    Dirty martini w side car

Legami: delvers ambiance just as good as their pasta! Love ordering their dirty martini w the side car (aka coupe of olives) to start off the evening. Our server was incredible - friendly, attentive, and let us know the HH special for our next visit. $1 oysters and $15 plate of pasta! Such a spot for girl dinner, group dinner, date night, etc. we love the patio, but upstairs is great as well!

My first experience with Legami was good albeit a bit different. I had called ahead to see if they were accepting walk ins to which they said yes and if we came in the next 30 minutes that would be nonissue. When my friend and I arrived 30 minutes later per their request, mentioning we were walk-ins, they appeared a bit confused wouldnt wouldn't sit us without making a last minute reservation. We waited a few extra minutes while they punched in our Resy info before seating us. Not knocking them for this, I just thought the whole thing was odd. We originally came in for restaurant week but opted to try their regular menu. Both my friend and I ordered the oxtail ragu that was delicious! I also ordered two oysters as an app, the focaccia, and we each had a martini. Our server was nice and on top of everything. Overall the prices are fair, the atmosphere warm and dark. I would recommend dressing up for this experience. While there were people in leggings and ugg slipper I would save those for something a little more casual.

Went there the other night with my girlfriend and had a great experience. We sat at the upstairs bar area which I would highly recommend. It felt lively but still intimate and was a great spot to settle in for the night. Food was excellent across the board. The scallop crudo was a standout and the duck was unreal. Honestly might be one of the best duck dishes I have ever had. Service was incredible without being over the top and the ambiance was spot on. Everything just clicked. Definitely a place I would go back to and recommend to friends.

First night we went we sat at the bar, had perfect cocktails best Negroni s ever. Bartender, Rogan was amazing. We shared ravioli, also fantastic, again some of the best. We had reservations for the next evening . We were seated and the restaurant is beautiful, it truly is. Our food was phenomenal.. pan seared perfectly over a corn purée. The lobster pasta was delicious. We also shared a burrata appetizer which was fantastic. The dessert, a puff pastry with chocolate was underwhelming. Our server, Naomi was super friendly and very celebratory with a birthday (there was a sweet card and she brought bubbles and limoncello with dessert. I am giving 4 stars not 5 because it seems there was a little misstep in the flow of everything, the timing of entrees, having to send a drink back.. just a few little things. Maybe they had a few people off that night. The food was incredible and we will be back!

Oh my goodness, this place was so good! I had the Roasted Chicken Agrodolce which was served over this sweet carrot crema. It was melt in your mouth good! My fiancé had the Pappardelle Al Ragu, he said the handmade noodles and sauce were to die for. We also enjoyed the Misticanza salad, but I thought the balsamic was a bit strong and the spiced honey ricotta packed a sweet heat punch to the Focaccia. I dont know if I would add on the ricotta again, I think focaccia is delicious on its own. We sat upstairs for dinner and it was a very romantic setting, but it was a bit loud in the room since there was a large table next to us, coupled with wood flooring. At times, I had to repeat myself to my partner across the table. However, I will say the service was great, our food came quickly and our server was knowledgeable on the food and changes they've made to the menu. I would definitely recommend this place to family + friends.

Legami is an incredibly cute spot. The vibe and decor is 10/10. I love the different indoor and outdoor space they offer. Came here with some girlfriends and sampled a good amount of food which was all yummy. Random but the chicken was amazing. Not something I typically order but soooo good. The drinks were okay probably would just stick to food next time. One thing to note is I ordered the hamachi crudo and was served tuna. Then was informed that they do this when they run out of yellowtail. Didn't appreciate this.

My fiancé and I were visiting Charleston and saw incredible reviews for Legami and were super excited to try it out! Atmosphere: the restaurant is super cute - great vibes! Very trendy and it was busy the entire time! Our waitress was awesome and super fun. Appetizer: we ended up getting the burrata appetizer and it was unreal. 10/10 would get again Main course: I ordered the ravioli and it wasn't anything spectacular, especially not for the price. I was expecting a super "wow" sauce and it sorta tasted like tomato paste. It wasn't bad by any means, I just think I expected more. They also ran out of lobster after we had ordered so my fiancé had to switch his meal.. but he ended up loving his food (I forget what he even got... oops) Overall, it was a nice place. But the ravioli was subpar compared to the rest of the meal and experience.

Legami is new to Charleston, so we had to give it a try. I love that they have a GF pasta option and their braised oxtail ragu was fantastic as a GF option. Their dirty martini needs some work. It was cloudy, or too dirty. We started with the burrata, which was good but not the usual burrata consistency. It was more like mozzarella. The octopus app was on the smaller size Justin called it "super skimpy". We did love the atmosphere and had a great server! Overall a fun experience with friends.

I can't believe Legami wasn't on my radar until recently! We had an incredible dinner with outstanding drinks. The Legami Martini truly made its mark with the burrata-stuffed olives. We tried the oysters, which were uniquely paired with pickled onions. The added crunch gave them an unexpected texture that actually worked surprisingly well together. The Shrimp Kataifi was another favorite. I had never had anything like it before, but I do wish the portion included more than three shrimp for the price. This was the best Gnocchi dish I've ever had. It was both creamy and flavorful. If Gnocchi isn't your style, I highly recommend the Pappardelle Al Ragu. Overall, it was a great dinner with exceptional service and beautiful presentation.

Such a great restaurant for dinner. We started out with burrata that came with unlimited focaccia. It was perfection. The pesto was super fresh. For our entrees we had the risotto al brasato and tagliolini lobster. The risotto was insane! So so good. The lobster was also very good, super tender. For dessert we had the creme brulee with vanilla ice cream. It wasn't anything worth raving about but everything else was perfection. The service was great and nice ambience.

We have been wanting to try Legami for a while now, we had heard so many good things and they did not disappoint. From the moment you walk in, everything looked amazing! They have 4 or more different experiences to eat in that can transport you straight to Italy! We sat upstairs in an indoor/outdoor area and the lighting was perfect! We got to really experience the menu with delicious cocktails and N.A. beverages along with their apps and pastas, everything was so delicious and I really recommend to order various dishes so you can share! The dessert was so light and airy and then to finish it off with a lemon cello was perfect! The service was also super on it and made sure we were good throughout the meal, I cannot recommend Legami enough for an awesome dinner or celebration, Ciao!

Came here for dinner and this establishment is quite new for the King Street area and I love the ambience of this place. Very inviting and chic! Our server was attentive and checked on our table often. For the food part, we started with the piattini, I really enjoyed the beef tartare but we also ordered the burrata and crispy polenta. For the piatti / main course I really enjoyed and truly recommend the fillet mignon alla Wellington and the king crab . The cocktails options were pretty scrumptious as well. I say yay for Legami! Go check them out!

Came here for a quick app and drink before a concert and the moody vibes were everything! We ordered the burrata which was yummy and the wine was good too. Our waiter was nice and everything came out fast. They even gave a happy birthday card to my friend, and all signed it - such a sweet touch!

We asked when we ordered about the flavor profile and supposedly it wasn't sweet, but all 3 of us agreed it was way oversweet. My black manhattan was phenomenal and my husband had a mocktail moscow mule that was awesome. It's exciting to make another major wedding decision and feel like we're getting closer to having everything come together. At the same time, I've been feeling a little uneasy about some of the budget conversations. Part of it is that I don't always feel like Olivia and I approach spending the same way. One thing that bothered me was that after deciding on Parcel 32, the conversation quickly shifted toward adding things like a photographer for the rehearsal dinner. My reaction was that we should wait until we understand the full wedding budget before making those decisions. There are still major unknowns, especially rentals, and I don't think we really know what the final numbers are going to look like. The same thing comes up with invitations. Olivia wants high end stationery and sees it as an important part of the wedding. I understand the perspective that it's our wedding and that it's a once in a lifetime event. But I also feel like I keep coming back to the budget while she keeps coming back to the experience. What makes me uncomfortable is treating money that appears to be left over in one category as money that's immediately available to spend somewhere else. In my mind, we don't know what we truly have left until the entire budget is finalized. Just because the rehearsal dinner comes in under budget doesn't necessarily mean we should immediately spend that difference somewhere else. Another thing that keeps coming back into my head is that Olivia makes very good money. She's probably making somewhere between $135,000 and $145,000 a year, which is objectively a strong income. So when I hear things like, "Maybe I need a second job to pay for that," my reaction is that a second job isn't really the issue. From my perspective, the issue is spending decisions. When I look at her financial situation, I don't see someone who has an income problem. I see someone who has made a series of expensive decisions that, when combined, created the situation she's in today. The apartment is one example. It was a really nice apartment, but given the amount of debt she already had, I don't think it was the most financially responsible choice. The rhinoplasty is another example. Whether it was personally important to her or not, it was still a major expense added on top of an already difficult financial situation. The dog is another one. I love Rio and I'm happy we have him, but realistically, a dog is another financial commitment that probably wasn't necessary at that point in time. Then there's the Jeep, which is probably the biggest example of all. Individually, each of these decisions can be justified. But when I step back and look at them together, I see a pattern of choosing things she wanted despite already carrying significant debt. That's what worries me. Not because of the wedding itself, but because I wonder whether that same pattern could show up later with vacations, kids, housing upgrades, or other major purchases. Maybe I'm overthinking it. Maybe wedding planning is making me more sensitive to these things. But I don't think my concern is really about invitations or photographers. I think it's about whether we fundamentally approach money differently. The reality is that our families are already spending roughly $225,000 on this wedding. That's an incredible amount of money, and I don't personally feel the need to push beyond that. I want us to have an amazing wedding, but I also want us to be disciplined and intentional about where the money goes. For now, I'm trying to separate what is a legitimate concern about long term financial compatibility from what is simply stress and uncertainty that comes with planning a large wedding.
