We came here on a rainy Sunday for lunch. They had a wonderful outdoor patio area with some sitting spots and a flower booth perfect to take some nice pictures. Inside the restaurant, it was even more nicer, with modern cozy dining space and full service bar. We started with the grilled octopus that came with plenty of well cooked octopus pieces, with some delicious mix of onion, peppers and red wine vinaigrette. For entree, I ordered the braised lamb benedict, a rare dish I haven't seen anywhere else. It came with two pieces of bagel base, topped with decent tasting braised lamb and perfectly poached eggs. The side of salad and potato has were good too. I also got the Lefkes Shrimp Tempura roll, which was the best dish of the night for me. It was a big roll, filled with ingredients and topped with massage. The virgin mojito a tasty drink as well. The service was okay. Our waiter did his basic duties. The dishes seemed to be coming out slow, though were one of the only four parties in the restaurant. I went to Lefkes on a Friday night and made reservations ahead of time as were a party of 13. As soon as we arrived, we were seated right away since our table was already ready, which made everything start off smoothly. This is a really good Greek restaurant with a fun, lively atmosphere. We ordered a variety of dishes mix between seafood, chicken and steak, and everything was very good. The portions were decently sized just enough to leave you full, but not quite enough for leftovers. We ordered a bottle and asked the waiter separately if it could come out with sparklers. There was a slight off vibe at first and some slight attitude but as the night went on, the sever became much friendlier and attentive. The music throughout dinner was great, and some Middle Eastern songs came on that were actually really fun to dance to. After we ate, the energy picked up even more and we were able to get up and start dancing. This is definitely a perfect birthday spot if you want a mix of good food and a fun night out. Calamari: This appetizer tasted like your classic fried calamari, nothing special. Rate 7/10. 3. Lamb Shank: This dish was very delicious! The red wine sauce made the dish super flavorful! Saturday night Birthday Celebration! I've been wanting to try the food at Lefkes for a while now and felt like it would be great for my husband's birthday dinner. My friends were seated promptly upon arrival due to having reservations. Once I arrived with my husband for his surprise birthday dinner our server Herbert was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and his recommendations were very helpful in choosing our apps and entrees. Since we were a party of 8 it was decided to choose several different apps and salads. All the food was absolutely amazing! The ambiance was great. They had a live DJ and a gentleman who walked around taking pictures. There were a few things that I wasn't fond of, the first thing was that they turned the lights down very low, second thing was that the guy who was taking pictures kept coming back to the table for more pictures which was a little annoying and the third was that our server although very funny and nice didn't get our food orders correct. I'm not sure if him not writing it down was the reason for that but that was upsetting because my husband didn't get what he ordered and it was his birthday dinner. Thank God we had great company and conversation so it wasn't a huge deal life has so many other things to focus on but a server should know with a party with more than 2 people you should write things down lol. What can I say about Lefkes, except for this place is insane. I think Friday night and Saturday night they just go all out with a DJ and napkin throwing. The vibe is crazy. We also dined here and ordered the sushi...who would've thought that sushi at a Greek restaurant would be this good. Sushi seemed a bit pricey, but for the atmosphere totally worth it. Visited Lefkes for happy hour on a Friday. We were seated quickly, but it turns out, the happy hour menu is only available in the bar area. This was annoying, but we moved to a table closer to the bar after some griping from the host. The waitstaff was friendly and accommodating otherwise. We ordered a meatball pizza, fries, rock shrimp, calamari, mini gyros, and the buffalo chicken souvlaki. They were all OK. Drinks were reasonably priced for happy hour. Well after 3 years of weekly orders and visits - Lefkes managed to lose itself a customer tonight.  Food was 15 minutes late and rather than apologize to a waiting customer, co-owner Georgia Dumas, with all the grace and charm of bulldozer, decided to pick an argument about parking. At the instruction of the parking staff - when you pick up an order - they tell you to double park by the entrance. With the order being late I had to wait, and at some point was asked by the parking staff to move the car. On the way back in (waiting for the late food order) Georgia decided the right approach was to begin a monologue about the parked car without allowing me to speak.  To the other co-owners - this unhinged character should be locked away in the back of house far from any customers before she drives your entire clientele away. read more

Came here for lunch with some friends. We had a reservation and were seated right away. The service was excellent. Our server made recommendations, explained the best dishes in the menu, and even offered us cookies at the end of our meal. I ordered a burger and side salad with a drink. My first time at Lefkes and I was surprised by how big it was. The inside is lovely but gets loud on a Friday night so our party opted to sit in the tent where we were able to have a conversation and not yell due to the noise level. The menu was really interseting. When we sat down we were handed a few menus. One that really threw me was a full sushi menu, which I was not expecting at a Greek restaurant. The other menu had some Greek items but also some Italian (such as Risotto and Tiramisu). It really is a restaurant with multiple personalities. The group ordered the sampler plate which came with pita bread (which was warm). Our table ordered the greek salad, mushroom risotto and the cod. Everyone loved what they got. They lost my $300 jacket in coat check and refuse to pay me anything. On November 25, 2025 I went to Lefkes with my friend and we checked in our jackets at coat check. The girl at the front only gave us 1 ticket, and when I was time to collect our jackets, she only returned one of ours and lost mine. She did not take responsibility or any accountability for it, and nor did she apologize. I spoke to the manager Michael twice, who said the owner refuses to pay for my lost jacket and instead that I can use a $100 voucher at their restaurant. This is so offensive given the owner doesn't respect their customers. At such an expensive place like this, I would never expect to have lost my jacket. Ladies and gentleman, don't take your expensive items here because the girls at the front desk will "misplace" your goods and give them away to other people who are happy to take your stuff. My cousin decided to celebrate her birthday at Lefkes for Happy Hour and it was a great choice. The place is very spacious with indoor and outdoor seating options. The servers checked in on us frequently and made sure our glasses stayed full. The Happy Hour cocktails we tried were all really good and they also have a decent selection of beer. As for food, we ordered one of each appetizer on the Happy Hour list and then did a second round of our favorites. The Veggie Chips were fried perfectly, not too oily and paired extremely well with the tzatziki; we doubled up on those. I also really liked the Buffalo Souvlaki. It was cooked perfectly and the Buffalo sauce added a different flavor to the traditional dish. I feel like it's really easy to have overcooked, dried out souvlaki but that wasn't the case here. I thought the calamari was the best out of all dishes. Food rating would be 6/10 but I'll have to come back again to try their entrees! I thought the ambiance was really nice and it felt like I was in the city. Definitely make reservations for dinner on a weekend. This spot can be romantic for a date night...unless you're next to an obnoxious group. One thing that my friend and I noticed and that we didn't like- the tables were way too close to each other. It felt like we were eating dinner with the other two tables we were in between. Two tables away from us was a group of extremely rowdy, loud girls... they were so loud all the tables nearby could not hear each other talking. The hostess confirmed with manager and asked for me to not make any changes as she had made a note after getting approval from her manager for my party to be seated inside on the second floor. It would've have been best to not promise something and not deliver at the end. What an amazing start to my day. After going to the restaurant on March 7, the manager said "here's what I can do for you" as if I did not already went back and forth with a host on February 24. I believe we arrived at around 7:30pm. The waitress was rushed us ordering, and we were required to place our entire order at the same time. The table were placed so closely together it was difficult to get up from the seats to use the bathroom. While the food was good the portions were small for the price. The entire group of ladies were disappointed. The muisc was turned up so loud we could not even hear one another speak. Some guests traveled over an hour for a birthday dinner, only for us to be told upon arrival that there was no table available. We came here with our friends this past week, and wow--what an interesting spot. It's either like a restaurant that wants to be a nightclub or a nightclub that wants to be a restaurant. Or it's both? Either way, the space is ginormous and the restaurant (at least the inside part) was mostly empty when we were there. There's a huge fresh seafood area that makes for great entertainment for kids. Our server was very nice and did a great job, and all of us ordered from their "sunset menu," where you get an app, a main, and a dessert for $50. Not bad, all things considered, and portions were fair. For apps, we shared the spanakopita and the veggie chips, and the latter was remarkably delicious. The chips (zukes and eggplants) were so thinly sliced, and nice and crispy, and the tzatziki they were served with was a perfect cool accompaniment for dipping. The spanakopita was less impressive--a bit greasy and with random blocks of cheese in it. We tried our daughter's Greek salad, and it was good. For mains, the branzino was excellent; we loved the capers, and the side of potatoes were fine. The mushroom risotto was a hot mess, however. It was too wet, drowning in cream, and pretty lacking in mushroom flavor. A disappointment. We all got the desserts to share, and unfortunately nothing was outstanding. All of them were....good. The baklava and the orange cake rose slightly above the rest. Unacceptable Attitude from Front Staff - Phone & In-Person For such a well-known and highly rated restaurant, I expected a much better level of hospitality. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the very beginning both over the phone and in person. When calling to confirm a reservation, the receptionist was curt, dismissive, and acted as though basic questions were a nuisance. There was no warmth, no courtesy just an attitude that made me second-guess even showing up. When we arrived, the hostess mirrored that same energy: no greeting, no smile, and a clear annoyance with having to do her job. We were spoken to in a cold, borderline condescending tone, and it felt as though we were inconveniencing them just by being there. It's extremely disappointing that a place with such a strong reputation would allow their front-of-house team to behave this way. First impressions are everything, and between the phone call and the front desk interaction, this establishment failed miserably on the hospitality front. Until management addresses this, I won't be returning and certainly won't be recommending it to others. read more

I came here with my two friends for dinner on a Saturday night. We were seated right away which was a plus but our table was located in the corner in an area where people tend to wait for their reservation. As the night went on, they were basically standing all over us and bumping into us. I wish we were seated more inside the restaurant. The space is beautiful and has a great atmosphere so this was disappointing. The food was great!! We shared sushi and octopus for our apps and they were delicious. The sushi was so incredibly fresh! You can tell they put a lot of thought and care into it. For our entree we split an order of lamb chops with asparagus and lemon potatoes. We also paired this with the bone marrow butter. This was outstanding. The lamb was cooked perfectly and was sooo tender. We were all satisfied from this. The real let down was the service. No one told us about a table time limit when we sat down and our waitress told us there was no rush at all. After two hours, a manager came over and told us we had to leave. We just ordered more drinks and didn't even place the rest of our food order yet. After some back and forth, he allowed us to stay but gave us a "warning" that they won't accommodate us again like this. After we finished the last bite of our entrees, another manager came over and told us we need to leave. I was literally still chewing my food and we didn't even get the bill yet. She kept showing us an iPad of the next person that needed to sit at the table. When we received the bill, they added automatic gratuity even though there were only 3 of us. That was also not stated anywhere in the restaurant so I feel as if they did that on purpose. We finished our drinks in the bar area and as we were leaving about an hour later, I couldn't help but notice our table was EMPTY. It was never given to anyone once we paid and just had new place settings on top. That really bothered me since they were trying to make us feel guilty and rush us out. Also, the party atmosphere was a big let down. They boast about napkin throwing all over social media and that literally only happened once. She really wanted Mediterranean Food and the ambiance of being in Greece as that is a bucket list location for her. I used to frequent Lefkes regularly, spend a lot of money on drinks, and bring friends here often. That ended the night I was treated in a way that was not just unprofessional, but dangerous. Without any explanation, I was randomly approached by a bouncer and kicked out. No reason was given despite repeatedly asking. What followed was outrageous. I was forced outside into 30-degree freezing weather, wearing a dress, with a dead phone, and was refused re-entry to retrieve my jacket, locate my friends, or even CLOSE MY TAB. I was left alone outside, freezing, confused, and completely vulnerable. The bouncer refused to answer basic questions or explain why he wouldn't let me back inside. Other security staff told him he needed to let me get my jacket, even nudging him and warning him that he could get in trouble for how he was handling the situation. He still refused. This was clearly not policy--this was a power trip. Denying a paying customer the ability to close their tab and then abandoning them outside in freezing temperatures is reckless and unacceptable. This could have ended much worse. I would have continued coming back, but because of this bouncer, I no longer feel safe or comfortable returning. It's especially disappointing given how often I used to come here--and none of my friends have been back since. Lefkes should seriously reevaluate their security staff and management oversight. One person's behavior was allowed to erase years of loyal business. What happened was humiliating, unsafe, and completely unacceptable. read more

As soon as we walked in they told us there as a two hour limit on the table (never once mentioned on the phone and I spoke to them multiple times to make sure the night would be special.) they rushed us through the entire evening just to turn over the table as quickly as possible. We came to celebrate my husband's birthday, and instead we were rushed out like we were an inconvenience. Without even asking, they dropped the check on our table right after dinner. We weren't finished, and we politely explained to the manager that we still wanted to order dessert. His response? "The best I can do is give you a few extra minutes." Why? Because they "needed our table" for a party of 20. That is absolutely NOT my problem. If you overbook and can't handle your own crowds, don't take it out on paying customers. They literally moved us to a back room that looked like an unused office -- no other customers, no atmosphere, nothing. Completely unacceptable. And to make matters worse, the waitress came over multiple times with the check again as if we were about to walk out without paying. It was insulting. This was our first time dining here and it will absolutely be the last. It's very clear they only value regulars or people they know. If you're not one of them, prepare to be rushed, dismissed, and treated like you don't matter. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere that knows how to treat ALL guests with respect.
