I came to Legacy because it is close to my house and I was desperately in need of a pedicure. I usually drive out of my way to go to another spa, but their service was making it not worth the drive anymore, so I needed to find something closer. I went in on a Sunday afternoon and they were able to take me back right away. Its nothing too fancy inside, but nice and clean. I'm usually not into massage chairs because they are almost always broken but the chairs at Legacy were actually pretty nice and worked well. The woman working on my feet was pleasant and did a thorough job. The sugar scrub was nice, the massage was ok. She did a nice design on my toes which I always like. My only complaint is the price and lack of a la cart options. I don't usually care for the massage and sugar scrub, but I wanted my feet scraped so I had to choose the more expensive option that included this service. All together with the designs and tip I paid $45... At my old spa I got all of these services for $25. I may need to give my old place a third chance, but I will probably continue to come to Legacy for basic touch up pedis which look to run $15. read more

I went and this man did my nails,,, I asked for long coffin and when I went home, the sides were not straight and all curved up with bumps. He did take his time but he finished at around 10 and I told him I had a class at 11 and when he took me to the LED light desk, he went to talk to the other ladies and left me sitting there for AN HOUR. Plus the price was ridiculous. There use to be this Mexican young woman that worked there whom I loved and would do my nails but now that she's gone I went there once for my back to school nails and never again. Went to get a simple pedicure, and the nail tech did a horrible polish job and than when it was time to pay she told me the total and I advised her to run my card for the total and was like that is it, requesting a tip when the service wasn't good, got home and had to still scrub my feet and got polish change a week later at my routine nail shop. Also when I went to dry feet at station it wasn't even warm it was cold so feet didn't even dry well. Will never cheat on my nail girl again. read more

My bestie and me have been trying different places in south Phoenix to find which nail salon we like the best and went here based on someone's recommendation. Um, not again! The girls that work there are really nice and can hold a conversation in English but that's about it. The paint from our pedis chipped, mine the next day. And our nails started lifting not even a week later, I get hers lifting a bit since she works in healthcare, but I don't work and don't do anything where my nails would be lifting that quickly. We both got our brows waxed and since we spent more than $50 it was free but would gladly rather pay for it if they are going to do it right. Very bad service! Don't recommend what so ever, went in expecting a whole different style of nails and ended up with this... To start off this was $45. Was going to be $50 until the lady told him to charge me $45 b/c he literally messed up my nails from the start. Before starting I showed him a reference of a nail set that I wanted, had designs etc and he did the complete opposite.!! The design he did was trash didn't look like the pic I showed him and the rhinestones were cheap looking. Also he did his own freestyle. I told him he messed up what so ever when I realize it and he was going to restarted thankfully but I refused and told him to leave them clear. As you can see in the pic my nails are very bulky and the shape isn't what I asked for. In my opinion it should have been less for the fact that he MESSED UP & TOOK 3 HOURS AWAY from that day. This isn't the best nail salon I've ever been to, but it's a great spot that gets the job done. It says they are by appointment only, but I've walked in multiple times with no issue. The spa pedicure is $25 which includes a lotion and hot stone massage. They have a great color selection and polish lasts several weeks. read more

I've lived 2 minutes from legacy my whole life and been going for pedis and nails with my mother and 4 sisters. As a customer of 10 years (12 yrs old when I was allowed to have nails) I've watched the quality decline. I have found another nail salon that I love but legacy's close proximity is sometimes easier. I went in three weeks ago for sns dip and waited forever. When I finally got assigned a nail tech I knew he was not skilled. He over filed my nails to the point where it burned and I had to pull my hand back. I never received a sorry. He layered the sns powder so thick he spent over 20 minutes filing them down again. The end results was laughable and I noticed one nail in particular that had discoloration in the middle. A week later most of them had lifted but I tried my best re-gluing them back into place. Just today I decided to start pulling them off and was horrified when I noticed what was under the discolored nail. After having fake nails for almost 10 years in a row, this has NEVER happened to me. This is not a recurring issue. However, I am appalled. After researching, I learned that this if from dirty utensils and poor techniques. I also learned that I cannot have any product on the nail until this infection is gone. Perfect timing for an important ceremony I have in a week! Legacy has lost not only my business, but my sisters and mother as well. read more

I've been going there for YEARS but yesterday was my last time. I called to make an appointment with my nail guy and the owner (or whatever she is) told me to go in at 6pm. I told exactly what I needed. I get there at 5:55pm and sat there until 6:25pm. Finally "my guy" calls me and sits me at a different station other than his and leaves me soaking in acetone for another 25 mins. Then when he sent his client to go wash her hands, he comes over to me and starts taking the remainder melting acrylic off of my nails and says "one of the ladies will do your gel manicure bc I don't do that". Thank God the shaky lady was super nice otherwise I would lost my crap at how slow she was. I finally got out of there a little before 8pm. Never had it taken TWO HOURS for acrylic removal and a basic gel manicure especially when I had an appointment. NEVER AGAIN! read more

I arrived around 3pm before the evening rush. I was in and out in 45 mins including my wait time. $24 pedicure + $5 callus remover=$29 total. Not sure what nail polish they use but they provided a nice chart of color choices that you could put up against your skin. Really cute colors too. Massage chair worked great and I was able relax. read more

I asked for white and pink acrylic nails, and was seated immediately. I advised them it was for a wedding. During the process they kept asking me if I wanted other services and would show disappointment when I would say no. They again asked me if I wanted to get an eye brow wax and I said yes, and the guy announced it to the whole place "oh wow she said yes! She actually said yes to eyebrow wax". So then as we were moving on I noticed one of my nails was crooked, and I asked if he could fix it, he said yes I can fix that later don't worry about it now.. so I dropped it. Once my nails were complete they looked pretty good. Well the following day, once all was settled I began noticing how there were small bubbles in my nails, and the white and pink were not faded together properly making it look very blotchy and how the nails were chipping right and the top in my nails, so I call and ask them if I can come in right after work and get them fixed and they began questioning what was wrong and why wasn't happy. Moments later she said yes I can come back. Once I got there they grabbed my hands to look for these bubbles and took me back to the seating spot and began filing them down and re-glossing them. Bubbles were still there. And they didn't even bother trying to fix the other two problems. Not happy with this place and never coming back. Wish I could give zero stars. Terrible way of doing business! I do not mind waiting on a Saturday when I do not make an appointment. However when I have waited an hour, when I was quoted 15-20 mins, and once I do make it to a chair I am switched out for another person who also does not have an appointment but is going to be getting a service that cost more than mine. It is unacceptable. Especially when they post signs to clarify that they can refuse service to anyone as if they have ran into problems. I can see why. Not a place I would recommend. read more

I come to this place quite a bit but I'm gonna start seeking other options because it seems like the people here get even more rude. I walk in and the owner and her friend or employee were speaking in their language and I waited until they finished because it's rude to interrupt people when they're talking but then it's rude not to greet a potential customer. The girl that did my pedicure was rude as ever and I hate to stereotype people but it was necessary in this situation. She did a good job but was rude as hell. I didn't wanna give her a tip but luckily I came here right after church and the sermon stuck with me. Had this been a Saturday she wouldn't have received a dime. Wife gets pedicures here every month or so. Every now and then she drags me along for a foot scrub. Not a pedicure, mind you, just a manly procedure whereby all the dead skin and garbage on your feet from doing manly things is removed. Not a pedicure. They do a fantastic job and don't make it feel like you're getting a pedicure or make it uncomfortable in any way. I came in on November 2 I was told that she was no longer an employee so the owner did my gel manicure ......owner is a real jackass my left thumb bubbled I had to come back the following morning which they do not open until 11 o'clock..... which I clearly hadn't had a tooth and doing my nail repair he cut my finger said it was dry skin but there's clearly blood all over my finger...... just absolutely rude fir my experience with him..... read more

I called about waxing for my daughter, asked how much was told $15 after it was done the lady said that will be $20. I said I was told $15 on the phone so I get shown their sign that says $15+. Why didn't you say that on the dang phone then???!!! So second time I go in for a fill (which I usually get charged $30) that'll be $33 WTF why!? Did you have a nail fixed? NO! Took my 9 year old daughter here for a "date" on Sunday afternoon. I was impressed. It is not super fancy or sparkling clean but it was still decent. We were seated at 2pm on the massage chairs for a pedicure with our feet soaking in hot water. We were left there to chat and adjust the massage pressure/location for about 25 minutes. Then we got our pedicures including a little massage and hot rocks. My daughter even had big flowers painted on her toes. I think the cost is very reasonable. I was charged $17 for my daughter and $22 for myself. The lady did a wonderful job on the trimming of my nails and cleaning them up. I will be back. read more

This place consistently has SLOW service, but I end up here often because they stay open so late. They do a decent pedicure but skip any designs because the price will amp up to $30 really quickly and for me $30 is a bit high for feet! The workers here are friendly but they don't speak much English so I suggest you bring your own music or watch the one TV they have mounted in the back. First time at this salon and the reason I went to Legacy nails was because it was close to my house. Went in for a gel manicure and gel pedicure. LOVE my french pedicure, the guy that did it was great. He was suppose to do my gel mani ro but a customer came in and wanted him so had to give him up. Another friendly technician did my gel manicure, she was nice but I was not completely satisfied with my nails. I'm very picky and I told her to check corners which she did for most but there were still bumps on most of the nails that I got her to fix but still bot happy. Overall I gave 3 stars was because of my gel manicure. I was getting married tomorrow and I wanted it to look prefect for the big day. I will be returning but next time asking for the guy that did my pedicure to take care of me. read more

Service standard was cuticle etc but no callus clean. The guy who did my nails didn't satisfied me. The nails didn't paint straight and over the cuticle. If I could post zero stars I would. The nail techs don't communicate well at all. Wanted to charge me extra for removing gel after they already started removing it. The guy I had was lazy and did the bare minimum so I decided to downgrade my pedicure since we hadn't gotten to far and he wanted to charge extra again for scrubbing my feet which is standard for any pedicure. Terrible service. Also, they didn't use liners. Another nail tech was sitting in a pedicure chair barefoot with his feet on the spa tub. Very unsanitary and other spa tubs were dirty.
