I thought this was really neat, a soldier's medal with a portrait of him wearing it. Just one of many cool finds!

This place is diamond in a rough little strip mall in Lemon Grove. My fiancé and I like to go antiquing on Sunday Funday sometimes and thanks to the Yelp tribe we found this spot on the way back from La Mesa. They've really got some fascinating items in here! 400 year old tobacco tins, a gorgeous collection of Depression era carnival glass, a funky old school cruiser bike in excellent condition, political pins, military medals... I could go on and on. The place is packed to the gills with treasures. It was really quite surprising! The two women who work there were very nice but one of them wasn't wearing a mask and didn't put one on when we entered or the whole time we were in the store. We had fun looking around but did our best to stay away from her. Ummmm HELLO there's a pandemic going on!

Lemon Grove Antique Mall is absolutely lovely. The ladies up front are quite friendly and quick to point out any specials that are going on that day. As you walk through the mall, you'll see that each of the vendor booths are nicely organized, and each have a specific speciality. I found vendor sections specializing in antique kitchenware, glassware, watches, brooches, dolls, and even art. There were so many unique finds! It was a joy to visit today.

Wonderful treasures found at the Lemon Grove Antique Mall. The staff is friendly, helpful and welcome you to hunt for treasure. Many interesting finds. Case #6 features; vintage rhinestone items, Italian beads and micro mosaics as well as pottery, chinoiserie and American Brilliant Cut Glass.

I came into this business because I have heard nothing but great things about Nadine, the owner. My experience at this business was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I was met at the door with attitude and disrespect. A lady with short red hair Michelle I believe her name was, first called me stupid, then called me a b****, and then called me insane because we disagreed on how old an antique was. Poor Nadine didn't even know what was going on and simply wanted to help when I realized after I got back into my car an employee wrapped my jewelry in packing tape, but the rest of the ladies who work there chimmed in and began to scream at me to get the f*** out. Never have I ever been so disrespected. I don't suggest this place to ANYONE!!!

I bought some great art books, toys and they gave me a great price and a free doll as a thank you gift.

I highly recommend the lemon grove antique market. They have a wonderful select of antiques and. Collectibles. And, if you spend at least $25 you get a free gift. The two ladies who work there are charming, knowledgeable and very friendly.

I spotted some absolutely beautiful light blue Fenton lamps, a lot of neat 1950s kitchen accouterments and dinette sets, a beautiful and unique dresser, and many more quality antiques - including a manually operated drill (which I've heard work great). Unlike La Mesa Antique Mall, which is mainly focused on knick-knacks, Collectiquity would be a decent place to go for furniture and large items such as antique mirrors - though smaller items such as art glass, jewelry, and other decorative items are well-represented. They carry some items that are on the newer end of "antique" - like the aforementioned mid century dinettes. Prices are reasonable but not rock-bottom and on par with other antique stores in the area. A fun place to browse, as it's more orderly and less overwhelming than the dusty recesses of the average antique mall or junk shop.

They also have a Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Collectiquity/159044344128760 My husband and I were super excited to see they relocated as we'll finally be putting our Peter Rabbit dresser to use and are looking for a changing table. One of the owners Michelle was at the store at the time that we stopped in and remembered us as the couple who had bought the Peter Rabbit dresser! It's been over three years so for her to remember was amazing. The layout of their new location is much different than the last. It's large and has different sections or rooms and the way they've allocated the antiques throughout gives the store a homey feel and gives you a good idea of what these pieces would look like in a bedroom, kitchen etc as they've themed each room they have with different room specific items such as kitchen only. We stopped in for a while but I could spend hours in the store looking at everything. Near the counter top at the register look for a stand with homemade sand dollar Christmas ornaments (sand dollars from Coronado) - perfect gift for family out of town who love San Diego. This antique store is definitely one that stands out among the rest.

They house "East County Vinyl" inside which has such an extensive collection of both new and used vinyls that are all priced SO well - we walked out with 5 used vinyls under $30, SCORE (two of them were priced at just $2)! We've already tried playing all 5 of them and they were in pristine condition. Walked into the back and they have a really nice assortment of furniture, art, books, a small rack of clothing, vintage decor and collection pieces alike, all of which were priced very well!! Even though the clothing rack was small, I found this really cool Padres shirt :) The gentleman working today was also very kind and helpful, he even offered to hold the vinyls we found up at the register so we could continue perusing around the store. The consignment and vintage market, especially in San Diego, marks up prices but the Consignment Shack makes it affordable for all! Can't wait to come back!!!

It felt like the old school days browsing through old records and finding great deals... unlike other stores where they overcharge. The owner was sweet and very welcoming which was appreciated. I was able to find a few vinyls to add to my slow growing collection. The other side was more of the consignment area, offering a variety of items, from comic books, to vintage Barbie's, to furniture and more. When I make it back to this area, I will definitely stop by again.
