There's a few things I love about this place but let's focus on the main ones. The portions of meat are huge, like worth the money huge. The marbled beef is mine and my fiancée's favorite. there's a sauce i make with ponzu and soy sauce that pairs very well with the meat. The service: The service here is amazing. they're very attentive and they always check on you which is a big win for me the ice cream is super Good and i like getting it cause i can use the peanuts from the sauce bar to make a drumstick type flavor they have a fridge with fruits that i like grabbing from too and shrimp chips and sesame balls. all my favorites in one place definitely come visit because it's very worth it read more

Really tasty meats and love the conveyer belt veggies and seafood. Came for lunch and got the classic and it was excellent. The broths were good too. The herb one and the green pepper. Really liked the individual pots! Only downside was the service. There was only 1 person bussing all the tables, sitting guests, bringing out the meat and taking orders. That's too much work for just 1 person and also leads to delays for the customers, which can be frustrating. Minus 1 star for that. Would come back though. read more

A while back, I made a last-minute reservation here for my son's graduation with about 20 people. They were very accommodating and helpful when we showed up with all our guests. Everything went really smooth and the food was great! A lot of our family and friends had never been here before, and everyone really enjoyed the food. My friend recommended this place to me and mannnn was I disappointed. I took my parents here for dinner and the barbecue meat was NOT fresh at all. Most of them tasted like they were about to turn bad and it tasted funky. I understand they are mainly a hot pot place, but if you are also offering barbecue items (+$5 addition/person) then the items you are offering need to be fresh! I love that their prices are reasonable too and same as the ones we've gone to. We went on a Sunday for lunch. AYCE Hot Pot + BBQ Combo: $39.99 per person. Then discounts for seniors is $2 per person. Which is not really bad with all the varieties. You can have appetizers then desserts in the end. I love how spacious the place is and what's attracting is their wall has this different sea creatures like jellyfish and fishes etc. that comes from a digital projector. so cool! Legend is at the end of the strip mall complex in Newark, there are some many strip balls and restaurants in the area. My wife and I were in the area and felt hungry enough to eat AYCE hot pot. There were people inside when we were there, we got seated right away. We could get individual pots and choose our soups. You order different meats/proteins which they bring out in a timely manner and the meat and seafood was fresh, which is the main part of hot pot, having fresh ingredients. They have the conveyor belts that circle around different sections of the restaurant where you can grab plates of veggies, dumplings, noodles. It looks fun, and the staff in the back seem to regularity stock the belt and the belt cycles in a few minutes. There's also a sauce bar which has some cooked entries, there's also dessert and fruit. My mom is not a huge fan of hot pot: "why do I go out somewhere and pay to cook my own food?" If you feel that way you might not have a good time, but my wife and I seemed to like it. read more

They have complimentary boba and tea along with fruits but it's in the refrigerator, a lot of people didn't think it was free but it comes with the AYCE. Came back to try again, the food is not bad. We came on a week day and did the hot pot and bbq. They now have a snack bar with ice cream and drinks that is included with the all you can eat. The meat cuts were good, we mostly ate beef for hot pot but also got some pork for the bbq. You can order with the QR code but they prefer that you order with them. There were only 2 servers, short staffed as there were about 10 tables and they were pretty busy either cleaning the tables or having to take the meat orders. It would be nicer to order on the QR code so you don't have to call them to order meats but everything else in on the conveyor belts. read more

Service (5/5): very good and effective. There were two staffs who served in the front. Broth: We ordered tom yum broth and house special broth, both of them were very delicious. Though the house special one was little bit spicy for my sister. 2. Meat: we paid extra for USDA beef, $5/person. They were fresh and tender. But I don't recommend BBQ menu here, the meat was too salty and they only had few options. 3. This is my favorite local hotpot place. They have a great selection of meats, vegetables, hot foods, and a sauce bar. I especially love when they have their anniversary sale and lunch is only $19.99! I usually come for lunch, and May is a server who always remembers me and my brother's order before we even ask. She is one of the reasons we keep coming back because of her amazing customer service. Pretty unassuming from the outside and frigid on the inside, plenty of seating and multiple revolving belts with veggies, noodles, seafood, etc. We went with the Prime AYCE lunch option for $30/person just to try the different wagyu options. The faves were Australian and then American, but all the meats were fine. Love the extensive sauce bar and the hot food options! People LOVE the chicken wings especially when it's fresh and hot from the fryer. We also love a free soda refill. Service was managed by two staff during the lunch hour so it can be hard to order meats through them when it's busy. We'll definitely be coming back! read more

The good is the food, the broth was very flavorful. The add-ins plentiful and fresh. My complaint is that I have a medical issue that does not allow me to eat more than 2 or 3 mouthful of solid food at any meal. I am able to drink some of the broth. I always take home leftovers from restaurants, ALWAYS. When I went to ask for a container to take it home I was told I can't. It's their policy. At the bottom of the menu in very small print, "Only order what you can finish." I didn't see it. If I had been made aware of this I would not have eaten here. I wasted $30. I believe this may fall under an ADA violation, as this issue is part of my disability. I am very upset. read more

I genuinely think this is one of the most underrated all you can eat hot pot and grill spots in the area. I'm surprised it isn't talked about more because I was honestly really impressed during my visit! The biggest standout for me was the barbecue. The meats tasted noticeably different from other AYCE spots I've tried, and I'm almost certain it comes down to the marinade. The flavor was deeper and more balanced, and it didn't have that overly salty or generic taste that some AYCE places can have. Everything felt well seasoned and intentional, and you can really taste the difference. The meats were tender and cooked beautifully on the grill! The hot pot was also enjoyable and added another layer to the meal. We ordered both the tom yum and miso soup bases, which paired well with the ingredients we chose. There was also a good selection of sides and add ons that helped round out the whole experience so it didn't feel repetitive. It's on a conveyor belt too! Another thing I appreciated was the service. The employees were very nice and attentive, always checking in to make sure we had what we needed and clearing plates quickly so the table never felt crowded. With so many other hot pot places to go to, Legend finally got their food fresher, and added more fresh and different items to their hot and cold appetizer stations! Given the time we visited, we chose to ignore them. They have a sauce bar with all the different dipping sauces that you may need I particularly like to add garlic ponzu and chili oil. Also there is a hot bar with desserts, pastries, popcorn chicken, those little Sesame balls and what not. Next to it is a refrigerator with fresh fruits and cold jelly type of desserts and I believe there is also soft serve ice cream. As a water and ocean lover I really like the ambience of this place they have projectors of fish swimming around and that is super cool and relaxing. Back to the Hot Pot conveyor things they have all kinds of foods ranging from different types of tofus, tofu rolls, lots of seafood, ranging from crab legs, shrimp, mollusks, shelled shrimp as well, all kinds of greens ranging from dylan, baby bok choy, crown daisy, and then also lots of varieties of noodles like udon, instant ramen, yam noodles I think and some other things.
