Let's start with the Biscoff Vietnamese coffee--it was delicious! The cold foam was thick, creamy, and perfectly sweet. As I sipped the iced coffee, the flavors blended together really well. My only complaint was the amount of ice in the cup. There was quite a bit, so if you don't drink it fairly quickly, the coffee becomes watered down. The sandwich was fresh, flavorful, and served on soft bread that wasn't hard or overly chewy. I also liked that they offered a wide variety of sandwiches, so there's something for everyone. I went through the drive-thru, and the service was quick with very little wait time. The staff was friendly, courteous, and efficient. sandwhiches are good. but the key is you have to take it home, heat it up and add mayo for yourself. ive ordered here many many times and always request extra mayo but they never ever do it. rediculous. they dont read orders adn just make the sandwhiches with zero f's.... by default most of their sandwhiches are dry and little spread on it. idk if they do it on purpose but thats just how they do it. they make it simple meat and bread with barely any butter or mayo. so go home, heat it up and add mayo or butter yourself. then the sandwhich will taste great. read more

My neighbor got me and my husband to go food from Lee's on a Saturday morning. I haven't had it in 5-6+ years so I was excited to try it again after a long time. We got the special combo banh mi, grilled beef banh mi, and Vietnamese coffee. The banh mi was much bigger than I remembered! It took me two meals to finish it. It was delicious and fresh. The bread was crispy and not too dense. The meats were perfectly balanced with veggies & the mayo was perfect. My husband enjoyed his grilled beef sandwich but also couldn't finish it in one sitting. I love the generous portion and having leftovers for later. I'm picky about the mayo. The viet coffee is always my go to at any viet cafe but this one was little too sweet for me and I didn't notice the traditional flavors like I'm used to. We ordered two coffees and both of our coffee cups were FILLED with ice. I definitely was not happy. It's disappointing because coffee isn't cheap. I literally felt like I had a few sips. These sandwiches have meats that are not found in supermarkets and kind of look like a type of bologna. These are traditional meats that are in banh mi's. So if you're not used to eating these types of meats and don't wanna try it, then I'd recommend the bbq pork. These banh mi's come with pickled daikons/carrots, jalapeños, and other veggies. Overall, decent price for a fresh and crunchy 10in banh mi. They also sell their Vietnamese butter mayo, Pate, desserts, and snacks. The staff are super friendly and fast. The dine in area is huge so you shouldn't have any problem finding a place to eat. They also have a drive thru and restrooms and an armed security guard. Lee's has been around for a long time in the Chinatown area as a staple for banh mi and other things Vietnamese. It's located in a somewhat run down plaza and serves as more a hangout spot for older folks than anything during the times that I've went to get takeout. Due to inflation, the banh mi's are around $6-7 now compared to the $2-3 years ago. Service is very minimal/nonexistent; you walk up to the counter, order, and wait at the pick up counter. There's plenty of baguettes baked in house in the background. Interior is very meh and not very inviting to eat; the good thing about this place used to be a fresh baguette and a cheap, solid banh mi. The bread is still decent sized (you can eat 1-2 and be stuffed) but the toppings on the inside have shrunk quite a bit. Ordered the #11 combination and the #5 grilled pork. The combo had some sliced Vietnamese deli meats, some butter, pickled carrots, and veggies. This is probably the classic sandwich. The grilled pork was slightly sad; the pork was a bit tough and bland and there also wasn't much of it in there so you'd be eating mostly bread. Overall, this is still a decently quick takeout spot for banh mi if you happen to be in the area. I wouldn't recommend to eat inside as I felt pretty out of place standing around and the plaza isn't the nicest. read more

I always have to hit up Lee's for their Vietnamese iced coffee. Can't get enough of it. Their coffee are pretty consistent at the different locations I've tried. I got to try a non traditional banh mi. This one has fish patty in it. It was actually pretty good. Which I do enjoy eating fish patties anyways. Goes well with the fresh veggies. This place is a throwback. I use to go when it was on Beltway and Beechnut way back when. They have Baguette and Croissant Sandwiches, Pastries, Smoothies, Coffee, and Teas. I usually order the Eggrolls, and Chicken Wings. I know that times and prices have changed. I don't understand the quality as much though. The wings come in little drumettes and wingettes. The have gotten extremely small. The Eggrolls have more wrapper than the ingredients inside. I ordered at the drive thru and they told me to drive to the next window to get my items. The lady gave me my bag. I noticed that I didn't have any duck sauce for my eggrolls. I tried to wave at the guy inside to tell him and he looked at me crazy and shook his head and gestured for me to go back thru the drive thru but there were people behind me. He did not get up and come to the window, even though he was less than 5 feet from it. I blew my horn to get someone's attention and I stayed there.
