We had such a great experience! The food was delicious--everything tasted fresh and was cooked just right. I had the avocado toast with eggs, and my friend got the breakfast burrito--both were flavorful and really hit the spot. The espresso drinks were phenomenal, which isn't always the case at breakfast spots! But what really made it stand out was our server, Brittany. She was absolutely amazing--super friendly, attentive, and seriously knew the menu inside and out. She gave thoughtful recommendations, checked in at just the right times, and had a really warm, welcoming energy that made us feel right at home. Love a healthy food spot! My sister and I stopped by Lemon Press twice during our recent visit to Nantucket. Overall I'd give the experience 3.5 stars but the amazing smoothie I had bumps it up to 4. The first time around we had lunch on the lower level. I was craving something light and nutritious so I went with Kami's Bowl. The bowl included farro, mashed avocado, greens, pickled cauli, cucumber (MIA in real life), tomato, feta (nixed this to make it vegan), and pita wedges ($19.76). The bowl is under the "warm bowls" section of the menu, but it was more of a salad, being green heavy and not actually warm. It was decent, my hopes were just very high. I'd definitely give Lemon Press another shot if I'm back in Nantucket and want something casual + savory (and healthy). For breakfast the next day we did have to wait around 20 minutes for a table, and were seated upstairs. I wanted a smoothie so I chose the TB12, which was one of the best smoothies I've had out! It was comprised of banana, blueberries, walnuts, chia seeds, flax, plant-based protein, and almond milk ($14.56). So well-balanced and the perfect texture! They don't have London Fogs on the menu, but I asked our server if they could whip one up, and the answer was yes! The cozy beverage ended up being super tasty as well. Our second visit definitely made up for our first. The ambiance is okay, I prefer downstairs around the bar area, and service is decent. No complaints in that department! I'd happily come back to enjoy another smoothie and try more menu items. read more

I got a delicious chocolate hazelnut croissant and an okay tasting latte here. They're just using generic syrups, but I honestly expected them to make their syrups in-house. The service was good even though I don't think she understood some of our order because it was wrong when it first came out. But they fixed it. The açaí bowl was fresh but expensive. The matcha wasn't very sweet even with the added sweet cold foam. The presentation of the food was nice. For the price idk if it was worth it. Nicely decorated place. Oh no ! Chunky coffee ! It ended up having a piece of HAM in the cup. I was flabbergasted. Absolutely shocked. It was one of the worst experiences in a restaurant ever. No apologies offered by the manager. Lovely baristas. They were not the problem. Management is awful. So rude and honestly the food was bad too. Sadly, I have to give a negative review for this place. First off- service!! I came in there for the first time and asked their advice on the matcha or chai and the woman who rang me up wasn't very helpful so I went for the matcha and it had no taste and wasn't mixed at the bottom. I went to return and the girls behind the counter were rude and gave me attitude when I asked them to remake it and instead I switched it out for the chai and it was watered down by the almond milk. Went for breakfast. Two breakfast sandwiches and two bloody Mary's were about 75.00 with tip. So, I would say a little on the expensive side. The Bloody Mary was good but nothing out of the ordinary. The breakfast sandwich was on an English muffin with a very nicely done fluffy egg, bacon and bacon jam. The bacon jam was good, I would ask for less next time. It has a nice atmosphere, very clean and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. It's an island! Prices will be higher than normal, but look at menus to see if interested first! read more

The only thing was the weird interaction my friend and I had with staff :/ We are both in our mid 20's and both server and bartender came over to check ID's a total of three times and seemed to hesitate to serve us and made it a bit uncomfortable to continue the meal as we are of age and the way they went about it was a bit awkward as tables are very close together and so people close by did begin to stare. The cost is on par with what you'll see at the other restaurants in this part of town but I don't think the quality or quantities quite deliver at the price point. For a $50 salmon entree, I expect to have a pretty amazing meal. The fish was nice but tiny, and the sides were underwhelming. I double checked the menu when I saw my plate thinking maybe I ordered an app by mistake. The service was a bit strange. The woman who seated us asked if we were ready to order - we requested a few minutes to browse. Not even a minute later a different waiter came by to take our order - we still weren't ready so said we needed another minute or two to look. The original waiter returned almost as quickly. Still a little unprepared, we did the thing where the first few people in the party order while everyone else scrambles to pick. It felt like they wanted to rush us in and out of the table, but we were the only party in the restaurant. After waiting for our food for about 15 minutes the owner of the restaurant comes by to ask if we've been in before/have questions about the menu etc and then tries to take our food order for a fourth time and was surprised to learn that we'd already been helped. Throughout the meal we had a total of 4 people checking in on us and it seemed like none of them were coordinating behind the scenes. The ambiance is cute, but I think it just makes more sense for breakfast or lunch. I don't believe there is ever a time that this spot is not busy! We came both times during the early morning but even while we were in town and walking around, they seem to be flowing with crowds and the reason is justified! The açai bowl that I had was the most delicious and fulfilling breakfast! I got mine with mango, honey, and peanut butter with granola. They also seem to have a lot of options for pressed juices and coffees but I did not indulge while I was here. My friend got their breakfast sandwich and I can't seem to get it out of my head! Definitely a must try! If you can snag a spot outside, it would be great for taking in the Nantucket downtown/shopping area! read more

Way overpriced for what you get. I ordered a large latte for $7 and it wasn't a full cup and then it was a lot of foam. Ended up being about 60% full. Handlebar Cafe is better with a nicer atmosphere. Lemon Press is for tourists who don't know better. Be the tourist who does and go to Handlebar. read more
