Located near Target in Maryville, TN is a small building with a full parking lot. And la lot of to-go orders. We tried this place out on a whim and it's quite small and enjoyable. The menu is rather small. They offer Thai food and sushi. So if you don't like those two items - this place won't be for you. We opted for sushi when we went. Rolls are mostly small in size and expensive compared to others. The service was great. Staff was friendly. Portions of Thai food looked rather large.

Came for lunch and had the panang chicken curry, one of my favorites. Servers were friendly and prompt as always. Flavors were spot on and it was delicious. My only criticism would be the chicken to peppers ratio. I dare say, this was less than a 3oz protein portion. I should probably shut up and be on my way because my fat ass doesn't need to leave with a full belly anyway.

The sushi was delicious. The dumplings were fantastic. The pad Thai and spicy basil dish not so much. The service was great and the restaurant cute. But if you are used to spicy Thai just go for the sushi.

First time visiting this joint. Unfortunately, this establishment was hands down one of the worst dine in places we have eaten at in a long time. First our waiter was George L and he lacked personality and friendliness, he was just there and occasionally rude. It was almost like we were a bother to him by even showing up. In fact after being greeted by him we should have just got up and left because he set the mood for the experience. The two rolls ordered were fine and so was the spicy red curry, we subbed tofu and it was nothing to complain about, but unfortunately, we have had way better so nothing to brag about. The teriyaki chicken was very odd, it was very flavorless with its chewy, boiled chicken and very watery teriyaki sauce definitely not like any dish we have ever tasted. Same can be said with the spicy squid. It was very chewy, overcooked and the dish as a whole was pretty flavorless. Last is the red curry duck, this was very chewy, almost to the point of being not eatable, which means it was over cooked and once again flavorless.

What a great spot in Maryville for some Thai food. Dining area is small and quiet. You can hear everyone's conversation. the food is good. Our service was really quick. I had the pad se eu with medium spice and it had a kick! Wasn't enough to take the flavor away but enough to clear the sinuses. Noodles were cooked perfectly. Parking is super tight and can fill up quickly and so can the restaurant. Reservations would be helpful for larger parties.

Arrived at the heart of the lunch hour. Restaurant was filled with hungry customers. I was concerned there may be a wait. However, my husband and I was seated quickly and our server was prompt with taking our drink order. I decided on the lunch box special, which consisted of soup, salad, California rolls, steamed rice and sauteed chicken in a curry sauce, which was quite tasty and delicious. My husband chose fried rice with shrimp, his go-to meal at all Asian inspired restaurants. Our sever, checked in on our needs both during the meal and afterwards. I found the service and meal both satisfying.

I got sarong shrimp and ka-proud lamb. Sarong shrimp is just ok, tiny shrimp, nothing special. The Lamb, was really good, i love how juicy and soft the lamb chop was, the sauce has chunk of bell pepper and mushroom and basil to enhance the flavor. You should add some soy sauce if you are a salty-eater like me. I think if they can season the lamb a bit longer then have more flavor in it, will be even better. This dish comes with rice. I tried the roti with blackberry for dessert. Its roti with condense milk and blackberry jam. Good to finish up! Servers are friendly and i got sit very fast. Thank you!!

Not bad food. Nothing extra special either. Service was good. Would eat there again, but not go out of my way to do so.

Almost gave it a 3 star! Food was delicious! However the grass was simply not as good in their flower beds as it was in the restaurant.

My first review for my hobby: Bert's Feast or Flop, where I review my experiences with restaurants…read moreand fast food places to determine whether they are a FEAST or a FLOP. I wanted to start with Thai Cuisine in Maryville because this place deserves more business. Food: 5/5 The food tastes amazing! Everything was cooked perfectly, tasted fresh and you can tell it was made by a chef who truly cares about their cooking. The portion sizes and presentation were excellent and very filling. This was my first time ever trying curry, and I was extremely impressed -- I loved every bite. If you're ever curious about trying curry, get the Yellow Curry. The spice levels range from 1-5, and I got level 2. It had great heat without overpowering the flavors. I also had a bite of my mother's Tornado Shrimp, and it was fried and sauced perfectly. It's hard to sauce fried food well, but Thai Cuisine does it perfectly every time. The vegetables were cooked to perfection too -- they had a great crunch without tasting raw. Lastly, the potstickers are the best in Maryville! ‍ Service: 5/5 The service was professional and super friendly. Our server, Yolanda, was incredibly helpful when it came to deciding which curry I should try and what protein paired best with it. The pacing of the service was excellent because we had time to enjoy our appetizer without feeling rushed into our entrée. You can also tell the cook(s) is passionate about what they do. Atmosphere: 4.5/5 The restaurant was very clean, and the vibes were exactly what you'd expect from a Thai restaurant. My only nitpick was that we were seated next to another group even though there was plenty of space in the restaurant where we could've had a little more room to ourselves. Value: 5/5 The portions absolutely matched the value of what we ordered. I know eating out can get expensive nowadays, but this place is absolutely worth the price they charge. Final Thoughts I absolutely adore Thai Cuisine in Maryville and the employees who work there. They're always friendly and always deliver great food. This will always be one of my go-to spots whenever I'm craving a fresh meal. I just wish this restaurant wasn't so hidden because more people deserve to discover and try it. I'd love to see them move to a more noticeable location someday. If you love Thai food, this is the place to go for a guaranteed great experience! FEAST Overall Rating: 5/5 Would I Go Back?: YES

Yelped Ming Tree before I left work and ordered take out when I arrived. The wait was about 15 min which is average. They do not have paper menus to take with for future ordering. There wasn't any sauce in the bag for my egg rolls. I ordered the shrimp w lobster sauce in the "brown" sauce as it is served in a clear sauce at this place. I ordered the garlic shrimp some wonton soup and egg rolls and veg lo mein. My bill was $60+. The food was pretty tasty although the wonton soup was very "clear" and had 2 wontons that were so small. This was not good at all and I asked for a large and received a pint. So there is that. The egg rolls were burnt and there wasn't much to those either. Plus I had to ask for the sauce. Now the shrimp w lobster sauce, the garlic shrimp and the lo mein were very tasty and of adequate portion for the price. I do think I will reorder from here on my way home in the future and try some other dishes. Ming Tree has the most flavor in their food in this area. So yay for that!!!

The first thing that stood out was how clean everything was, followed by the quick and friendly service that got us seated right away. The menu offered a great variety of choices. My wife ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork with Lo Mein, which included chicken, pork, and shrimp -- everything was fresh and full of flavor. I went with the General Chow's Chicken. The sauce was tasty without being too spicy, and the rice was perfectly cooked and fresh. I had my mind set on Orange Chicken, which they didn't have, but with so many other good options, it wasn't a problem. The prices are very reasonable and competitive with other local spots. Thanks to the Ming Tree team for a great dining experience -- we'll definitely be back!

The service provided by Sergio was exemplary, and we just cannot say enough good things about him. Hard-working, always attentive without ever being over-bearing, kind, respectful, and very knowledgeable about every menu item we asked about. We know we can sometimes ask a lot of our servers, and Sergio never hesitated or faltered in providing some of the best service we have EVER experienced. Kudos to Sergio! Not to leave out the rest of the staff - the manager and everyone else we were in contact with were exceedingly warm and welcoming. And the food! Wow! Everything we ordered (soups, lobster, steaks, and desserts) was perfectly prepared and also among the best meals any of us have ever had. My wife and I have spent a lot of time in Southern Carolina and have become huge fans of She Crab soup and we didn't think we would ever have soup as good as we get there, but we were wrong. The She Crab soup at Foothills Milling Company was better than any we've ever had, anywhere. The steaks were cooked to the perfect temperature and were seasoned just right, and the lobster was amazing. This was seriously among the best dining experiences any of us have ever had, and we will happily recommend Foothills Milling Company to everyone we know. We cannot wait for our next visit.
