    Viet coffee
    Mimi T.

My neighbor got me and my husband to go food from Lee's on a Saturday morning. I haven't had it in 5-6+ years so I was excited to try it again after a long time. We got the special combo banh mi, grilled beef banh mi, and Vietnamese coffee. The banh mi was much bigger than I remembered! It took me two meals to finish it. It was delicious and fresh. The bread was crispy and not too dense. The meats were perfectly balanced with veggies & the mayo was perfect. My husband enjoyed his grilled beef sandwich but also couldn't finish it in one sitting. I love the generous portion and having leftovers for later. I'm picky about the mayo. The viet coffee is always my go to at any viet cafe but this one was little too sweet for me and I didn't notice the traditional flavors like I'm used to. I heard there is a drive thru which is perfect for grabbing easy to go food for the family. I'll definitely need to go there myself one day soon.

Read on Google that they have a bussin Vietnamese coffee so I came and tried it. It was indeed bussin. Didn't try any of the food so this review is solely for the drink!

Loooove the Bahn Mis here. Located on Bellaire Lee's Sandwiches is one of my favorite chains. The bread is very crisp on the outside. Soft and bready on the inside. I love the grilled pork. They also add all the pickled veggies and onions. I came at 3p and there was only a few people there. Recommend for a quick lunch.

I always go to Lee's sandwich most of the Saturdays and enjoy it. Today, I wanted to try something different and I ordered #6 BBQ Pork and asked to add extra Pate and Mayonnaise. When I open the sand which, there was no pate or mayonnaise. It's basically just meat and vegetables and no sauce or anything. However I was charged extra pate but never got any in my sandwich

3.5 stars. Came here for lunch. We had a couple sandwiches banh mi, almond croissants, and the little corn shaped sponge cake filled a custard filling to go. Everything tasted pretty good. They have a drive thur which seems to be pretty busy in the afternoon. I noticed it's a senior citizen meetup spot which is kind of cool to see the viet community there just catching up. The restaurant is spacious, but the bathrooms were not that clean and run down unfortunately. They make there baguettes baked daily in house which is nice to see. Good for a quick lunch on the go.

As usual, Lee's sandwiches never disappoint. We got the chicken pate, couple of sandwiches, pastries, and desserts. All were great! Prices were decent as well. The viet coffee was amazing. Just right amount of cream and caffeine. We grabbed freshly baked baguette. Highly recommend.

Have not had much other than their Vietnamese coffee and let me tell you, it HITS! Being a visitor from New England, this was definitely a vibrant awakening of flavors. No bitterness at all, just rich dark roasted coffee sweetened with indulgent condensed milk.

Coffee is always a hit. I love Vietnamese coffee. This place is the OG place. However, Customer service could definitely improve. We ordered two coffees and both of our coffee cups were FILLED with ice. I definitely was not happy. It's disappointing because coffee isn't cheap. I literally felt like I had a few sips. Not to mention, my SO asked for a cup of ice and they charged him 50 cents in a foam cup... he asked if he could have a lid. They said they would charge 50 cents for a cup with lid.

One of the popular place for banh mi in Houston. It may not the best but it's considered good. Beside banh mi you can order finger food

    Pork Roll

Came here to for the first time. Ordered the Combination Roll and the Pork Roll. Both are delicious especially when you enjoy the Vietnamese butter mayo and Pate (pork liver) spread. These sandwiches have meats that are not found in supermarkets and kind of look like a type of bologna. These are traditional meats that are in banh mi's. So if you're not used to eating these types of meats and don't wanna try it, then I'd recommend the bbq pork. These banh mi's come with pickled daikons/carrots, jalapeños, and other veggies. Overall, decent price for a fresh and crunchy 10in banh mi. They also sell their Vietnamese butter mayo, Pate, desserts, and snacks. The staff are super friendly and fast. The dine in area is huge so you shouldn't have any problem finding a place to eat. They also have a drive thru and restrooms and an armed security guard. This place is also conventionally located across the street from the Hong Kong City Mall on Bellaire. Happy New Years

Nicely priced . Fresh veggies . Great portions . Great customer service . The inside isn't freezing cold but a nice cool that makes me feel very comfortable. It's clean and quaint. I love how the number is called in English and Vietnamese, makes me feel like I'm learning something lolz .

There's plenty of free parking in the shopping lot, which makes visiting Lee's Coffee a breeze. I come here regularly for their signature coffee, which always impresses me with its smooth texture and thick body, perfectly balancing sweetness with the natural bitterness of the brew. The service is always quick and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. The shop itself is spacious, with plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor options as well. On this visit, I decided to try the pate chaud based on a friend's recommendation, and I was pleasantly surprised. The pastry was light and flaky, with a juicy and flavorful pork filling. I enjoyed it so much that I also tried the chicken version, which I liked even more! Both were delicious, and given the great quality for the price, this will definitely become a regular snack for me.

Anytime in a city that has Lee's, it's my first stop. Im convinced the crushed ICE Lee's uses in their coffee makes their already mind blowing-ly creamy and strong coffee even more tasty. We also bought the chicken & pork pate choux- the pork was the preferred option with better flavor and texture. The outside is light and flakey, the right amount of oil. First time trying the spicy wings and 10/10, crispy fresh and umami. The banh mi is large and we were able to split it with our group of three. The price is very affordable, everything in the picture for under $35! Also the inside is very loud and lively. Lots of parking space. Quick service, everything was out within 5 mins even with the long lines.

Houston's Vietnamese coffee scene is incredibly strong, but not all cups are created equal. What I loved about this one was how rich, bold, and deeply coffee-forward it was without ever tasting burnt or bitter. The coffee had that intense Vietnamese coffee flavor you want while remaining smooth and balanced from start to finish. Paired with the pandan, it was a perfect combination. The pandan added subtle vanilla-like and floral notes along with just the right amount of sweetness. Best of all, it was not overly sweet, which is where a lot of specialty coffee drinks miss the mark for me. The flavors complemented each other beautifully without either one overpowering the other. That said, this place is chaotic. If you're in a rush, I probably would not recommend it. My coffee took about 20 minutes, and the operation felt busy and hectic. Honestly, though, it was worth the wait to try authentic, high-quality Vietnamese coffee in Houston. If pandan is not your thing, don't worry. They have a huge menu with plenty of other coffee and drink options to choose from. For coffee lovers, this is the kind of place worth seeking out. Houston continues to impress me with its Vietnamese food and coffee scene, and this spot is another reason why.

One of my favorite things was how fragrant the space smelled while I waited for my boba. You could tell there was an exceptional tea aroma lingering despite all the cream and sweetness. The place was exceptionally clean for being so busy, and the workers consistently cleaned as they made the drinks, so you knew you could trust the sanitation here. Drink Design - I have to make a separate comment on how CUTE these drinks were. I loved the intentional sticker placement over the lips and the little carrying handle. You could tell they went the extra mile to make these drinks not just flavorful, but an experience in and of themselves. Even their receipt paper felt luxurious. That sounds ridiculous to point out, but the thought behind every aspect of this place is impeccable. High Mountain Pouchong Tea w. Lemon Juice & Mousse (Creamy Lemon Tart) - After all the sugar I had today, this lemony drink hit the spot with its perfect tartness. The cream had bits of lemon zest in it, adding to the aroma. I tried to adjust the sweetness when I ordered and was told it had a built-in sweetness, but if I found it too sweet, they would happily switch it out for another drink. I felt like I was dealing with Amazon's generous return policy--and luckily, the drink was perfect, so no return was needed! Creamy Mango Tart - Literally like the Lemon Tart, but mango. I loved this just as much and really enjoyed the refreshing flavors of BOTH tarts. Instantly a fan favorite. Dong Ding Oolong Tea w. Fresh Milk - Very mild and creamy, almost like a mellow latte. Not my favorite because it was a bit too creamy after everything else I had today. Still, I loved the tea profile and can absolutely see why others would love it. Overall, I love, love, LOVE this place. 1000/10. From the experience to the quality and intentionality behind every little detail, I couldn't be happier with my visit. I never thought I'd ever say that a drink was so Instagram-worthy, but these drinks were beautiful--like models of the boba world. Would go back in a heartbeat. I went with the Hawaii Sunset fruit tea at 50% sugar. Just a heads-up: their fruit teas lean more on the fruit-forward side than actual tea, and mine was definitely on the sweeter end of the spectrum--likely from the syrup in the mango popping boba. Even at half sugar, it was pretty sweet. I also noticed a couple of things that could've made the drink better: some lemon seeds were left in, and the smaller bits of mango weren't fully ripe, which made the texture a bit off. That said, the staff's kindness and the wide variety of drinks make me want to come back and try other options! I'm especially interested in their Saigon street food menu and those adorable kitty paw-shaped mochi waffles. The shop itself is small with limited seating, so I'd recommend grabbing your drinks to-go unless you're staying for a bite. Bonus points for being located in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking--no stress finding a spot!
