Walked in here not knowing what to expect and ordered the 6 Piece fried veggie pot stickers. The pot stickers came fresh out of the oil piping hot and delicious. They were filled with veggies, various seasonings and what appeared to be angel noodles inside. Man they were good and I can't wait to return to try some soup. The establishment was fairly clean with good lighting. I will be back for sure.

A good hole in the wall place. I went there on a weekday evening after work with a few coworkers and got to try out their ramen. Service was good as the lady checked up on us a few times. Will probably try the Andy fries next time!

If you're looking for someplace that opens late with fast food service and huge portions then this is it!! Every single dish came out was huge enough to share with 3 other people. And the place serves beer. The price is decent compare to other Korean restaurants. This is more beer and food type of vibe so do not expect a 5star restaurant service and Michelin star chefs lol. The bibimbap was probably the best dish they had that night. We do come here often for midnight munchies. Get bibimbap and wings! Spacious but limited seats and weirdly not loud at all.

This restaurant is located inside a plaza that doesn't have a lot of foot traffic. I was amazed there were lots of eateries in this plaza. This was my first time here and I could see why they were so many mix reviews. The place was a bit run down and the food didn't taste authentic to me (well, it's called Sia Fusion after all). However, the price point and portion size were a great option for large parties. Out of all the entrees I ordered, the seafood omelet was the best. It was crispy and fluffy. The seafood udon sauce was too spicy and sweet. There was no burnt rice in the stone bibimbap and the beef was dry. Service was good considering there was only one person managing the floor.

Was craving Korean food and this place satisfied my craving. We ordered the Kimchi Fried Rice with Pork Belly, Kimchi Burrito with Bulgogi and 8pc of Chicken Wings (Sweet and Spicy and Soy Garlic). The kimchi fried rice was a 8/10. It was missing some flavor. I definitely tasted the kimchi but couldve used some sauce or salt. The pork belly meat was just okay, if I order this again I would opt for another meat. The kimchi burrito was so delicious! I give it a 10/10. From the bulgogi being perfectly cooked and seasoned, the kimchi and avocado, and the sauce was sweet and tangy. The chicken wings were probably my favorite thing here, 10/10. They were crispy and the sauces they use are just so good! I would eat these everyday if I could. Great spot for Korean food, although there was nobody else dining in when we walked in. Most people who came in ordered takeout. But if you're ever in the area, don't sleep on this restaurant!

The number of ratings and stars prompted me to try this place out. We came on a Saturday night. It was slow. Only 2 tables seated. The server wasn't rude but was just simply an order taker. The food was 50-50. - chicken wings - most normal thing -sea food pancake - this was good. - tofu soup with vegetables- nothing fancy nothing spectacular - chicken katsu - the chicken was so overfried that it was hard and difficult to cut into with a butter knife especially - galbi - this isn't the best galbi out there but it did job. Now, what was the most disappointing thing of all: the soup, katsu, and galbi came with white rice. The white rice was undercooked and hard. How does an Asian restaurant mess up rice? My son was pretty hungry after a basketball tournament. He ate a few pieces of galbi then asked to pack the rest to go so he could go home and eat it with microwaved rice. Overall, not impressed. Will not return. 2.5 stars

Can't go wrong with Sia Fusion, this was a place I frequented a lot in high school. Great food, portions, and they're open late! This is a go to spot when you need something to soak up the alcohol. The interior has remained consistent given the 5 year hiatus. Clean, black interior, easy to configure big parties or multiple small parties. The usual items I order are the Andy's fries or the Seoul burger. My friends typically got the other stuff but you can't go wrong with anything you order there. I'll always be stopping by here when I'm in the East Bay!

I can't believe I haven't written a review for Sia yet. It's been a staple in Newark for many years in which my husband has been going to since his college days, while I was introduced may be like 8-10 years ago. Over the years, Sia has gone through changes, but their food has remained fairly consistent. I've had their Seoul Burger, Andy's Fries, Kimchi Fried Rice, Bulgogi Kimchi Burrito, tacos, wings, and the list goes on. My go-to are the Andy's fries and their burritos, which I recommend trying! Sia is a place to go when you're craving late night munchies or want some snacks while drinking. Prices are fair, portion sizes are generous to share, and service has been friendly and efficient. Overall, a solid Korean fusion spot in the area!

Big portion for fair prices! The restaurant was clean and service was swift as we were the first diners of the day. The banchan could use some improvement--especially the fish cake which had a hint of freezer taste. However, the kimchi and seaweed salad made up for it! - Andy's Fries $14.99 (5/5): Their most popular dish for a reason! It was incredibly filling and delicious. - Fish Cake Soup $19.99 (4/5): We expected it being on a stick since that what was shown in the picture so we were a little disappointed by the false visuals. Despite that, it offered a variety of fish cake and a flavorful broth with a hint of spice from the jalapeños.

One of the few decent restaurants that are open very late at night, especially on weekday nights, Sia Fusion Eatery is a perfect late-night bite (or all-day munchie) restaurant. They serve mainly Korean favorites such as bibimbap and kimchi pancake, and Korean-fusion dishes including bulgogi tacos, as well as burgers, corn dogs, and other American classics. We ordered Andy's fries and Creamy Rose Ricecake, which I believe are very delicious. Andy's fries are like loaded fries but with bulgogi meat and topped with lots of cheese, making it a favorite appetizer of mine. The creamy rose ricecake was full of umami flavor, especially coming from the abundance of mushrooms. Its creamy sauce blends well with the ricecake - a very unique (at least for me) way of making a ricecake dish. The prices of their dishes are pretty average, maybe a little above average; however, the taste and flavor are very worth the price. In terms of customer service, they can be quite slow. I had to continually call the server to refill our cups and get the check. Otherwise, this restaurant will be one of my top choices if I am out late at night and need a delicious meal.

Korean fusion style restaurant in Newark that also sells hamburgers and Korean burritos. We met up here for a friends birthday and had a reservation for 4 at 7 on a Friday night. Located in a shopping plaza, parking is super easy. They were pretty busy, the sides/banchan are a little smaller. We ordered the army stew (buddae jiggae), seafood pancake, bulgogi fried rice, and Korean fried chicken (soy garlic and yuangmyeon). The portions were pretty big and we only had a little leftover. It wasn't bad but emphasis on the fusion. I prefer super traditional Korean meals but I've lived in Korea. Service was great and not too expensive.

Came here on a Saturday night for a party of 9 people and i didn't get a photo of everyone's food but definitely would come back here! No reservations but they were able to quickly put together tables for our group in the middle. Food arrived in a timely manner and everything tasted pretty good! The portions were enough where my bf and i definitely had leftovers for the next day. * Kimchi fried rice with beef short rib, stir-fried kimchi and fried egg on the top and one of us got spam for $18.99 each * Chicken katsu burger $18.99 x 4 * Andy's fries $15.99 * 14 chicken wings sweet & spicy and soy garlic $20.99 * Bibimbop with assorted vegetable and egg on the top $17.99 * Ox Bone Soup Beef bone broth with beef brisket $15.99 * Beef Short Rib Soup with green onion, glass noodle in clear beef broth $18.99

I've seen paint dry, glaciers melt, and toddlers grow up faster than our food arrived. When it finally did show up, the "katsu fish and chips" looked like someone raided last night's sashimi scraps, dunked them in a fryer, and hoped for the best. The portion was so tiny I wasn't sure if it was an appetizer or a prank. Flavor? Let's just say "questionable" is doing heavy lifting here. And because nothing says "classic fish and chips" like an identity crisis, it came with a chopped fruit salad. Bold choice. If you have kids, bring your own booster seat. Or a booster seat for your expectations. They don't have any high chairs, and apparently never thought anyone under 30 might try to dine there. The place was empty--like "abandoned warehouse" empty. Which raises the real question: how does this place stay in business? I'm convinced it's a front. For what, I don't know, but definitely not good food or service. In conclusion: if you want slow service, tiny weird fish, and fruit with your fried seafood while sitting in a restaurant that feels like a set for a crime drama, this is absolutely your spot.

Their dinner is now only prix fixe. My first impression was how elegant and modern the decor was. I made a reservation and was seated right away. Their brunch menu ranged from Japanese interpretations of American classics like chicken & waffle and eggs Benedict, to sushi dishes, to rice dishes, to sandos (sandwiches). We ordered a lot so that we could try a bit of everything. Our food came out quickly, and each plate was beautifully presented. While every dish was very tasty, none of the dishes really blew me away. Our server was efficient but didn't smile once. It's not that big a deal, but a little smile is very welcoming and makes a difference. However, Jose, who was preparing the food, brought a few of our dishes out and each time he gave us a huge smile. What we ordered: + Short rib rice teishoku set - Elegantly presented, this was our favorite. The short rib literally melts in your mouth. The soup had a deep fried tofu pocket floating on top. The salad was above average, and even the rice seemed special. + Chicken croffle toast - this was very good and much bigger than I expected. There was probably about 4-5 tender chicken thighs in a crunchy coating. It had the same flavor as karage. The croffle (croisant waffle) was ok, but not as good as waffle imo. + Chutoro (medium fat) tuna nigiri - a perfect bite. When I looked under the tuna, I only saw about a 1/2 a pinky size of rice, but that turned out to be the perfect ratio. + Mochi waffle - you get your choice of matcha or ube flavor. I chose matcha. This was very good, but didn't get a whole lot of matcha flavor. + Macaroni salad - the weakest dish. It just tasted like your typical macaroni salad. Overall, it's about 4.5 stars. The food, while very good, didn't blow me away as I would expect from an upscale place. However, the entire experience, atmosphere, and quick service bumped it up to 5 stars.
