No matter how much prep you do for your vehicle you always forget something for me it was brakes. Specifically my rear brakes and an oil change. Working a 6/10 schedule and only having Sundays off isn't conducive to getting work down on your car. But I called peak performance and talked to Vince. We scheduled the appointment ahead a few days and I was able to get my car in. Their technicians knocked out the short laundry list of stuff on my car quickly and at a good price. I didn't lose my transportation for more than a couple hours and they even told me about a future problem they'd be happy to take care of another day. It's always a gamble on the road finding a good reputable shop with good customer service and quality techs. Peak performance is one of those good shops.

Ryan messaged me back within 5 minutes of my inquiry asking to call for a consultation. We messaged back and forth and I was quoted a reasonable amount initially. I was able to drive over to the shop within 30 minutes of our consultation. When I arrived, Ryan greeted me and showed me where to drive my car. He is so personable and friendly and truly wants his customers to understand what services need done ASAP and which ones can wait until/before inspection. I opted for some additional filter replacements because he showed me the physical filters and explained why they were bad. He let me know my car most likely needed some additional services that would be needed to pass inspection and let me know it didn't need to be done today. He let me know how much those services would cost parts and labor wise, but he also let me know the time needed to repair that service as well. Marty, the mechanic working on my car, did not wait to begin working and checking for additional issues once it was lifted. He was extremely quick and knowledgeable. He is extremely communicative and overall from the initial consultation to the end result, I was only out about 3 hours (our chat, the drive, and the service itself). I will be screaming about Keyes from the rooftops and recommending every family member and friend to come to them for any car issues. Thank you again! Cannot recommend them enough. Short story is that I paid $160 for a diagnosis, the "Sales Adviser" (how about "service" rather…read morethan "sales") recommended something for $2k that was unnecessary - no thanks - problem not resolved, and wanted another $100 for further diagnosis - no thanks. The long story is engine misfiring, paid $160 for diagnosis. Kink in the vacuum hose (couldn't have taken too long to spot), but "Sales Advisor" recommends I also replace all ignition coils for $2k. What? Huh? Are they bad? They don't know, they only checked one of them and it was fine, but what's $2k, right? No thanks, I'll pass on that "sale". Replaced vacuum hose for another $300. But one cylinder is still misfiring. They want another $100 for further diagnosis. I expected that the $160 (not a cheap diagnosis price) would cover a full diagnosis, not a first pass diagnosis. I declined. I'd rather take my car to a place that does what is agreed upon and doesn't have a "Sales Adviser" who tries to sell me unnecessary things.
