We hosted our daughters graduation party on the covered outdoor deck at Legends and everyone had a great time! Service and warm, friendly atmosphere were top notch! Food was outstanding as usual...cheese curds and artichoke dip were delicious and the giant, warm pretzel with cheese sauce for dipping impressed both kids and adults alike. Salads are super fresh with crispy, chilled lettuce and the BBQ ribs are AMAZING! The staff and owners went out of their way to make our event run smoothly and even helped us play a video montage of pictures for guests to enjoy on the tv's on the deck. Thank you! Used to have an amazing fish fry and we went last night and oh boy had that changed.... Pulled up at 6:30 and we were the only ones there. That should have been a sign... completely dead on a Friday night... I got 3 bite size pieces of fish for $17. Potato pancakes tasted like French fries the fish had no flavor and neither did the clam chowder. Sad to say we won't be going back there again. read more

Nice atmosphere. Clean and friendly service. Lots of homemade options on the menu. I liked the homemade mashed potatoes, and the way the broccoli was cooked and seared with flavor - not bland at all. I ordered the broasted chicken which was on special. I rarely order broasted chicken when eating out but I was happy that theirs was very moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. Not too greasy either. The salad was fresh! Looking at their weekend menu that includes fish fry with homemade potato pancakes and prime rib I will absolutely be back when I'm in town. I was specifically looking for a place that was just outside downtown LG and this quaint location was a nice relaxing spot to enjoy dinner and some friendly chat with the nice staff. Wonderful spot! Wouldn't have opted to come here if not for the great reviews online. Walking in, my first impression was that it looked like an upscale bar, but don't let that fool you into thinking they don't take their food seriously--their menu is fantastic (in terms of variety of choice and quality) and a surprisingly good value. I got the swordfish and it was awesome! It came on a shish-kabob with grilled vegetables, a choice of potato or rice (I would highly suggest the wild rice), and dinner rolls and soup or salad are also included. The rest of my family either got a salad or the chicken and ribs combo. I will definitely be trying the chicken and ribs next time--I couldn't decide which was better between the two, but both were mouthwatering and so juicy and tender. Last but not least, the service staff were outstanding. Probably some of the best service we've ever received. They probably came to our table over 20 times to refill waters, get more drinks, ask how things were so far, etc. They were also extremely friendly and very willing to work with my lactose intolerance, which I really appreciated. For only being 7 months old, this place has got it figured out. Can't wait to come back again soon! read more

Unfortunately had to do only two stars for one reason only. Service was good food and drinks were good as well. Then the check came and they charge 4% for the privilege of paying my bill with a card. I am so sick of this nickel and dime crap. Just raise your prices if you can't handle cc fees. Also been there 4 times now and three have had falling down drunk people disturbing everyone. But again food and drinks were good and service was very friendly. Please don't charge extra fees so I can pay my bill just build everything into your food and beverage costs. Very friendly waitstaff and food came out fast and hot.I had the rib eye and it had a ton of flavor, my husband had the old timer Hamburg and it was very large, great taste, it had a bbq sauce on it he said it had a bourbon flavor to it. Wow.... a hidden treasure!!! Got in on a Saturday night and was amazed at the awesome ambience of the place. Beautiful comfortable decor and table set up. We were immediately shown to our table and given menus, water and a cocktail order taken! We ordered the special for Saturday and it was the Prime rib. Started with shrimp de Johnge which was great! I had a side salad which was anything but boring! My hubby had cream of asparagus soup! Devine! When our entrees came we were shocked at the size! Probably the best prime rib we have ever had! Done perfectly and included a baked potatoe and yummy steamed green beans!! An awesome meal I will be go back, probably next week to try the ribs. Exceptional service and a very attentive staff! So how does such a wonderful place exist in this area? Clearly the best value in the area. Portions are huge, quality is top notch, servers are the very best and the drinks are spot on. Don't see something on the menu just ask the server and they make it without an issue. The past chef was great. There's a new chef and they did not miss a beat. The atmosphere is lively and comfortable. You can also have a nice chat and do not have to yell. Classic drinks are made by one of the best bartenders in the area. Always the best. KC's is a short drive from Fontana, Williams Bay and downtown Lake Geneva. It's a relatively new establishment which I believe opened sometime in mid-2018. The inside has a rectangular bar on the right and tables on the left. It's small and intimate, yet loud so keep that in mind if you're looking for a quiet meal. They're always busy on the weekends even during the off season so I would recommend reservations on Friday and Saturday. The servers are nice and very attentive even when it's packed. I've been here twice and have had the broasted chicken and ribs combo both times which is very good. The menu selection isn't huge but there's a good variety and something for everyone. read more

Such a disappointment. Last time almost the same meal and it was great. This time, awful. Prime rib was chewy and tough. Beef brochettes one out of the four pieces was edible. ( we never had this one before) My son had the rib eye. And again tough. $29 00. Not cheap. I had this before in the summer and lt was great. I pointed out to the blonde hostess that is always there, and her response was "well he ate it didn't he?" OMG. Neither of us had eaten anything all day so we were starving. Her response was not acceptable and truly I was shocked. And he only ate 1/2 of it. At that point he was over the meal. Crab remoulade was yuck. It came in crab shells. My first bite I got a chunk of shell. Salmon was good. My dad liked his meal. 3 out of 4 entrees were bad. The last three times I was there it was great. It was my idea to go to this restaurant again. The attitude from my feedback to the owner on the meal was overwhelmingly disappointing. Again. The first couple times I came here it was great. The waitress we had did say they had complaints lately. Maybe a new chef? Hopefully they will go back to higher standards. read more

Cannot understand when you advertise happy hour on your website and customers come in during that time the waitstaff does not let you know about it. Had to ask. Had to ask about the 1/2 price appetizers. Then the bill comes and you were charged full price for the appetizers and it took 20 minutes to get the bill corrected. Through word-of-mouth we have been hearing about a restaurant that was started by the bartender from another popular restaurant. Finally we found it and it's amazing. The customer service and food is second to none. Not to mention he gutted and remodeled the entire building and it is Beautiful. Their specialty is the broasted chicken and ribs which they normally do not serve until after 4 o'clock but the chef prepared it for us and it was as delicious as we had heard. There is a dining area and a bar area so it accommodates everything from just have a quick drink to stay for dinner, plus a deck which will be wonderful during the summer. I'm torn giving it five stars and so much praise because once word gets out we may have trouble getting a table when we go back But it's too good to keep it a secret so we put it on YELP for everyone to Enjoy! read more

Our order was completely messed up. We dined inside. Chicken tenders for my child was completely raw. All of our fries were crunchy, and not cooked. The owner did take those things off the bill which I appreciated, but there was no excuse for raw tenders, and under cooked, crunchy fries. I did give them a second chance, and ordered about a month later. Food order was all messed up again, and food was extremely expensive for the quality you get. This is a newer place. Perhaps only months old but they are surely doing things right. Been there twice now. Super warm friendly welcome. They act as though you are a regular. Very clean looks like it was recently renovated INCLUDING bathrooms. We both had burgers and fries on both visits and they were delicious! Fries among the best I remember ever having. Service very friendly and responsive. Nice outside deck but due to hot weather we dined in. What a place to relax, chill and enjoy a summer afternoon a couple blocks from Lake Como.. Party of 4 went there last Saturday and were completely impressed with the food, service and very unique location and atmosphere. They have a tropical theme bar right next to their tavern and everything is new, bright,clean and happy!! We sat on their comfy outside deck on a gorgeous summers eve and ate prime rib, pastrami reuben and broasted chicken and ribs. Everything was just perfect with the classic Wisconsin Old Fashions and finished off with a amazing chocolate cheesecake. Service was spot on and friendly and we'll be back often. Tried it for the 1st time last night, because of the reviews and wanted to try the Thursday night BBQ Ribs Special. Was VERY impressed from the Martini's to the Crackers/Cheese to the Rib Dinner. The rack was longer than the plate and fall off the bone. Mashed Potatoes were Great and Sauteed Green Beans were Good as well. Homemade Cheesecake / Chocolate Martini for Dessert was Fantastic.
