I ordered this for pickup and I'm so glad I came here! It was my first time trying a dirty soda - I'm not huge into soda but my fiancé is a huge fan so we decided to check it out. This place completely changed my mind about soda!! I got the pipeline which has Coke, pineapple syrup, coconut syrup, and coconut cream. We subbed the coke out for Coke Zero. This drink was awesome! I was afraid the pineapple would come across as really acidic but it was very subtle. My fiancé and I drank it faster than we'd like to admit. Can't wait to come back!

Yes and yes! I heard this place opened and was dying to come. As a non-drinker, I appreciate a fun soda business. There are so many options, so I asked the staff what they recommended. They were super helpful and walked me through the menu of their favorites and what people tend to order. I got the Nags head, which was dr. Pepper, coconut cream, coconut syrup and lime. The lime made it, wow it tasted like Hawaii. I think they said this was the most popular. My husband got the cyclops, and I liked the Nags head better. I will be back next time I am in the area!

The shaved ice at Coco's is spectacular! It brings me right back to Hawaii and the flavors are so incredible. We frequently come to Coco's and have only have had good experiences. My favorite is the Hanalei shaved I've but I've tried many different ones and loved them all

I am here for the same reason I would presume many others are and that is the Instagram content and frankly viral interest that this establishment has inspired!!! I learned about "dirty sodas" from sonic but this spot truly blows this trend out of the water. The menu is extremely impressive with combinations that I would've never expected! It is very difficult to walk in and only order one soda. I really loved the minimal Decker with a little bit of a beachy fun vibe. It reminded me of the Outer Banks. The service here is absolutely lovely and friendly. The young ladies behind the counter gave me great suggestions on their most ordered sodas. I was planning to order a classic soda, a Diet Coke with coconut cream and a twist of lime... But ultimately, I ended up trying this with diet Dr Pepper as the base- an item on the menu called the "Nags Head". The diet Dr Pepper as a base really adds a layer of mild spice and versatility to the beverage and each sip was a new exploration!!! I would have to say that this one was my favorite. I also ordered the "Tubes" with a sprite base and a cherry flavor. It was as the lady behind the bar, said "an elevated Shirley Temple". Cool to see how popular this place is amongst people of all ages. Really nice to see how there was some small board game set up inside with small seating and larger seating options outside. I saw individuals run on in for their caffeine kick of the day and walk out very happy sipping away just as much as I saw friends and groups, ordering their sodas and sitting down and chatting up the afternoon. This shopping center has plenty of parking so no worries here. Right after I tried it I instantly told my little brother about how he had to try this spot ASAP and told all my coworkers needless to say I will be back very soon.

Yep - I came here because I watched the secret lives of mormon wives, and was looking for a vibe similar to "Swig" like I saw on the show, lol. I got "the coco" - a diet coke with coconut and lime flavors, and absolutely loved it. It wasn't too "complicated" for me, and was such a delicious touch to a typical diet coke! My partner got one of the energy drink ones and enjoyed it, although he did say it was slightly sweet for his tastes (I'm sure this can be adjusted if you bring it up to the staff - # of pumps and whatnot). Very cool to give a try, and when I'm in the area I will absolutely be stopping in!

My special concoction haha - Cloudbreak

Cocos is such a great find. The staff gave perfect drink suggestions. My husband ordered a Coke with cranberry syrup, fresh lime, and whipped cream, and he loved it. I had the Cloudbreak and enjoyed every sip. We drove from North Potomac to Vienna and it was absolutely worth it. We will be returning.

Snapper (lemonade with green apple syrup and whipped cream)

Good dirty soda but I don't think anything extraordinary where I would go out of my way for. There were many different soda combinations. We tried the Witches Rock (sprite with strawberry and mango puree), Cyclops (root beer with butterscotch syrup and vanilla cream), and Supertubes (sprite with cherry syrup and vanilla cream). All three were good. It's nice they have a kids menu and both of my kids shared the snapper (lemonade with green apple and whipped cream). The kids weren't a fan of their drink. They wanted hot chocolate but it wasn't being served at the time. Also, they serve Hawaiian shaved ice but only during the summertime. Guess we can return if we are nearby in a few months. Service was friendly and quick. There were a few seating options indoors and outdoors.

Sooo yummy and very friendly employees will definitely be coming back I got a Dr Pepper with cherry and vanilla

I've always wanted to try a dirty soda and so glad I got to! The sodas were pretty good. I got the one with a sprite base and vanilla crème. My boyfriend got a redbull based one which tasted too strongly of Red Bull and didn't have any other flavors in it. I definitely recommend the soda based ones. The prices are also super reasonable. I will definitely be back to try the other flavors!

    Nags Head dirty soda.

My first dirty soda was amazing. I got the Nags Head with sugar free coconut syrup (vs real sugar). If I drink soda I love Diet Dr Pepper. This hit the spot for sure! The line went slowly as they appeared to not have enough staff, however, it was worth the wait.

The flavors rotate seasonally with different combo twist flavors and there's now a Mini 6 oz option as well as the 9 oz classic option with unlimited toppings! There are interesting seasonal flavors that are fun to try: - Honey Dew & Guava Cheesecake Twist - The summer flavor and sweetness of the honey dew complemented the exotic guava cheesecake flavor. - Peach Honey Goat Cheese - My favorite summer! The unique flavor is complex with a bit sweetness and a touch of savory. You can taste all of the ingredients. - Sakura: The pink cherry spring flavor wasn't that sweet and a bit tangy. - Kyoto Taro Cheesecake: A great combo of Taro and Matcha Cheesecake twist that's not too sweet and flavorful Ube Cheesecake flavor - A bit bland with a subtle cheesecake flavor. - Watermelon Basil - Fun flavor to try and tastes like a sour watermelon jollyrancher. It pairs well with the Peach Honey Goat Cheese flavor. - Black Sesame - Grey, savory flavor with a hint of bitterness. - Cookies and Cream flavor is a bit bland. - Classic Ube & Pandan Twist: I always resort back to my favorite default sweet and coconutty flavor. The Taikayi waffle cones are delicious. As the stuffed Taikyai is quite decadent, getting it hollow without any filling is the best way to go with the ice cream. Any type of filling with the ice cream becomes overload of sweetness. The Wicked Pandan Float (from the glass cooler) was delicious with layers of green coconut Pandan cheesecake custard pudding on a bed of Oreo Crumbs drizzled with salted caramel dulche leche. All of the flavors pair well together. I wasn't a fan of the Ube Dulce Leche or the Ube Oreo Floater. The Ube custard was a bit bland and didn't like the jelly topping. Skip the floats in the cooler and head straight to order the ice cream! Sign-up with the app and you can score deals and discounts via text and get notified of new flavors and when some flavors retire. My kids and I enjoyed love coming here and sharing a fun sundae! We came here a dozen times during the summer. There's both indoor and outdoor seating.

Thing's to consider about…read morethe service, if you order via Kiosk you will either get your order in 20 or 40 minutes depending on if the workers are talking in the back not realizing you put an order in. Talk to the people that work there for orders to make sure the one you want isn't running out and to ask if it's being made fresh. The workers don't ask you anything just make the food when they finally do get around to making it. The food is good but expensive for what it is, the service is a 1/100 if that is possible. Food is 6/10 could be better, honestly go to an asian market and buy ice cream there it taste better and is cheaper. Plus you don't have to feel insulted waiting nearly an hour for an order when you're the only one in the restaurant and ordered via Kiosk. The kiosk is there for convenience to disregard customer to worker interaction making it easy to just gloss over orders until they feel a type of urgency when the restaurant floods with people. ONLY THEN will you get your order faster. Upon finding out they were talking to a manager in the back disappointed me more because a good manager would say look we have an order ticket handle this first then we can continue talking but I had to wait for their conversation to end before they even began working on my order. Do i recommend this place If you order via kiosk and don't mind waiting half an hour go for it If you like mediocre mid overhyped food go for it If you value your time and money go to an asian grocery store and buy their ice cream.

Personally just prefer the drinks here, and the customer service is also really good. If you're someone who likes boba or coffee after dinner, I'd highly suggest this place as they have everything from regular coffee/espresso drinks to unique kinds of lattes, and my personal favorite, the Adeni Chai latte. Also there's different types of cakes/desserts that go together perfectly with your drink. Highly suggest the basbousa if you are trying something -- it's perfectly light, yummy, but not too sweet. While it's not super huge, it's still a good size and I often see people in here studying or families gathering to have tea. The ambiance is very welcoming. So overall, I have to rate it as a great cafe. We will obviously be back.

If you're hesitant about it being gamey, don't be! It had a perfect balance of sweetness from the caramelized onions and a distinct, smoky flavor from being torched. For the main, I had the Pan Seared Wild Petrale Sole, which was beautifully cooked and fresh. My friend loved the chicken, and we ended the night sharing a delicious dessert. Bonus: Parking was a breeze--we found a spot on the street right in front of the restaurant. We will definitely be back!

We definitely went to the Dabney quite a bit when Sam was working there. But, as for Evelyn Rose - we couldn't be more thrilled. When the Bazins announced that they were selling their restaurant, I honesty couldn't think of better new owners, and they have just nailed it. Food: The food is excellent. Always well-seasoned with lots of choices for all different appetites and preferences. A few specific touches that I personally love - half portions of pasta, options on an a la carte menu as well as a tasting menu (every evening!) and the ability to often order courses a la carte off the tasting menu. Flexibility is the name of their game, and it is truly appreciated. Chef Nick really has a way with fish, and that's frequently what I order there, but honestly, I think only one time did I have a dish that I felt was sub-par (I had a meat dish that was slightly overcooked and a tad dry) but that's a few and far between occurrence. Last night I had the rockfish dish which was perfectly crisped, and the sauce and beans that accompanied it were just perfect. My husband had the gnocchi which was light and fluffy. Service: Sam, the co-owner and Sommelier, is really just amazing at hospitality. He is friendly, warm, and always looking to ensure you are having a great experience. He's put together a small, but well-curated wine list - nothing overly expensive, and wines that you'd 'expect' to see as well as hidden gems. He's always willing to offer advice on wine pairings - not just for the tasting menu but the a la carte menu, which is always appreciated by my husband and I. Aside from Sam, generally, the service is attentive most times we have dined there - most of the time, if the service is lagging a bit, it's usually because they are packed! Vibe: Evelyn Rose has a cozy, warm vibe. Lots of exposed wood and blue and gold tones throughout the restaurant. Do note that it can get loud, especially on weekends when they are packed. Other: We are very blessed to have such an excellent restaurant down the street. Don't take my word for it - we were at Albi just a few nights ago and when we mentioned to the bartender we live in Vienna, they said "oh, have you been to Evelyn Rose?" (seriously!) Coming from a bartender at a one-star Michelin restaurant...I'd say that's quite the compliment. Looking forward to many more dinners at Evelyn Rose!
