Always stellar service and delicious high quality food. They have revamped their desserts which is great the mango and coconut sorbet are delightful and refreshing! Outdoor seating is a must in spring/summer.

I went to Lefkes on a Friday night and made reservations ahead of time as were a party of 13. As soon as we arrived, we were seated right away since our table was already ready, which made everything start off smoothly. This is a really good Greek restaurant with a fun, lively atmosphere. We ordered a variety of dishes mix between seafood, chicken and steak, and everything was very good. The portions were decently sized just enough to leave you full, but not quite enough for leftovers. We ordered a bottle and asked the waiter separately if it could come out with sparklers. There was a slight off vibe at first and some slight attitude but as the night went on, the sever became much friendlier and attentive. The music throughout dinner was great, and some Middle Eastern songs came on that were actually really fun to dance to. After we ate, the energy picked up even more and we were able to get up and start dancing. This is definitely a perfect birthday spot if you want a mix of good food and a fun night out. Overall, we had an amazing time, great vibes and great music.

Saturday night Birthday Celebration! I've been wanting to try the food at Lefkes for a while now and felt like it would be great for my husband's birthday dinner. My friends were seated promptly upon arrival due to having reservations. Once I arrived with my husband for his surprise birthday dinner our server Herbert was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and his recommendations were very helpful in choosing our apps and entrees. Since we were a party of 8 it was decided to choose several different apps and salads. All the food was absolutely amazing! The ambiance was great. They had a live DJ and a gentleman who walked around taking pictures. There were a few things that I wasn't fond of, the first thing was that they turned the lights down very low, second thing was that the guy who was taking pictures kept coming back to the table for more pictures which was a little annoying and the third was that our server although very funny and nice didn't get our food orders correct. I'm not sure if him not writing it down was the reason for that but that was upsetting because my husband didn't get what he ordered and it was his birthday dinner. Thank God we had great company and conversation so it wasn't a huge deal life has so many other things to focus on but a server should know with a party with more than 2 people you should write things down lol. The decor was stunning, they also have beautiful outdoor dining once weather permits and valet parking. This place is great for large dinner parties.

Had a BLAST going on Saturday at 9pm for a drink. Loved the mango habanero Smokey drink was absolutely delicious. Beautiful place and people! So many bdays with people celebrating and dressed up which was so festive! The DJ, live drummer, napkin throwing, smoke machine... had so much fun dancing my butt off for hours!! Cannot wait to come back! (DJ starts after 8pm. Super party time was I think after 11pm.)

What a beautiful place! I came here on a friend's recommendation, and I absolutely loved it. The service was fantastic; our waitress was kind and friendly. He recommended some great dishes, and the food was extremely delicious. The restaurant's interior is beautifully elegant. We chose to sit outside because the weather was sunny, and I really enjoyed it. There were some celebrations happening nearby, making it a lovely spot for a family dinner or a relaxing meal. They offer a variety of food options, some of which can be pricey, but they also have great deals during the week.

What can I say about Lefkes, except for this place is insane. I think Friday night and Saturday night they just go all out with a DJ and napkin throwing. The vibe is crazy. We also dined here and ordered the sushi...who would've thought that sushi at a Greek restaurant would be this good. Sushi seemed a bit pricey, but for the atmosphere totally worth it. Service matched the price and vibe. Exceptional. We also met the manager of Lefkis. She's also dope as hell too. She knows how to make customers feel they need to come back. We waited about an hour after our reservation time and she hooked us up. Definitely knows how to please customers to get repeat customers. Coming back any chance I get.

Enjoyed a nice dinner at Lefkes Estiatorio recently! The inside is very spacious with lots of seating on the first and second floor, including a bar section. The restaurant has a warm and elegant atmosphere. However, it doesn't encapsulate its Greek theme as you'd expect it to. Ambiance rate 6.5/10. They start the dinner with complimentary garlic bread paired with hummus and olives which were good. My family and I ordered... 1. Greek Spreads: Choice of 3: - Tarama: this delectable spread made of cured fish roe was my favorite! 10/10 - Tirokafteri: this dip had a nice creamy, and slightly spicy flavor. 7/10. - Skordalia: this potato garlic dip was average considering it lacked its garlic taste. 5/10. 2. Calamari: This appetizer tasted like your classic fried calamari, nothing special. Rate 7/10. 3. Lamb Shank: This dish was very delicious! The red wine sauce made the dish super flavorful! Plus, the meat was nice and tender! Rate 8/10. 4. Seafood Linguine: This entrée was incredible! The bisque sauce tasted very good! I wish they added more seafood though. Rate 8/10. 5. Primed Dry Aged NY Strip: This meal was practically perfect considering its mouthwatering flavor, tender meat, and that it was cooked to my liking! Rate 9/10. - this dish comes with lemon potatoes which were not too tasty if your not a lemon lover like myself 6. Truffle Fries: This side was great! It had a strong truffle flavor which I prefer! Rate 8/10. The service was relatively quick and the staff were nice. Service/staff rate 7/10. Overall, my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience here and would definitely recommend for others to try!

The food is good, I had a sushi roll with truffle, mayo. The drinks are very good service is good. Ambience is fine. They may get a party after 10 o'clock. But the crowd can get a little rude and rowdy. I recommend going before 10 o'clock unless you're looking for a wild night.

Visited Lefkes for happy hour on a Friday. We were seated quickly, but it turns out, the happy hour menu is only available in the bar area. This was annoying, but we moved to a table closer to the bar after some griping from the host. The waitstaff was friendly and accommodating otherwise. We ordered a meatball pizza, fries, rock shrimp, calamari, mini gyros, and the buffalo chicken souvlaki. They were all OK. Drinks were reasonably priced for happy hour. It's a nice restaurant, but the food wasn't anything I'd come back for. Only worth it for happy hour.

The ambiance here is lovely. It's a beautiful restaurant with great service. I do enjoy their appetizers more than the entrees. Last time I tried the beef gyros which were okay. My favorites are their calamari and sushi rolls.

Had an incredible lunch at Lefkes Estiatorio in Englewood Cliffs. The decor is absolutely beautiful and the atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, making it a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a great meal. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked tender, flavorful, and truly outstanding. The short ribs were just as impressive, rich and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We ended the meal with the orange cake, which was the perfect finish light, fragrant, and absolutely delicious. What made the experience even better was the exceptional service from James and Christol. They were attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the entire meal. Their professionalism and warmth elevated the whole experience. Highly recommend for a beautiful lunch with amazing food, a lovely atmosphere, and top-notch service! Evee and Harry

Tried Lulu for the first time on Saturday. Excellent experience…read more It was right before the staff showed up for dinner service, so only a couple of tables were occupied. The menu is simple, but covers everything we love. Server came by with warm, fresh, fluffy seasoned pita and a dish of seasoned olive oil. Great start. Started with Cheese Borek and Fried Liver cubes -- The Borek was the best we have had and we order that anytime we dine Mediterrean. The 4 Borek were fat, fried to perfection, and their filling of Feta and spinach was hot, melty and super tasty. We love love Fried Liver, and Lulu does it to perfection. The portion was huge, and dressed with red onion and lemon juice, it sang. We decided to split an order of Manti, those delightful tiny lamb dumplings tossed with burnt butter and garlic yogurt -- holy holy. We ran some liver around that sauce, and were glad we saved some of the bread to sop everything up. So good. Ordered the Kunefe, as we always do. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the table -- so if you are thinking about it, order it before they take your dinner plates away. The Kunefe was good. We think they forgot to add to the syrup it comes in -- but maybe that's the way they do it. It won't disappoint, but I missed that rosewater sugar syrup we are used to. Different places, different recipes. In all, Lulu did not disappoint and we look forward to visiting again. Go, go go. And tip your servers well.

4.5 stars Zula Grill…read morehad been on my list for a while, and it had apparently been on my brother's as well. So, when he recently suggested driving a good deal out of the way in order to sample their food for a takeout dinner, I still agreed. As he drove, I called to place our order for a large family gathering, and the woman on the phone did not miss a beat. She captured all of our requested items and customizations, ensuring that our meal arrived as expected. I should note that Zula required pre-payment for large orders to make sure that the food was collected. Agreeing to the lengthy excursion was not without its challenges, namely having to drive back with the heavenly food smells tantalizing us throughout the entire journey. When we arrived back at the house, other folks were still chatting, but I tore into the bag and tried to hand out the meals as quickly as I could in order to then indulge myself. My Chicken Breast Platter included the choice of two side dishes, one pita, and a small cup of tahini. In terms of the poultry, the two breasts were on the smaller size, but were lean, thinly-sliced, well-grilled, and flavorful. For the first side dish, I had the Israeli Salad, which was fresh, bright, and, thankfully, not too oniony. Secondly, the Moroccan carrots were a bit oily, but offered a nice heat and spice level. The fluffy pita was soft, gooey, and melt in your mouth tasty. In terms of the tahini, I opted for the standard variety, rather than the tahini amba with pickled mango. The traditional version was rich, thick, and acted as a great topping for the chicken and the pita. Lastly, I shared some of the large quart of Hummus, which was creamy, well-seasoned, and simply delicious. In fact, someone at the table thought it might have even been the best they had ever had, and I agree that it was certainly close! Everyone adored their menu items from Zula Grill, and we all agreed that we would definitely order from there again.

The menu is tantalizing and there's plenty of familiar favorites along with a few new-to-me items that the server readily described when I asked questions. This time, I tried the pargiot sandwich. I had no previous conception of 'pargiot' but another reviewer had sung praises about this wonderfully marinated chicken thigh meat. Having tried it, I'm not convinced it's blow-your-mind good, but it was decently flavorful and tender. You can customize the salad type that goes in your sandwich, and I chose the Israeli salad, a blend of tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions. Mine felt a touch overstuffed since it was harder to taste the chicken and made my pita soggy quicker than I would have thought, but it's hard for me to ding points for generous servings. Our server checked in on us regularly and even thought to inquire about any sesame allergies before setting down the tahini dip that comes with the welcome platter of bread. As the restaurant got full and our visit came up against a reservation, I appreciated how respectfully he asked for the table. Speaking of reservations, it might be a good idea to make one for your visit, especially if you're thinking of coming for dinner. My friend and I came on a random Tuesday afternoon and this space completely filled up. There are also some outside tables available for possible spillover seating, but if your heart is set on coming here, call ahead. Parking in Englewood is always tough, especially come mealtimes because there are so many restaurants here. Make sure you come laden with quarters for the older parking meters or have the ParkMobile app ready for the spots that allow mobile payment.
