We were quiet and nice, kids went to take a candy twice and then she became furious and told me to take kids outside, just because they took candy, but started saying it dangerous, your kids not allowed being here, wait outside and then she called my stylist and told us to leave because I didn't want to take little kids on the heat and where's cars driving around non stop - this is dangerous! I feel discriminated, my kids was quiet and sitting nicely waiting for the stylist who was late on 30 minutes. After all and waiting for the stylist, my kids wasn't allowed to get haircuts there and we had to leave. I know she's going to respond this message and protect herself and her business but she was rude, she also has kids but was terrible with clients kids. Updating because I got threatened with the court if I don't delete this review, but this is honest review of what happened to me and my kids, that's what I felt because of the way she was talking to me that day.

First of all, she is warm and friendly so you feel comfortable and relaxed...and she is really funny so you will have fun as icing on the cake. She is so experienced and talented you can confidently put yourself in her capable hands. Styles, cuts and color... she does magic. And she gets it right because she LISTENS! She will always give you her expert opinion and then does exactly as you ask. She keeps up with all the latest techniques, equipment, and products to help you nourish you hair and keep it healthy. She keeps meticulous notes on all her clients so she knows exactly "what you had last time!" I would like to clarify a comment left by Kim W. This statement is not completely accurate. Legends Ladera Salon has no record of Kim W. ever coming in to our salon or having an appointment with Dana. We did however have a Dorothy D. request to make an appointment with the "owner" who does not cut short hair. Dorothy has very short hair. This is not discrimination, its honesty. Dorothy nor Kim W have ever met, seen or talked to Dana and we have asked her to edit this information several times to be a true statement. Dorothy did not want her hair washed or styled due to a injury, she just wanted it cut by a "Toni and Guy" Stylist which Leah is. Leah is also an educator and has been for years. Again the information stated by Kim W is not true when she stated she did research on Leah. Dorothy told Leah how to cut her hair and even tried grabbing the scissors from her hands several times, which other stylist and clients witnessed. Dorothy was refunded her money and we feel we did everything to accommodate her. read more

I've been wanting to post about this place for a while, but for the life of me, I couldn't remember the name of the girl that jacked up my hair. I was doing an audit of my Venmo account today and I found her name- Jessica Breuklander . On my first visit she totally jacked up my color leaving me with brassy highlights. When I called to let her know how disappointed I was, she invited me back to "correct" the color. I just about died when she charged me again. I was too embarrassed to say anything, and I didn't want to go to her manager because we both attend the same church. I should've said something right there. Two days later, I washed my hair, and I realized she once again turned it orange. I texted her, and her reply was "hmmm, I don't know why that happens." Kaley did a great job with my sons hair. Original my husband took our son in and when he came home although the haircut was lovely it was way to long. ( I think this was miscommunication on my husband and sons part) ..My son has very long hair and desperately needed a good cut. Legends Ladera is the only salon I would ever consider for my color and cuts! Jessica is great with color - she will give you her professional opinion, and she knows what works! Her haircuts look great when you leave the salon, but they grow out beautifully and seem to last longer than other cuts I've had. She can also give suggestions for buying the right product for your hair - they sell Kerastase - a little expensive but worth every penny! I was surprised to find out the salon is open every day of the week, and some stylists are there very early in the morning or very late in the evening, which is great if you have a busy schedule :) read more

I have been going to Stacey in this salon for over a year and she has transformed my hair. My color snd cut were both in need of change and with TKC my hair went from a damaged mess to silky, shiny, thick hair. The products used by the salon are high quality and available for purchase there in the salon. I have never received more compliments on my hair than I do now.. it's continuous.
