My family and I love going to Sparklings for special holidays like Mother's and Father's Day. It's a favorite because there is always something for everyone on the menu. It's also a gorgeous restaurant so you feel like you are going to a nice brunch or night out when you go. They have recently renovated and it looks much brighter in there. They also have some booth style seats which is great for parties because you can have a bit of separation. Our family personally loves the back semi-private dining room in the back. Calamari, portobello fries, truffle fries, and the sweet potato fries are always crowd favorites choices for apps. I love the portobello fries the most. I have had mostly brunch here but the menus are not limited to only the brunch menu. We love ordering savory foods and then ordering a sweet brunch item to share. All the pastas are good and have a big serving. I personally haven't ever had the same entree twice but everything has always taste good here. The one thing we really really love about this place is their affordability. You get big portions and it's not going to break your bank. Most entrees are $20 and under. You do not see that a lot anymore! Service is really nice but can be a little slow sometimes. We don't feel like it ruins the experience because we're spending time with family. We arrived at 5:05 PM, just five minutes after the restaurant opened at 5:00 PM. When we got there, there were already two customers sitting at the bar. We asked if we could also sit at the bar, but the host told us it was closed. He even went to ask the bartender since there were already people seated there, but the bartender said no because the bar was closed. This was very confusing. If the bar was truly closed, why were two customers already sitting there? If there was a specific reason, it should have been explained instead of simply turning us away. The inconsistency made us feel unwelcome and gave us a poor first impression. I hope management can improve communication and provide a more consistent experience for future guests. read more

Reasonably priced. Small portions. Sat down. No plates. No silverware. Server came to take our order. Ordered the caprese (not HH). Largest basil I've ever seen in my life. Very tasty. Also ordered the basil pesto. It was ok. Then the diver scallops with polenta. Very small portions. But what do you exoect for HH? Don't expect to share your food. We had to go steal plates and silverware from another table. We noticed a party of 3 was served bread. We weren't. So we asked for bread. But the portions of our meal were so small that by the time the bread came, we were done eating. The bread was actually better than anything we ordered. I visited on last night with a friend for their happy hour. Which is from 5pm-CLOSE. I started off with the Mac & cheese balls and a French 75. The Mac & cheese balls are my favorite. Sometimes you may have to ask them well done (fyi). I also tried the bacon & mushroom spaghetti which was very tasty & creamy. I added Parmesan which really ties the dish together. Our waiter Tristin was lovely. He constantly checked on us & we shared great conversation about the menu & how the owner changes it often to keep the ambiance & variety going in the restaurant. It's great to see The Sparklings still offering great deals with their all day Happy Hour. Unlike most places where there's only a few items on special, an entire menu page is devoted to their Happy Hour. There's a lot of items to choose from including skewers and half pastas. I really enjoy their bar area because it's got atmosphere and televisions. Chris the bartender is very friendly and informative. The food - it was all great! The food comes out fresh and hot. One of my favorites - the grilled wings. Wow! Piping hot, tender, and with a nice sweet flavor. I love that they are grilled which is hard to find. The Meatballs in vodka sauce is a good size. You get 3 meatballs and the sauce is smooth and not overly heavy. Solid flavors! The half pastas are great because you can try different ones without overcommitting to a full entree. The pesto gnocchi came with plenty of sauce and the gnocchi was nice and chewy. I love the nuts that are added in the sauce - gave it a little crunch with that nutty-ness. Hidden gem in SW Vegas. Location is unassuming but they have a sneaky good happy hour and consistently fantastic service. I'm always skeptical about places with large menus, but this place is an exception. The happy hour menu is gigantic and features a lot of unique offering of American, Italian, and Asian fusion options. I've tried a few items that are good but the standouts in particular would be their octopus, pesto gnocchi, and vodka rigatoni. I stumbled upon this hidden gem for happy hour a bit too late! It's been there for over 10 years and I had no clue. They have $8 happy hour that starts from 5 pm- close, yes you heard me right!! I can't believe we hadn't come across this place sooner. We're always on the lookout for good pasta spots with variety and reasonable prices, and The Sparklings checks all the boxes. We arrived around 8:30 PM for happy hour and sat in the bar area. From the happy hour menu, we ordered the calamari, scallops and polenta, and vodka sauce meatballs. Everything was amazing, but the scallops and polenta really stood out. We also thought the vodka sauce was perfect. For our main dishes, my husband got the Italian sausage vodka rigatoni and I got the shrimp and crab ravioli with Alfredo and extra shrimp. Both were delicious. Had the chance to finally try Sparklings this week, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! It's been on my must try list for a while, and I'm sooo glad I stopped by. This is my first time eating at this restaurant and I'm gonna sit here and tell you guys I will definitely be back for date night. Every dish was hot fresh seasoned well. The new Happy Hour menu is an amazing value with so many options. I love how the dishes are smaller versions of the entrees. It really gives you the chance to try different things! My girl friends and I tried the calamari, the burrata salad, the grilled wings, the meatballs, and the Cajun shrimp pasta. Everything was so yummy! We came in right at opening at 5pm and there were plenty of open tables. The service was great and our server recommended two different cocktails - the mango whiskey and the spritz. Both were great! I ordered Sparklings through Uber Eats and honestly I was very impressed. We got the shepherds pie, brussels sprouts with bacon, calamari, and the shrimp tempura and mushroom spaghetti. The Shepherds Pie was surprisingly AMAZING and easily the best thing we ordered. It was packed with flavor and was not lacking anything at all. The shrimp tempura and mushroom spaghetti was not overly flavorful, which I actually loved because I could add the perfect amount of salt myself. You cannot come back from something being too salty. The brussels sprouts had the perfect crunch with great flavor and made an excellent side dish to go with any meal. Calamari is a must for me at every Italian restaurant, and this one did not disappoint. It was lightly breaded and still arrived hot, which is impressive considering the drive. All of the dishes were clearly prepared and served with care, which I really appreciate. This review is long overdue, but The Sparklings is such a great spot. I went to a Christmas party here last night and had such a nice time. The food was amazing and the drinks were on point. I especially loved the Pesto Gnocchi and the Chicken Parmesan. The space itself is absolutely beautiful, it was decorated do nicely for the holidays and felt festive but still relaxed and welcoming. The owner Andy is very hands on, which really shows how much he cares about the place and the guest experience. Everything just flowed so well from start to finish. I've been here before for drinks and apps at the bar, and always had an equally excellent experience. Finally made it a point to stop by and I wish I did it sooner. All the food was excellent and I love that they make their desserts in house. The Earl Gray Tiramisu was fantastic! They gave a very generous portion so got to take the rest home to enjoy. Same with the chicken parm. There's an option to order a double and I might consider it next time since it was SO good! Juan took really good care of us. He was super helpful with the menu as it was our first time there. I was surprised a place this good wasn't very busy, though there were two birthday parties at the same time which tells you this is a great place to share a great meal with friends. So the restaurant is beautiful has a beautiful view so I assumed I would get beautiful service. There's a server there named JC who particularly gave me a horrible experience I was beyond insulted by the way his service was. He was rude had an uncalled attitude and I overheard him making racial comments. I ordered a chicken piccata and asked to send it back due to it not tasting as it should, he did not offer me an alternative and just walked away with attitude. Very unprofessional and I did not expect this type of service from such a beautiful place. More concerning, I overheard him making racist remarks about me and my partner, which made us extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. This was my third time going to this restaurant. All of my other experiences were nothing short of amazing, however, this visit, not so much. I wanted to take a friend there for happy hour, so I arrived at 5pm. The restaurant was pretty slow but it appeared that there was a private party in one of the rooms. The food came out pretty quickly along with my first drink, but the second drink took a while. The waiter barely checked on us at all and I had to flag him down for our bill. This didn't take away from the taste of the food as it remained delicious. The private party may have taken away from the servers as there weren't many staffed. Decided to come here for dinner with my family since it's down the street from us. This place is cool to take someone out on a date or a meal with the family. We've been here multiple times, but haven't gotten to write a review about this place. Really wanted to give this place a 5 star, but the service just wasn't there for me at all. I would understand if the business was busy, but there were barely any customers in the restaurant. The only thing that saved this for getting a three star is when we did finally get our server to tend to our table, he was actually really cool and gave us great customer service. We ordered the arugula grape flatbread and pesto gnocchi to start. The arugula and grape flatbread was okay. Probably won't order again. Definitely miss the honey gorgonzola flatbread they had back then. Server told us they took it off the menu since they don't have that certain cheese in their restaurant anymore. Bummer. Pesto gnocchi is amazing per usual. Main entrees consisted of chicken parm sandwich, Shepards pie, salmon, and shrimp tempura lemon pasta. All were really good. The Sparklings is my go to spot for last minute brunch reservations. I was abl to call the day before and make a reservation for 10 people. They put us in a private room which was great! Honestly I am a little suprised that this place isn't more busy for brunch. $18 bottomless is basically unheard if in Las Vegas anymore. They have a pretty large brunch menu with mutiple options. But I was able to order off their lunch/dinner menu so that was great. I am a brunch drinks girl but I don't love breakfast foods. I had the single portion chicken parm with the side spaghetti, with vodka sauce. This thing was massive and I would love to see the double portion. Chicken parm was cooked perfectly! And I loved the flavor of the vodka sauce, and my only criticism is there was not more sauce but I was able to order an extra side so all was well. read more
