At this point other people coming behind me in line. Then the manager comes up and was a straight jerk and tells me well you don't have enough points and I said points for what? What is the system and told him I didn't even ask. He then only loaded 5 of my 6 bottles and left me to finish. The only nice one in the whole store was the girl that started ringing up my order. I had a signature cocktail when I was in Denver last month and I loved it so much that I wanted to make my own. I had all ingredients needed to make it, but I was missing one mix-in; aperol. After I was unable to find it at Smith's, I came here to Lee's. Before this location opened, I went to the one on Sunset and Green Valley. Now I go here because it's much more convenient and closer to my house. This location actually used to be a Fresh and Easy (remember them?) many years ago. I stopped by on my quest to find aperol before heading off to my choir rehearsal in Boulder City. I was worried that it would take me a while to find it, but I went into the first aisle I saw and boom, it was right there in front of me, quest complete. It was $25 plus tax, which totaled up to around $27. Luckily the aperol was the only thing I needed to get here (I did catch eye on some Kinky drinks, which is another alcohol brand that I like, but did not get them). And then also came in the other night to grab some beers for pumpkin carving date night. If you live in Vegas, then you've seen the amazing hilarious advertisements from Mr. Lee and his son. They are too funny and definitely some local celebs. This Lee's Liquor location is located on Stephanie and Horizon Ridge, a bit more tucked away near the Ace Hardware and Henderson Pet Resort. If you're looking for wine, they have it. If you're looking for an obscure liquor, they probably have that, too. And if you need a craft beer, they have that, too. They really have an incredible selection of whatever it is you're looking for. And for the most part, it feels like the store is well mapped out for you to find what you need. If you can't, you can just ask an employee. I feel like so many employees here are so kind and always willing to help. Got into a nice convo with one when we came in yesterday about Nightmare Before Christmas and it was fun to chat! The Lee's store on Horizon Ridge has been my go-to liquor establishment since I moved here in 2017. It's a clean store with courteous, cheerful employees. On one special occasion, I was looking to buy one bottle of red, one of rose, and one of white for a total of about $100. Beyond that, I was looking for the right mix of sweetness and tartness. The cashier happened to be a wine drinker and she gave me her evaluation of wines that have appealed to her. The wines met my needs well. To me, this employee went beyond her assigned duties and helped fill a shopper's needs when I explained my limited exposure to wine. And the total cost was within 10% of my criteria. This place is so dirty, and the merchandise has a film of dust all over it. Bought an expensive bottle of wine from them. I got home and opened the bottle and it was no good. I took it back to them and they said they were unable to exchange it or refund it. This isn't the first bottle I've bought from them that was bad. I should have learned my lesson the first two times I got bad bottles of wine. The employee called the manager and the Manager said to call their corporate number who also was no help. Do yourself a favor and drive the 8 mins to total wine. read more

My husband and son visited this establishment the afternoon of the 24th. Immediately upon entering the store my husband was followed throughout the store. When he called the store to complain about being tailed he was told that was a new policy they enacted. With this in mind, we will avoid Lee's Liquors and frequent Wine and Spirits on Stephanie & Warm Springs. At this store we have not encountered such racist protocols to follow Black people when they are shopping. My husband is an elderly man in his 60's with excellent retirement benefits. This is not the type of store I would regularly review on Yelp. In general, I rarely review stores to begin with. That being said, I felt the need to give this store a shout out. I came in the day before Thanksgiving to buy a bunch of different things that my friends and family had requested. Now, it's important to note, that I do not really drink; so coming to a store like this can be an overwhelming experience, especially when armed with a list of liquors that you have never heard of before. When I stopped in, there were three or four lovely ladies working, and they were so freaking helpful! Not only did they not make me feel stupid or dumb because I didn't even know what I was shopping for, but they gave me recommendations on specific brands and flavors as well. Also when checked out the cashier asked if I was a rewards member and I told I don't believe so, but check. He did and then said no sorry for that, so no discount. I'm waiting to be asked if I wanted to become a member for next come I come, but he didn't. Looked online and saw only way to become member is through the cashier. I don't want to sound like I have a problem but I sure am happy Lee's opened up near my home! The new location at Horizon Ridge & Stephanie is definitely convenient and easy to find. You can access their parking lot from either road. The layout is like some of their other stores. Very organized and clean. Beer coolers, wine and liquor would make a prohibitionist blush. Since we aren't in the 1920's I think everyone will be ok with their wide selection. The employees were very helpful. We were told of their sales and deals that we could't pass up. I appreciated their friendliness. I have a feeling I'll be checking in again here soon! read more

I'm not often in the market for alcohol, but when I am I'll be coming here! Last weekend my brother was in town and wanted to check out local beers that he can't get in Ohio. This store really came through with some unique finds. We initially tried to go to Total Wine on Stephanie because I forgot that this location existed. That place was a zoo and coming to Lee's was a breath of fresh air. Everything about this location was preferable. The shopping center for this location is not busy and there is plenty of parking. We easily found a cart and were on our way. The inside of the store has a warehouse feel, but is well organized and labeled to assist in finding your preferred alcohol. The local/craft beer selection was huge. I definitely found some brands and flavors that I haven't seen before. Even my brother, a person always seeking unique beers was able to find beers that were new to him. I liked that the large selection extended to the cooler in case you want to something to take home and enjoy right away. I'll definitely be back when I need some fun beers to enjoy by the pool next summer or for Christmas gifts. read more

This location is dirty inside. There is dust on many of the bottles, the carts and carry baskets have a lot of dirt and grime in them and one of the aisles that I walked down smelled like vomit. They have a good selection, but the poor cleanliness discouraged me from buying anything. Total Wine nearby is much cleaner. read more

I love Lee's liquor, always helpful and good customer service. I've shop with Lee's for almost 10years. This location has been the best location i've been too always clean and stock of products I need. Staff is helpful and great! Store manager is so helpful on recommending great whiskey and wines, her hand full of special selection around the store is a great way to try something new. This store never disappoints me. Other locations has and after a great service I get here, I wouldn't shop anywhere else. Thanks Lee's liquor! First off I had the same experience the other reviewer had with the male clerk on Thur. 4/26/2019. Was asked about rewards member...I didn't know, but did not offer to check or enroll. I had about 12 items in my cart and was meandering to the check out area when a woman stepped up to the counter and set down what she was going to purchase than began to browse around at the items placed on display nearby. No problem, I got all the time in the world. The check out is a very large painted wood deck basically. Once I got up close to it I noticed it was not designed for all humans. It isn't like a super market where items move along more at waist level..It's more like if you are 6 foot or over you should be fine. Once I started placing my choices on the counter I notice how unusually high it was. Then I soon realized I had to lift everything back down into the cart again. In hind sight I would have put most everything back on the shelves knowing how much I was struggling. Everybody knows you're on your own in most stores anymore. No help with lifting or carry out. While that was happening, 2 women step up to pay for something and I'm struggling to lift bags with either 2 or 3 bottles in each one feeling like I need to really reach up to lift the bags. Anyway I'm telling this so if you have a big order bring along a tall friend to help. This location wasn't busy and I think a manager and stock person was around. No six-packs of Sam Adams Boston Lager in bottles. They have every other foofy fruit flavor of Sam Adams, but no Boston Lager in a six-pack. Sure, they have twelve-packs, which is more than I want. The employees are loud and irritating, yelling and laughing with no adult supervision. The wine ratings don't match the wines, not by year and sometimes not even by vineyard.
