I have recently tried their lattes and it was decent. I also had their Turkey & Cranberry Panini, which I enjoyed. Their muffins and Vegan Brownies are great too, so I highly recommend trying them. This is the best coffee shop in Mission. I hope to come back to The Penny soon.

It is CUTE in here! Feels like a modern Parisian bakery. There were plenty of people sitting and enjoying their desserts with a glass of bubbly. It felt like I stepped into a whole new world. The women working were DOLLS! So sweet. I could tell they had the ordering counter down to a science and were super efficient while still being friendly and spending time with each customer. The gluten free carrot cake was decadent and flavorful. The creme brule was lovely. The caramel bar (not gluten free) was reported to be quite good as well. I can't wait to come back!

We stumbled across crèmecart at the Saturday Farmers' Market on Orcas Island. The two ladies who run the crèmecart, Michelle and Sommer, sound like they are regulars at the Saturday Farmers' Market, and other island locations as well. They rotate many cool ice cream flavors and cookie combinations. Their crèmecart Facebook page listed many enticing flavors, including: butter cookie and strawberry cheesecake ice cream; dark chocolate cookie and ginger ice cream; chocolate cookie with: salted caramel ice cream or coconut ice cream or chocolate ice cream; lemon cookie with: lavender ice cream or vanilla ice cream; gluten free almond cookie with vanilla or chocolate ice cream; and on July 4th, Apple Pie Ice Cream Sandies. How fun is that? So, like any food cart, crèmecart is seasonal, and moves around following the crowds. Thankfully, Orcas is a small island, and I promise you, they are worth searching for! The bars come as milk or dark chocolate with dried fruits and nuts pressed into them or just nuts or biscuit pearls or are sprinkled with sea salt. As someone who cannot digest dairy, it was wonderful to see that the dark chocolate bars are vegan and contain no dairy. We also had a chance to chat with the friendly owner and it was a great experience. A few weeks ago we visited Squamish again and were happy to see that the chocolate bars still look amazing. We bought a bunch of bars and now have a decent stash to last for a while and to give as gifts. Though it's hard to moderate when the bars taste so good. Thank you, Xoco Chocolate!

The dark chocolate bars with roasted nuts and dried fruits is one of favorites. The quality of the dark chocolate is very good and the bars taste as good as they look. The dark chocolate is vegan. It's a cute shop and the owner and staff are great. They also have milk chocolate bars and beautiful chocolate confections. We're dark chocolate fans so we haven't tried them. We stop every time we're up that way.
