    Gyoza Egg Rolls Shrimp Tempura
    Brittney L.

My husband see's any labeled 'teriyaki', he has to try it out LOL. I will say that this place is very mediocre in MY opinion. We were visiting for a wedding and this was the only place close by that my husband was in the mood for. I had the beef and Gyoza and he had the General chicken. I found the sauce for the beef was super salty and not enough. It was only based on the top and of course how can you go wrong with Gyoza. I think the Gyoza was my favorite part of my dish, besides the shrimp tempura as a appetizer. My husband of course, loved his dish because it was drenched in sauce, but did say that more rice was needed. I liked that the salad was also a side dish with our entree's but those little balls of rice was not enough for the amount of protein that was given to us. We both agreed that this place can be better if they change some things up and less salty. Maybe other customers love it, but those that are trying for the first time may not be able to take down so much sodium in one bite. Other than that, the service was really good and welcoming and I really appreciate that. But spending $50 here was not the take I was expecting here. And like I always say, don't knock it till you try it.

Wonderful family ran restaurant. They have the best chicken teriyaki from the sauce, to the texture, and tenderness. Along side is the best cooked steamed rice I have ever had. I always get the combination plate with their homemade gyoza (pork pot stickers), which are also the best I have ever had. And a surprisingly delectable salad with some of the best salad dressings. Sometimes I want a little more and I get the egg rolls which are also homemade and you guessed it, the best I've ever had. From what I see the locals love Lee's and so do I, but most people order carry out which is fine. I strongly encourage you to dine in to experience a very appeasing presentation of the food and wonderful service. Lastly the ambiance is nothing special but that how you know the food is gunna be good... ps. I'm the guy with the white 370z

Lees teriyaki is a staple for us. I love that they have a chicken breast option as I don't like dark meat. Their tofu is tasty, however I wish they had a non-fried option. There is plenty of seating. The restaurant is very clean and fresh. The staff is always friendly a quick service even during busy times.

    Hot and Y3. Pork Yakisoba

Ordered a hot and spicy chicken teriyaki (which is a 2 star at best) and it looks nothing like the pictures. The dish is literally 1/3 onions, 1/3 carrots and broccoli, and 1/3 chicken. Comes with basic rice that has been sitting around. Not impressed. If you like Teriyaki with onions and veggies you might like it. I prefer classic teriyaki with a stronger flavor and no onions/veggies.

It was basically dry, flavorless rice with soy sauce and almost nothing else in it. No egg, no peas, no green onion and barely any pork. Good pork fried rice should have diced BBQ pork, scrambled egg, green onion and vegetables throughout. It should have color and flavor and be good enough to eat as a meal by itself. This wasn't even close. The BBQ pork was dry and overcooked and didn't taste barbecued at all. It seemed more like pork cooked in an oven and dyed red on the outside. The sweet-and-sour was another disappointment: thick cornstarch-heavy sauce with only three or four pieces of pineapple. Good old-school sweet-and-sour also has things like bell pepper to give it some flavor, texture and color. Then there was the chow mein: diced white-meat chicken, celery and carrots swimming in thick cornstarch gravy, dumped over crunchy noodles that tasted like they came straight out of a plastic bag. What makes it frustrating is that I remember New Hing's being better years ago. They used to have sesame chicken wings that were a little expensive for what you got, but at least they were delicious. Those are gone now. The restaurant itself has been remodeled and looks much nicer, but I wish they had put the same effort into improving the food. After this many disappointing visits over this many years, I'm finally done giving New Hing's another chance.

It's a casual little spot where you order at the counter, grab a seat, and let the food do the talking. The decor is an eclectic mix of Minion collectibles and what I can only describe as "yard sale chic." Somehow, instead of feeling cluttered, it just feels comfortable. Judging by the steady stream of takeout orders while I was there, the locals have already figured out what matters. And what matters is the food. I stopped in for a casual business lunch and ordered the Kua Kai. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the chicken was tender, everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the presentation was honestly much more elegant than I expected from such an unassuming little restaurant. It looked like someone genuinely cared about what landed on the plate, and it tasted that way too The person I was having lunch with actually lives in the area but had never been there before. By the end of the meal, she was already talking about coming back. Is this your anniversary dinner destination? Probably not. But if you've been together long enough that neither of you feels the need to impress the other with fancy light fixtures and reclaimed barn wood, you're going to have a fantastic meal. For me, this is an easy recommendation. Great food, friendly service, and proof that sometimes the best restaurants spend a little less money decorating the shelves and a little more effort perfecting what's on the plate.
