We stopped here, in the paradise of Grain Valley, for a couple of lattes on a cold February day and…read morewere happy we did. The lattes were quite good, the space itself an oasis of calm, the service friendly, speedy and professional. We like our lattes, like our daily lives, without ice. Scout Coffee is highly recommend from us!

**I have been to Scout Coffee so many times, I can't believe I have never reviewed it!! Weird**…read more I am a bit of a (self-prescribed) coffee snob. I don't want to drink any other coffee but really, really good craft coffee. If I drink anything else (from a fast food place, or Starbucks, or a Keurig), I will only do so if it's the only option and only if there is heavy whipping cream available. Scout Coffee is my saving grace while I am in Blue Springs. Their coffee is excellent, as good as some big dogs (like Onyx Coffee, Black and White, Intelligentsia, or Counter Culture). Great flavors. Great pour over options. Wonderful seasonal drinks that are not too sweet (although I wish they used better syrup, like Pink House Alchemy). They also serve some bakery items (limited) that are very good! I love their cinnamon sugar posh tart. The atmosphere of the shop is eclectic but comfy. Weird decorations, but it works. In the warmer days, the front porch is a great place to sit and visit with friends, or read a good book. They have good merch options and sell their coffee by both the bag and the bucket. All in all: excellent coffee. Worth the drive if you are 20-30mins nearby in KC. Oh, and the service is excellent! So friendly. So helpful.

It's nice to finally have a cozy, comfy, go to coffee shop again!…read more Tucked into the heart of downtown LS, Frost coffee setves delicious breakfast sandwiches, strong coffee, and friendly vibes. I've enjoyed every experience so far, from the food, to the drinks, and even the people watching. I'll be back soon!

This place had several good things going for it. The drip coffee for the longest time was…read moreexquisite. They would brew it with perfect balance, which had a full-bodied flavor, but now? It's been three consecutive times that I've came and the brew has been on the disappointing week side. If I got something else like a chai, it's been a little on the lackluster side too. They used to have some awesome baristas, and I haven't seen this one barista who made sure things ran smoothly. Yesterday, I noticed customer service really lacking. When I arrived at 11:30 AM the three baristas were all up front and had been attentive, but around 1 PM they had all drifted in back and none would pop their head out to see if anyone had come to the counter. I had stood at the counter for five minutes or so, and had thought I had made eye contact with one girl, but apparently she must have not seen me. I even said "hello" out loud, but nothing. A minute or two later a lady came in and was waiting behind me, and after a minute or two she asked if I had been waiting long. I told her the truth, and eventually a barista came out and asked me if I had been waiting long? I explained that I had, and had tried to catch someone's attention. I ordered an iced matcha and the lady behind me ordered some other drink. Guess who's came out first? I waited a few more minutes and noticed the another barista (a guy) had just started making an iced match, which apparently was my drink. Where were the girls? In the back, chatting away and giggling. I guess neither of them knew how to make an iced matcha.
