Okay I needed a pick-me-up after a satisfying dinner that gave me a bit of food coma. This is my first time at Lee's in their new area and it looks great. Super spacious inside with a lot of indoor seating. The establishment haves great air conditioning keeping the guest nice and cool. I was welcomed upon arrival and ordered their ice coffee ( Vietnamese style) and oh em gee. This coffee is exactly what imagine it to be and because I have heard good things. This coffee is so thick and rich. RICH! With a capital R. If you want something that's strong and delicious. This coffee is gonna do it for you. It's not diluted at all, not too much ice, just perfect . I would come back just for the coffee honestly but I definitely want to try their banh mi sandwich and see what's up. if you're reading this review, let me preface by saying that hopefully after reading my experience, you'll end up going to a different place. Today, I stopped by Lee's to get some egg rolls. The moment I walked in, I knew it wasn't good because they don't have any customer. This elderly gentleman took my order. And they gave me my coffee pretty fast, then they had me wait a good while for the egg rolls even though they had some already made. I thought they wanted to make it fresh for me. After 5 mins, they came by to ask me why I wasn't leaving, to which I told them they hadn't given me my egg rolls. The dude proceeded to grabbing the ready-made egg rolls that was sitting in the warmer for who-knows-how-long. That's red flag number one. Red flag number 2 was when they gave me 4 egg rolls when I ordered 5. Bro didn't know how to count. I had to remind him again. Red flag number 3 was when I saw the beverage promotion in which you could get a $1 discount if you buy a beverage during M-F 1-6 or whatever. I told him about it after having paid for my drink, and instead of trying to refund me for a dollar, he told me it'll only apply if I had mentioned it before the payment. Now, I don't want to be petty about $1, but it seems pretty greedy of them to do that. And moreover, I had gone to this place at times before and if you order their vietnamese ice coffee without ice, they'll only fill it up halfway. My overall impression of this place is that nothing is fresh. From the meat to alll their fried products (and they have a lot of fried product varieties), they're all frozen and shipped from elsewhere. I will not be visiting this location again. And probably will try to avoid all Lee's sandwiches franchise together in the future. If you're looking for some good traditional vietnamese sandwiches, you should look elsewhere. 100% would not recommend this place. read more

Ordered the roast beef sandwich on a baguette. The bread was fresh and delicious and the sandwich was tasty. Good size and good toppings. Underneath the sandwich there was a mustard packet and onion to put on the sandwich if desired. Great for sharing or indulging into the entire sandwich yourself. We ate the whole sandwich, not a crumb left. Staff was helpful. Plenty of seating inside or take it to go. Order your food and wait 5-10 minutes for them to prepare it. So I had no idea that Lee's was a bahn mi place! I had always passed by but never went in. I was waiting for Mochinut to open and stopped in here to pass the time. It was tidy and gave that donut house/cafe vibe. They have tons of options on their menu. I tried the sesame balls. Those were crisp and slightly sweet. Very tasty. My daughter got a caramel milk tea with coffee jelly. She liked it. Looked like they had some regulars come in. The people here are super friendly. First of all the very first thing I had at Lee's Sandwich shop was the Lee's cold coffee. and Yesterday I had the baguette sandwich with BLT. A Simple sandwich and the baguette hit the spot. I am a sucker for a good simple sandwich and only wonderful thing is it was at least a half of the baguette and they can cut it in four slices so you can share. So I was able to snag a too good to go box. Everything went smoothly with pick up, you can also have someone pick up for you when you share your link. I spent a total of $8.66 for a mystery box of their goodies. I think it's totally worth it, since you can try a little bit of everything they have to offer. No sandwich but bakery items and hot food to go that they get rid of at the end of the night. Place is always clean and well kept, plenty of room as well. The amount of meat and filling ratio was sad as well. Also got the pork pate chaud and it used to be my go to breakfast but that wasn't the case here. Inside was small and croissant felt over cooked and old. Staff was normal service. Place is clean inside but there's not always some in the front so it can take a while to order. Stopped by Lee's Sandwiches at Campus Pointe early on a weekend morning since it was one of the few places open, and it was such a nostalgic experience. The store is supposed to close at 8 PM. I placed an order for a sea salt coffee at 7:12 PM. They charged me for it, but the drink they gave me was not sea salt coffee. I had the same drink here just a couple of days ago, so I know exactly what it's supposed to taste like -- and this wasn't it. When I asked if it was the sea salt coffee, they admitted they were out of the sea salt cream. Why didn't they tell me before taking my order and charging me for it? That's basic customer service. If you're out of a key ingredient, you need to inform customers, not just give them a different drink without saying anything. On top of that, it was only 7:12 PM, and they had already put chairs up on the tables like they were ready to close. What's the point of advertising store hours if you're going to start shutting down almost an hour early? There was also a Vietnamese guy -- who seemed like he might be the store manager -- and he clearly didn't care about customer service at all. He showed no interest in making things right or even acknowledging the issue. If you don't care about satisfying customer needs, then why even bother running a business in the first place? read more

I've given this coffee shop so many chances, but it's honestly frustrating at this point. Every single time I come in and ask for flan, they NEVER have it. I feel like I need to give this spot another chance just based on their extensive menu. I've been wanting to come in to try their basic Banh Minh. I love a good basic Banh Minh. I ordered the combination and a chicken meat pie. I intended to order the spring rolls since I love them and want to try whenever they're on a menu. Well, I forgot once I got up to order :( My sandwich had an off putting taste so I put it in the fridge to get cold and eat for breakfast. Ordered the pho with free coffee, smoothie, banh bao, nuggets. One item came out at a time. Then the pho came and I reminded them I haven't received the coffee. My kid loves the nuggets, as they were fresh and hot. The Bao was good. The pho was plain and very light in broth favor and for $16.50 it was smaller then other potions in town. I didn't know this Vietnamese bakery/sandwich shop existed in Fresno. Found them through the "too good to go" app. What a pleasant surprise!!! I haven't had a late choux since I was in Garden Grove. I've missed these little gems of seasoned minced meat in puff pastry. The croissants are great, the veggie bun (steamed rice) was tasty. The service was friendly & the store was very clean. Very bad food. Due it was close to the school, I decided to give it another chance. I ordered a vegetarian banh mi, which was highly recommended by their staff. Let's say I am very familiar with all type of banh mi. All I got was pickled carrots, daikons and peppers, not a single strand of tofu for about $10. It was late and have no time to go back. Our sandwiches were amazing. As well as the iced coffees. We got the iced americano and substitute with soy. Honestly not sweet but also not undrinkable as if you were drinking black coffee. So, to be honest, the sandwiches are not all that great. When I was a kid eating Lee's in OC, I thought they were amazing. Now that I've had so much amazing banh mi at various pho restaurants, I was actually pretty disappointed having Lee's again after so long. However, they offer a killer veteran's discount that my spouse was able to take advantage of, and at that price this place is totally worth coming back to. Also, the woman at the counter was so helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, she made the whole experience better. I'm not sure if I would go without the vet discount, but with it, this is definitely a 5 star experience because you get what you pay for. read more

Hey everyone! I just tried Lee's Sandwiches, and it was absolutely delicious! I had the barbecue pork sandwich with added grilled chicken, and it was packed with meat--so flavorful and satisfying. We gave them several chances, but everytime has been a disappointment. The only time I recall liking their sandwiches was the very first time we tried them, shorty after they opened. - Pastries: they're decent. We get some from time to time. - French baguette: still good and still the same price as of one year ago. The main reason why we still go there. Service: - Transactional. They're not looking to be friendly or establish a positive relationship with their clients. - Slow, even when there is no one else in the shop. - One time they forgot half our order, and we had to go back to get it. Not cool. - Another time, after buying a dozen baguettes, about half of them were white!... Like, not fully cooked?! We checked the inside and it was cooked, just the outside did not look right. The taste was okay, so we decided to let it go. We live too far to go back for a quick exchange. Staff, as you place the baguettes into the bags, how can you not notice the difference in color? i love how clean it is here! it's never too busy when we stop by, but parking can be hit or miss if there's an event down the block. we usually order the #12 & #34 and everything is made fresh & delicious. sometimes we order the sesame balls, freshly cooked and it's amazing. lasts a few days too. prices on sandwiches and pastries is pretty fair for what you get. customer service usually excellent. read more
