Iv been going to Marisa for about a year now and I love going to her. She's awesome at blondes and I'm super picky about anyone touching my hair. The salon isn't a stuffy salon like the ladera image. Marissa is very skilled at what she does and I get in and I'm out. She never tells me no and just always leaves me happy. I also love to come in and talk to Michele her neighbor stylist who is super friendly and outgoing. AWFUL experience!! Jayme Butcher ruined mine and my 18 year old step-daughters hair TWICE! I wanted to give her a second chance to fix it. My blond partial highlights look blue and my daughter has a bob because she damaged so much hair. I hate being negative but I have to report her because of the cruel attitude she gave us when we were so unhappy. She made several comments about us being too picky and not patient because our hair will grow again. She said all hairdressers have bad days. She told my daughter she was unhappily married and stressed. So not appropriate!! Anyways, this women needs more time at beauty school and also with customer service. She didn't refund us anything and said a discount next time. There won't be a next time. Our hair looks awful and we will wear hats for awhile but her cruel treatment will never be forgotten. Big fan of the service I received and the staff! Plenty of parking and easy to locate. The Salon is very clean and professional. Front desk resceoptionist greated me and offered me a coffee, tea or water while I waited. But there wasn't enough time! Lo was ready for me when I walked in. I've been to WAY too many stylists that leave you waiting because they have overbooked themselves and they end up taking up your schedule. I really appreciated that she was ready to take me right back. Her station was all set up and we started our consultation. She offered me her professional opinion and we talked through a few of my hair disasters in the past and she assured me we wouldn't be headed down that road again! And we didn't! She gave me beautiful butter blonde highlights and had enough time to add in a quick hair cut and have me styled and fabulous for my night out! She also took my credit card, which was great because I didn't end up bringing enough cash for the added on hair cut. I am very pleased with my service and have rebooked for 6 weeks. Also, the Salon was up beat and professional, coffee service in the back, clean restrooms, friendly staff, good music playing and they used great hair products on me and offer a big selection that they can help you sort through to find the right products for you. The other stylists walked by and complimented my color and were super friendly as well. I'm glad I found Legends Ladera. It's stressful to try a new stylist and I'm glad won't have to do that again! I found this salon randomly because I really couldn't stand the sight of my roots anymore and needed to get them done ASAP. I looked up "hair salon" on yelp near my location and this one came up. I called on a Sunday around 10:30 am and was able to get an appointment that same day at 12:00......great!! I was booked with Natalie. I told her i wanted to be really blonde, and she made it happen! I loved how my hair turned out the first time so I just went back to her recently for more highlights and I am even more blonde..perfect! It also looks natural and not over processed. She knows exactly how long to let the foils stay on. Natalie only works on Sundays and Mondays but I highly recommend booking an appointment with her for highlights or any kind of color! She does a great job, is fun to talk to, and the salon is super cheery and welcoming. I'm glad I found this place because it's close to my house, convenient days and hours, and I found a hairdresser who does my hair exactly how I like it. read more

Go to Jessica for color and extensions!!!!!! She has taken me from brunette, to blonde, back to my natural brunette and always does an amazing job! I also had her do ombre on me a couple years ago and it was perfect! I finally decided to get extensions last year and couldn't be happier! They make my fine hair look really full and hold curl. I also used Mishel to do hair for my wedding and it looked absolutely beautiful! I got so many compliments and could not have been happier. So I started coming here because Taylor moved from his old place and started doing hair here. First off let me talk about the Salon. It is super nice. It is a minimalistic feel to it which is perfect. The reason why it's perfect is it enables people to communicate with each other. Every time I walk in there, clients are chatting with their stylists, each other and stuff. It is an awesome atmosphere. Secondly all of the stylists there seem to be legit and care about their clients. I only come to see Taylor but today two additional stylists came over, introduced themselves and actually helped Taylor color my hair. All these people work for themselves so to see the level of professionalism and help with one another was absolutely fantastic. Now to about my haircut. I have been going to Taylor for about 2 years and I will NEVER see anyone else if I can help it. Gentlemen, he only does men's hair so he knows his sh*t. Not only does he do a job he is constantly doing more education to keep up with current trends and new ways to do hair. I can't say I've ever had anyone do that before. Not only does he do a phenomenal job, but he is the most personable person you can ever talk to. Not only does he talk to you about your life, he talks about his but he also cares about you as a client. I usually see him every 4-5 weeks but after a period of 8 weeks when I didn't see him (due to a medical condition) he called me just to make sure I was okay. He wasn't doing it because "he lost a client" he did it because he knew I was having medical issues and was making sure I was okay. He's no longer just my stylist but a friend. And gentleman, his prices are extremely reasonable and I will guarantee you will be astounded by your cut or whatever else you want done. To make a long story short. The salon is awesome. The professionalism and care I have seen from every stylist working there is beyond expectations and Taylor himself his a stud. You won't be disappointed by seeing him. Christian is absolutely fabulous. After one visit I knew I had a new stylist. I came back a few weeks later for some color and put my complete trust in him. I called Legends Ladera Salon last minute and Madyson was more than happy to take me, regardless of her jam packed schedule. I came in due to a partial color correction (had subtle highlights that I really wanted to get rid of). Madyson was very knowledgeable and gave me the best option between keeping the integrity of my hair and giving me back my natural hair color from the shades it was lifted to. Since my highlights were pretty light, after a couple of washes, the toner option we went with didn't exactly give my hair the coverage I was initially hoping for, but I personally reached out to Madyson and she took a second shot in giving me what I was intending for free of charge. I am so happy with how my hair turned out and I can't wait to come back for a trim or a deep conditioning treatment. Overall, my experience at this salon was phenomenal.
