I was not in a very good mood already walking out of a Sport Clips...I called Legends while waiting at previously mentioned establishment and asked how busy they were. Mike said 10 - 15 minutes...since the screen at the Sport Clips said 46 minutes again up for 20 since a hair cutter left, I figured I had little to lose. Waze got me to the general vicinity then wanted me to spin around 6 more times, get back on the highway, and smash into a tree but at least I found it. I walked in and no one said much...wasn't off to a great start. They did warm up to me in about 15 minutes. Luis asked what we were doing today. I told him what I wanted once and he did exactly what I said. One of the best haircuts I have ever had. High attention to detail and making sure no little hairs were missed. Best part, only $20. They also trim up beards or in my case, disgusting errant ear hair. The owner even gave me some restaurants to try out. Just go, you won't be disappointed. They make appointments too. Great neighborhood barbershop, where you can get a good fade with friendly professional service. They always greet you when you walk in and leave and you can choose to wait for your favorite barber or if you are in a hurry get it cut quicker when the next available chair opens up. I am completely disappointed in todays experience and cut with Jesse. I've never been to legends and was glad to see the reviews. I made an appointment. Jesse was so focused on training his new employee and the haircut in the chair next to me that he didn't hear what I said when I first sat down. I told him twice just to blend my sideburns. He didn't and it looks really bad. I was there for 50 minutes and he spent at least half of that time focused on the chair next to me. I'm sure that he's great when he focuses on one person, but that's not the service I received. I tipped out of courtesy but don't feel as though it was deserved. read more

It is always hard to move away from home and find places such as a barber to replace the one you've gone to for years. Well I stumbled upon this gem shortly after moving here and will not go to any other place. Michael the owner is a master barber and even tops my barber of 10 years. He is does to earth and very friendly. My other favorite barber is Andres. While he might only be 21-22, hands down is skills are on point. I am very impressed with him and how he can line up my beard. While both of them are my go too, the other barbers are equally as awesome, very friendly and everyone at Legends are down to earth. The shop is extremely clean. Plenty of big screen televisions and awesome music. I'd go here before ever going to a corporate place like Floyd's. I highly recommend coming here. This place is an amazing place!! And easy to find. I have never gotten a better haircut in my life. Mike has been cutting hair for a long time, and knows what he is doing, and he just recently opened up his shop!! He is very trustworthy and professionsal. This was the first time I've ever been to a barbershop and from the reviews I thought I would check this place out. Very glad I drove 10 miles to come here because it was worth the drive and price. Ever since a kid I've been going to chain hair salons such as great clips and have never really had an amazing haircut or a good experience where they just take their time and ask you throughout the process if you're liking your cut so far. I used to go to floyd's, what a joke these days, pay $20.00 for a five minute hair cut. Had one to many, faster is not always better. I can tell you. I drive from downtown to see Ben, because he takes his time and really cares about the outcome, me being happy about my cut. I went in for the first time as a walk-in. The shop had four barbers working at once. Waited for about a half hour, and the two barbers that were working in front of me showed great care and precision in their work. During this time the barber at end of the shop near the entrance went through two clients in the time the barbers in front of me had yet to finish their first. The barber at end finishes second customer and I climb into his chair. My haircut is very simplistic, but he makes a few passes with his trimmer and is done. He does not check for any varying lengths or give a haircut worth the cost of this shop. As I get home I notice several patches of uncut hairs, and had to trim them myself. If you want someone you can trust to cut hair, this is the place! I'm not sure if it is really bad luck or the lack of supervision on the part of city licensing commission, but 8 out of 10 people I hire to cut my hair straight suck. I'm being polite, because I know how sensitive I am, lol. These guys or shall I say the owner doesn't flinch when I mention what I need done and he doesn't finish till it is perfect.
