We walk up to the ice cream counter to look at the flavors and they say we have to stand behind the register. We inquire as to whether we can taste flavors and they say yes, but only after you've purchased your ice cream. The issue with that is how do I know if I want one or two flavors until after I've tasted the gelato? I assume kids were coming in and tasting a bunch without buying anything, but then ask for a deposit or something. It doesn't make any sense to not be able to look at or taste the flavors before you have to order. I only tasted two flavors because they were making me so uncomfortable, and selected the second one I tasted--a dark chocolate flavor that wasn't honestly pretty darn excellent. So 5 stars for the actual taste (and their chocolates) and minus a star for the service.

The service was fine.  We were surprised that when some of the ice cream dropped from the sample spoon on to the floor by accident, and we asked for a napkin to clean it up, they told us not to worry about it.  I went and found a napkin anyway.  It was a little gross to have a blop of ice cream (even a small one) right in front of the counter where people would step on it.  They also didn't offer another sample knowing that that one never made it to anyone's mouth for a tasting....  Anyway, we opted to try two waffle cones with  a total of four scoops - malted milk chocolate and banana cookie dough, goey butter cake salted peanut butter and brown butter almond brittle.  Maybe it's a matter of too many different things in each type but we didn't really rave over any of them.  The location is clean with plenty of seating and a nice view of the flowered walk way out front.  However, being that it fell short of several other ice cream spots we have tried lately and that you have to pay for parking, I don't think we will be back.

Take a look at the bottom of the cup and you will see that it is recessed pretty deeply in the cup, meaning you aren't getting as big of serving as you would think with a cup that size.

I've ordered cakes from them for birthdays, graduations, and other celebrations, and they've always turned out great. I really like that their cakes are not too sweet (better for the Asian palette). Prices are fair too, which makes it even better. Their brown sugar boba latte is also sleeper good. Definitely recommend them whether you're at the mall or needing a cake.
