Recommend: Yes Lovely little antique store filled with numerous vendors with sales going on and various categorical items as well as mid-century, mid-modern items. Staff was super helpful redirecting me to other stores for cast iron skillets but entire shops was a wonderful stop in. Parking was a bit streamlined and restroom was available as well. read more

This place is diamond in a rough little strip mall in Lemon Grove. My fiancé and I like to go antiquing on Sunday Funday sometimes and thanks to the Yelp tribe we found this spot on the way back from La Mesa. They've really got some fascinating items in here! 400 year old tobacco tins, a gorgeous collection of Depression era carnival glass, a funky old school cruiser bike in excellent condition, political pins, military medals... I could go on and on. The place is packed to the gills with treasures. It was really quite surprising! The two women who work there were very nice but one of them wasn't wearing a mask and didn't put one on when we entered or the whole time we were in the store. I had high hopes for this place, as I generally love antique malls. This ended up being smaller than expected, and I didn't find anything there that I loved. Most of the booths were organized which I appreciated. Overall, I felt let down. It's possible others may find things they enjoy here, but this location is just not for me. read more

Lemon Grove Antique Mall is absolutely lovely. The ladies up front are quite friendly and quick to point out any specials that are going on that day. As you walk through the mall, you'll see that each of the vendor booths are nicely organized, and each have a specific speciality. I found vendor sections specializing in antique kitchenware, glassware, watches, brooches, dolls, and even art. There were so many unique finds! It was a joy to visit today. read more

My fondest memory of Nadine is when I left a jade sculpture and a wooden rolling pin in which I had purchased at the goodwill need less to say Nadine never called me and she had my number. She then sold the jade back to me for 200 dollars I remember what went on. Great person Huh. The store smells really bad and is run by liars and thieves. They talk. crap about customers. mostly granny stuff but they do have a lot of cowboy things also...not my thing..and kind of dirty and a lot of stuff is not marked with a price tag...I have bought a couple of things junk mostly and they made up the prices when i went to check out. its ok to go check out if you want to waste time, its fairly big...just take a mask and the place is really dusty. the good news is it is kind of fun looking around and picking thru the stuff..not very organized that is for sure. mostly nick knacks from Asia. read more

I came into this business because I have heard nothing but great things about Nadine, the owner. My experience at this business was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I was met at the door with attitude and disrespect. A lady with short red hair Michelle I believe her name was, first called me stupid, then called me a b****, and then called me insane because we disagreed on how old an antique was. Poor Nadine didn't even know what was going on and simply wanted to help when I realized after I got back into my car an employee wrapped my jewelry in packing tape, but the rest of the ladies who work there chimmed in and began to scream at me to get the f*** out. It is a much better antique mall then most places in San Diego, but the location and prices leave something to be desired. I was able to get a doll to alter for 50 percent off. Turned out to be a good deal, but there is plenty of other stuff here that is neither antique or greatly overpriced. As antique malls go, this one is not bad. It's organized relatively well, the aisles are not packed and each booth is clearly delineated. I also like that there's a lot of open shelving that invite you to poke around in the corners of each booth to find a hidden treasure. When in antique or vintage shops, I'm generally looking for Hawaiiana or housewares. At the LG Antique mall there's not much Hawaiiana, but there are nice pieces of vintage housewares to be found. There's not a lot of furniture, mainly small collectibles. Pricing is a little on the higher end, even for some items that were not in mint condition. However, a lot of the booths did have discount signs posted. The staff was friendly, and I'll be back to explore some more! read more

Sometimes the ladys that run this place are super friendly and helpful and other times they are down right rude. There is a massive selection so it will keep u busy. My favorite Antique Mall in SD. This store is HUGE and it takes quite a while to see the whole store but well worth it! They have booths that are around 10' by 10' and each of them is owned by different dealers and there is always booths that have 50% off. They have fairly recently added in an entire clothing section in the back. It's a mix of new used modern and vintage. I've found so many awesome vintage pieces in their for dirt cheap! Overall, you will find the same stuff you will in any other antique store (and more), but at a much lower cost.
