I met the cutest golden retriever here today and took a picture of the owner wasn't too bad either ha ha. Everyone is super nice and it's a very lively place and the beer is great. I wish I could drink it but I'm gluten-free. They have delicious ciders and a full bar!

Met some friends for dinner, it's typical brewery seating- indoor & outdoor options. Tables and menus were pretty dirty but nothing abnormal for a brewery I guess. Food- man n cheese side ($5) for the baby was good! Decent size. I got the salad with chicken- not great. It was swimming in dressing. My husband got the crunchy burger and said it was 3.5/5. The fries on the side were pretty good, I liked the seasoning. We got loaded fries to share and the onion rings weren't good but the jalapeños on it were yummy, again though the burger sauce they put on the fries was overwhelming and they were drenched so the ones underneath got soggy. I also got a skinny margarita and it was OK, a bit on the sweet side. Overall 3.5/5

Nice setting, the wall rolls up like a garage door so it's indoor outdoor vibe. The food is good, the staff is nice, and they always have a great selection of cold beer. Nice to not have the same selection of taps over and over. Hope it stays around because it's a bar in Irvine and there's not many of them. It's typically busy so seems fairly popular.

Located in a strip mall next to Starbucks and sees candy this place is bigger than it looks inside with an outdoor patio and another room for drinking and eating Forgot to take pics of food but I had sliders both chicken and brisket and they were good along with roasted Brussels sprouts and Mac and cheese but I'm not a fan of Mac that's put into an oven with breading in top it dries it out The drinks were good the old fashioned was great and a blonde ale was tasty the mojito with guava was decent It's packed when i went so service can be slower at times but that's typical for a brewery so it's not a ding because they were friendly They have some tvs for games so has a bit of a sports bar vibe

Spent my most recent birthday here! I loved it here. We rented out an entire room inside the brewery. Everybody that came loved it here. Drinks were great and food was delicious too. Food and drinks came with the room we rented. This makes everything so much easier to plan since everything came with the package we bought. The only thing I had to do was bring my birthday cake! Also love their stout. I'd say that's their best beer. I won't be back here next year since I'm going to be in Vietnam for my next birthday. But after that, I wouldn't mind going back here for another birthday or celebration or even if I just want a drink after a long day.

Left Coast in Irvine remains our treasured local brewery. Big shout out to Margot - she's the absolute best. So sweet, fun and great customer service. We stopped in on a recent Friday and got a seat at the bar. Nice chill vibes and it wasn't too busy. We got our favorite hazy IPA - Offshore Haze. It's the best beer on the menu IMO. Rounded it out with a Voo Doo Stout, another excellent beer in their rotation. We got some of their food to go and I think it's better than ever. The cornbread was perfect, we also got the brisket burger, which is pretty big and filling for the price and it was cooked perfectly. We tried a new menu item - the cheesesteak - and my husband loved it. Great staff and great location, lucky to have it right in the middle of Irvine.

This is a great spot pretty close to where I live. One thing I love about this spot is that they have a full menu! Definitely hard to come by in a brewery setting. This time we came by just for a beer and to relax on Friday night. Service was quick and friendly. It can get a bit loud inside, but they have plenty of outdoor seating as well. I am a huge fan of the blood orange IPA!

Casual spot with student seating options inside and out. As the name suggests, beers are featured but you'll find options if you dont drink alcohol. It's family friendly too. We weren't the only party with adults and a team of young athletes. I was most excited about the burnt ends but they weren't ready during lunch so settled for the brisket sliders with side salad. Also got the house chips. Great portion but they were pretty greasy. The bacon mac and cheese and fried chicken sandwich were hits.

Not only is this a great brewery it is also a great place to have a meal! The burgers and sandwiches are HUGE. The beers are yummy and theres a huge variety of options, i got the blonde Marvel. We tried the chicken sandwich 9/10, the barbecue burger 10/10, the cornbread 7/10 and the mac n cheese 8/10. The prices are reasonable because the portions are huge. We asked for the fire pit to be lit just because i love fire pits and although it was such a silly suggestion because its a warm day they still did it and i do appreciate it very much.

If you're near the Great Park or UCI, Left Coast Brewing Co. is worth checking out. The vibe is super chill and family-friendly, and it's clear they take pride in both their food and beer. The service was great, both Matt & Margo were very helpful. We tried a few items and everything was satisfying, especially the fried chicken sandwich and their take on a classic Reuben. The portions are generous and the menu has something for everyone. Great spot to grab a drink, watch a game, or just enjoy a casual night out.

If you're looking for your new favorite neighborhood spot, this is it. Irene is hands down the most amazing bartender, creating specialty cocktails on a whim that somehow always turn out perfect. It's the kind of place where everyone who works there genuinely makes you feel welcome the second you walk in, and honestly, the entire crew behind the bar is better than what you will find anywhere else. The food is just as good. Try the cheeseburger, the giant pretzel, and the macgrom, trust me. And don't forget the fries. They have some of the best beers on tap with a huge variety to choose from, so there is always something new to try. With live music and trivia nights, it is the perfect spot to hang out, unwind, and have a great time.

    Matthew C.

This place mainly felt like a sit-down and chill with the homies type feel so it didn't bother me too much that the food was a little mid. The fries were soft and a lil soggy, not great texture. The chips were kinda bland and brittle. The chicken was good and juicy tbh, did an excellent job there. Onion rings were solid, held its shape and didn't fall apart. Ranch was pretty good too. Nothing too crazy, pretty decent food for a brewery. Didn't take a photo but the Blond (lager?) was fire

    Jeffrey L.

Beets were delicious. Food was fantastic. Live music vibes were awesome for a chill little thursday with the boys. Service was very quick and bartenders were all very nice! If you're around the area they also have trivia nights and cornhole tournaments! Only thing I noticed is one of the workers whi was bussing the tables was very violently pushing the tables and chairs together. I know the tables and chairs are heavy but they seemed frustrated. Hope they are okay. Other than that and the horrible parking, everything else is pretty solid! I loved the Raspberry Sour. They got somethin for everybody!

Do they have gluten free food options?

    Is it dog friendly?

Yes it is. Thanks for reaching out.

So no one answers the phone. Can we reserve a spot for a group of about 20 on Saturday night (9ish)?…

What is your name, phone and email? I will have our manager reach out to you.

Do you have happy hour? If so, what days?

We do not offer a happy hour. We keep our beer and spirit prices pretty low at all times to make up for that.

    Do you have trivia nights?

Yes we do. Every Wednesday night in Irvine from 7-9pm

Hi. It's the manager of 9R. Do I need a reservation for tonight for x-amount of my team and my members?

Hi Mary. My apologies for not seeing this sooner. I hope everything worked out. In the future we are first come first serve. No reservations. Thanks.

Do they still have their expanded patio? Hoping to sit outside👍🏻

Hi Alicia. We do have a patio but the extended version is no longer there. Plenty of room on our current patio. See you soon.

Are children allowed in, or is it 21 and over only?

Yes children are welcome. We are a restaurant as well. Thanks.

Do you guys have board games, can we bring something like cards against humanity?

We do have board games but yes you are welcome to bring cards against humanity.

    Do they also offer wine?

So, no, they don't have wine and I was disappointed, too, at first. The bartender was really good about explaining the taste of their beers and I said I was a wine drinker and they matched me up with some really delicious beers. Also, they have… Read more

Is there cornhole on the patio?

Not normally on the patio but we do have cornhole and it is either played in our private room or near the window in the dining room.

What time does the kitchen close?

We actually serve food until 11 as we have a laye night happy hour Sunday through Thursday from 8-11. On Friday and Saturday we close the kitchen at 9pm.

    Do they have trivia night?

Yes we do. On Tuesday nights beginning at 6pm and Saturday nights beginning at 7pm.

What are the vegan options (I see salads and fries)?

We have a smoked garbonzo bean kale salad. Just say no cheese. You are correct about fries. We also have onion rings and fried pickles. Both use a beer batter with no dairy. They are fried though in the same oil as meet products. When do you plan to… Read more

Is there a weekday happy hour?

No. I asked the same when I was there during typical HH hours and they said no and that their beers//drinks were priced well to begin with.

    Are dogs allowed?

Yes. Dogs are allowed on a leash.

    Do they have WiFi?

    Yes they do.

Do they have any Sour Beers on tap?

No sours on tap but our brewers choice beers are always changing!

This experience itself was unlike any other because as soon as my drink came out, it matched EXACTLY the drink I would normally order off a menu. There are preset cocktails to choose from as well but the drink made for me was so lovely. We were next met by Chef Jason who came by and spoke to us about his favorite items on the menu currently. He made suggestions of what to order, how he would pair items together, and even put in a few items to surprise us. I am so happy we had a moment to chat with chef because hearing the story behind the dishes, why he created them, and the inspiration he took from different cuisines was so unique. Many times, we get to enjoy delicious food but we rarely sit down with the chef to understand why it was created for us in the first place. Chef Jason is such a funny, entertaining, and personable man and made the entire dinner even more special. The IPAs were excellent -- fresh, flavorful, and well-crafted. Great variety, too. Whether you like something hazy and juicy or a more classic, hop-forward profile, they've got you covered. Everything I tried was balanced and easy to drink. The bartender was fantastic -- knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely engaging without being over the top. You can tell they care about what they're pouring and about the people sitting at the bar. The overall vibe is just right -- a chill environment where you can relax, have a real conversation, and enjoy quality beer without any pretense. I ended up having some great conversations with good people, which made the stop even better. If you're in Orange County and appreciate solid IPAs and a laid-back atmosphere, this place is absolutely worth a visit. I'll be back next time I'm in town.

"Busy weekend" said the bar keep. "No excuse for this. Total fail," thinks I. The guava beer was ok. Just ok. Apparently that's their best. Would be totally happy if a decent sports bar moved in here.

The rigatoni was ok, nothing surprising. The steak had a very strong wine glaze which was not our favorite. It was very busy when we got there but we were lucky to get a small table by a tree. All the servers seem to help all the tables so service was a bit chaotic as different servers asked us if we ordered already. Regardless, all of the servers were super kind. This restaurant only has outdoor seating area which creates a breezy and chill vibe when the weather is nice.

It seems like this spot is super popular for brunch drinks. Had the birria taco and this one was probably my favorite of the dishes tha we ordered. There is a crispy shell, two different sauces, and condiments to add with it. There is a lot of different textures and the meat was juicy. The smoked salmon flatbread wasn't as good, it looks very colorful and pretty, but I didnt think the flavors went together very well. I like the smokiness but the salmon wasn't umami enough to justify mixing in caviar and avocado and arugula that would normally pair well with beef. Finally, had the chicken tinga skillet, which had flavor in the sauce, but the chicken itself was just ok.
