I absolutely love this family operated business. I can call and they already know who I am and they have my order ready within 10 minutes of me giving them a call. They are very friendly personable. They know my children and they ask how they are doing every time I come in. This donut shop is just more than a donut shop. They have sandwiches they have Boba. It's just an all-around good experience and I just love coming here not only for the hospitality before the really great donuts and sandwiches.

Surprised my kids with donuts from a place we have never tried and it didn't disappoint! Fresh yummy donuts! Lady who helped me was super nice. She even gave us extra little donuts when she found out we've always wanted to try. Kids used to go to a school nearby. Place was organized and clean.

Quick review for two reasons. 1) Last time I was there they mere cleaning up from some vandalism, but still open, still trying to be positive. Maybe head over and show them some love! 2) Great service! I was on a call and in a rush, picking up donuts for work. So I just said to throw whatever random donuts in a box, while I was on the phone. I've done this before elsewhere, and you usually get all the lame donuts, she gave us a great selection, including custard filled, jelly filled, and an apple fritter. Much appreciated. Good donuts as always also.

Legit boba place. One of my ultimate forever favorite places to get boba! I did wonder why I never left a review while my butt keeps coming back here! But here I am. I've seen how this place struggled while pandemic was happening. Whenever I pass by I keep looking at that "Open" sign if it's on that's how I would know if they are open. There was a time that they were closed for how many days probably months. They have been through it all! I am just glad this place still exist! Boba drink is always made with love very refreshing make sure to tell them what's your sugar level! DO NOT FORGET TO LEAVE A CASH TIP :) Bagels, Croissants, Donuts are always fresh! My most favorite is bagel sausage and cheese! it used to be $3.50 however after pandemic prices went up which understandable. Service is always fast and efficient thats why i like it here :) I suggest coming here and check them out!

Great fresh donuts here! I love the glazed whole donut filled with custard! Many varieties and flavors of sweet delights here. I have yet to try their breakfast sandwiches but will definitely give them a try one of these mornings after 5 am. Friendly service and quality that you can taste! Four sugar coated stars!

Workers are always friendly, even when it's busy, and I've never had a bad experience. I love their Toffee Coffee, especially iced since it comes with toffee bits. Definitely on the sweeter side, recommend if you're more into sweet drinks and being up on sugar instead of caffeine (however they do have more caffeine forward options). Ambience is nice, tall open windows so there's a lot of light that comes in and there's always music playing. Not a lot of tables for big parties, but they also offer some couches with tables in the back. Cheese Bacon Crepe w/ Pasta: 9.5/10, delicious, my go-to. super filling, also has chicken & mushrooms. Pasta is not the most flavorful, but definitely does its job as just the side dish and I always end up finishing it anyway. Toffee Coffee: 11/10. One of my favorite coffees that I definitely treat as more of a sweet treat. The toffee bits in the iced toffee coffee are my favorite. I always crave to get this when driving on Hesperian.

We had the purple-colored Ube Pancakes and the Khao Hom Waffle, which contained strips of fresh coconut meat, and both beautifully-plated dishes were topped with berries and syrup. I was an even bigger fan of the Thai side of the menu, starting with the Papaya Salad, a refreshing, crunchy mixture of shredded papaya, green beans, tomatoes, and crushed peanut in a spicy, sweet, acidic dressing made of fish sauce and lime. For our mains, the Northern Thai Khao Soi was a noodle soup made of egg noodles and chicken breast strips in a rich coconut curry, topped with crispy egg noodles, pickled cabbage, and fried shallots. From the Chef's Special menu, the Tom Yum Crab Omelet was a mound of jasmine rice enveloped with an egg omelet, topped with chunks of crab, mushrooms, and a creamy tom yum sauce; and my favorite dish was the Roti Gai Tod, a hearty combination of breaded chicken thigh, roti (a flaky flatbread), cucumber salad, jasmine rice, and a mild but flavorful yellow curry sauce on the side. Overall, everything we tried here was delicious, and the service was super quick and friendly too! Tom Yum Crab Omelette- the best one to get since it has creamy tom yum sauce, a soft omelette, drizzled with a slice of lime, and crab meat with a few mushroom slices on top of fluffy rice. Khao Hom Waffle- coconut pandan waffle with fruits and syrup on the side. I wish they replaced the syrup with coconut milk syrup for better flavor and used no coconut shreds as a topping. Ube Pancake (side order)- one thick ube pancake that turned out dry when eaten with syrup. Never order anything that is not Thai on the menu. They should add Thai Tea pancakes to their menu with housemade Thai Tea syrup to make it more fusion. Pad Kee Mao w/ Chicken- I regret ordering this because the string beans were half raw, the tofu was dry, and the dish was a bit spicy. I should've ordered Pad Thai or Ka-Pow Short Rib Benedict instead. Thai Tea- strong and sweet, not too watery. It was less crowded when we arrived at 10 am on the weekend. The waitresses were fast and efficient, and the restaurant was nice and spacious.

Was meeting up with a friend from Berkeley and he found this spot in between the both of us. Pros and cons! + The coffee - holy shit. Got a cortado. And drank it without sugar it was so good. A touch of bitter (it's coffee - duh!) but so smooth, almost nutty but buttery at the same time. + Got a chicken salad sandwich. It came stacked HIGH with hints of sweetness and curry. Freshest produce. Honestly, I was hungry but could only eat half of it, it was so big. + Friend got a warmed cinnamon bun. Incredible. Yeasty, chewy almost crisp on the outside but pillowy soft on the inside. + Wide open space inside -- high ceilings, one big central area. Not tucked away spaces -- which might or might not match your preference. + Perfect amount of coffeehouse buzz. Music playing lowish in the background and lots of conversations. Just enough to quell my ADHD tendencies. * Honestly can't think of any negatives. Prices are a bit high but happy to pay it for such a quality experience. I think my cortado was decently priced -- maybe $6 or so? Sandwich was $18 or so but done really well and came with a bowl of soup (chips, fruit, and something else was an option instead of soup, but tomato bisque with a sandwich? Divine.) - An hour away from where I live but if you live anywhere East Bay, my curse is your blessing ;-)

They are a great snack while you wait for your meal. 9/10 - The ube pancakes: These were pretty solid. I didn't think that the pancakes themselves had a very strong ube flavor, if any. I think all of the flavor was in the ube coconut sauce that they come with. However, there is only sauce on the first layer so you might want to get extra! It is an additional $2.75 or so to get the extra side of ube sauce, though. The pancakes themselves could have been a little more moist and fluffy, as they were a bit dry and dense. I loved the fruit and sauce, so that definitely made up for it! I'm glad that I got to try, but I don't think I'd get them again. Instead, I would get a regular pancake and a side of the ube coconut cream! 8/10 - The chorizo burrito: My bf said that this was also a pretty good option. He thought that it could have been a bit more flavorful, but was still satisfied with his meal! 7.5/10 - The side of hash browns: These were good, as to be expected! While my partner did not like the French toast, because it was too eggy and not fluffy, I really enjoyed the veggie scramble. There were so many fresh veggies in the scramble that went well together such as avocado, olives, onions, bell peppers, etc. It was very delicious with the cheese and fresh salsa. A staffer said that their fresh salsa was the best, and we agreed -- it had a lot of flavor and went well with the eggs. My hash browns were also perfectly crispy, which was nice.
