The evening I walked out the color was exactly what I wanted! Dec 20th! During processing they even too pics of the color! The style was not that great or the cut but I thought Jackie knew her color products. Since, it has been a rough 9 days!!! Not only have I been extremely sick with a sinus infection, my hair color is blonde!!! NOT what I asked for!! How is this possible???? Not only that, one side is far more bleached than the other and the partial highlights is painfully obvious with no blending in the back. I either got sick from Jackie who was coughing now and again causing customers to stare at her, i.e. she came to work sick! She commented that the smell of the coloring was getting to her and she had to excuse herself due to coughing. OR I had an allergic reaction to the color! Throughout Christmas I was very sick! On Dec 23 I was at the clinic getting a shot and antibiotics to kill any infection. Tested negative for flue strep or covid.. It started with a cough then throat swelling and pain. Treated for URI. I also have asthma that was exacerbated. I did not wash my hair for 2 days and used Joico for color treated hair, which I have used since October. My hair has since gotten lighter than it was when I walked out!! After being so sick, I was finally able to take a picture today! I wore my hair up when I was sick all week and only able to wash twice after being exhausted and weak. My husband even noticed the color has gotten lighter. And for him to notice is a Big deal! Meaning there was significant change than the night I walked out. I question if she did not fully rinse it well that night? Can their formula still process days later? In fact they even said the color she used is now discontinued. Why?! I question it now! No, I do not recommend Lemon Tree!! I question what chemicals are in their color that can cause this much damage!! I paid way too much for sitting there 5 hours for the color to be ruined days later and for me to become sick throughout Christmas. I will barely mention but it's worth mentioning, the body odor of Jackie and how that could correlate to her being sickly and making others sick! Unless it was all coincidence and I am allergic. Yep I'm pretty steamed at the fact that no way this color should have gotten lighter and getting sick could have been avoided! I question the hygiene of the employees which means the standards of the management, and the coloring products. Where do they come from? If this place has made others sick the public has a right to know. read more

I do not recommend this salon. I went in for lowlights highlights and I look awful. The highlights are only in the front and nothing in the back and it's not even highlights, It's this big chunk of blonde on the sides and the back of my hair is still brown. I look ridiculous. I paid for lowlights and my hair is the same color I went in with. Four hours and $310.00 later and I'm too embarrassed to leave my house. read more

My mom needs a place to get her hair washed and blow dried due to some health issues and this was perfect. A little pricier than in her home town but the stylist was very kind and sweet and did a good job. The salon looked clean and it was easy to book online and get what we needed. I have given this business SO many chances. You know how hard it is to find a good stylist. The first visit was great. I walked out looking like I stepped out of a salon and one other time. Otherwise I have left with one side cut longer than the other. So noticeable that my family noticed as soon as I walked in.Other times it wasn't dried completely. I don't understand how you can show someone a picture and then come out looking completely different? I sent a friend there after my first visit, she said she'd never go back. I tried another stylist at Lemon Tree. She over bleached my hair because she decided to take a lunch break when I was bleaching, although I was her only client, and then I ended up there for 6-1/2 hours because she had to correct it. Then they charged me!! I asked about it and she said well they didn't charge me the full amount. What?! I am done! I found another salon on 377 in Keller. Prices are just as good and my hair looks great! I have seen SO many stylists come and go from here. That should have been a sign. That and seeing other people coming in to have their previous service corrected. This last visit a woman next to me complained they got her color all wrong and she was getting it redone in the same visit. read more

I do not recommend this hair salon in Keller. My first experience there was disappointing. I had an appointment for a haircut, wash, and style. The haircut was uneven, and the services were not properly completed. When I expressed my concerns and complaints, the salon manager implied that my feedback was invalid, stating that they do not perform dry cuts. Additionally, they were unable to locate my appointment information, despite my providing proof of the scheduled appointment, including the date, time, and details listed in the reminder text they sent me. The stylist's name was also included in the confirmation. The management later contacted me personally she was able to find my information, and offered a complimentary haircut to address the issue, but they did not acknowledge or resolve my concerns. Johanna did an amazing job with my perm. I've been getting them elsewhere for a year and a half but decided to try a salon closer to home. I showed her a photo and explained what I wanted, including bangs (which I didn't currently have). She was thorough and I have never had a stylist deliver 100% of what I asked. I give my appointment with sweet Hope 10 stars. She was amazing and I will definitely go back. Hope asked me a lot of questions to determine what I was wanting. No hair Stylist in my life has ever been so thorough. Hope actually listened to everything I had said. She actually cared about what I had to say. She offered her thoughts on what she thought she might do. We discussed it and came into agreement on what would be done. She also discussed it throughout my haircut. I have never experienced such an appointment with any hair Stylist before. She is an awesome young lady and I recommend Hope to everyone. As a added note my hair was a disaster after my last 2 haircuts with 2 different salons so my cut was not an easy task to take on. My haircut came out awesome. Hope is very talented for such a young lady. You won't go wrong with her. You won't be disappointed. Give Hope a try!!! read more

This is such a well run place. You make your appointment online and give them a credit card that promises you will show up. In return you get an hours worth of time and services. It makes everything work very smooth and you can request a certain hairdresser. I showed up on time in April took me immediately for a shampoo. How nice and enjoyable. My hair dresser was Theresa and she is incredible. This woman is a combination super hairdresser with tons of experience and a part-time comedian. What a pleasure it was to spend time with her! She gave the best haircut I have had in many years. I plan to come back here for now on. She will shortly splitting her time with a new Southlake location. I will go where ever she is. Requested the first photo. I have waited years to get my hair this long again after an accident.(my mom and sister cut it since they had to wash for 8 weeks) I do not use any products on my hair, just basic shampoo and conditioner. I put coconut oil on it occasionally. I do not use any curling irons, flat irons, or hot curlers! Megan, the operator wanted to cut my hair before the perm, but I prefer waiting for about 2 weeks. She didn't like that. The wash was ok, but twice is always better. The rolling was ok, should have been tighter, and kept wet. I had to ask for cotton for the edges. She covered with a trash bag. Checked it once and said ten more minutes. So, 40 minutes with solution on! ( my head should have been warmed with dryer. The areas that took were the edges of scalp. The warmest area with the cotton and plastic rolled up) She rinsed lightly, then then neutralizer for 10. She took the rollers out before she rinsed the neutralizer out. This rinse was too quick, (also took the rollers out) rinsing about 2-3 minutes. When I sat back down in the chair she combed it! Yes combed with a regular comb, not like a pick, I was so distraught. She wanted to do a conditioning treatment. I have no words. Please DO NOT USE LEMON TREE, KELLER TX and/or HURST TX MEGAN IS THE OWNER OPERATOR. MEGAN FRIED MY HAIR! I phoned her later that day, she was not available! I phoned the next day, she spoke with me for very short time, said she was with client and would call me back. She never called me back (Surprised? NO! ) The next evening I phone and we spoke. She keeps blaming it on my hair. Will not take responsibility, or even apologize and set up future time to correct. On google review I gave her 1star. When we arrived I got a pro cuts vibe and became nervous. Our stylist arrived late for my sons appointment and with very little direction began chopping his hair off. He had longer curly hair. My son is 7 a 7 year old with ASD. I say this to offer perspective on his sensory sensitivities. Without asking she pulled out the trimmers and began to use them on his neck and ear area. He became flushed and fidgety, but was otherwise calm although clearly scared/anxious. She became very corrective with him and inpatient. He allowed her to finish. 2 weeks later, his hair is looking better, but we won't return due to the experience and lack of communication. Hopefully this brings awareness to the rushed pace and need for dialogue to learn about the client. read more

My review is not about value, but bait and switch. I booked my first appointment online for full highlights starting at $90. (Good deal, I know!) Before the young stylist even touched my hair she created a bill for $170. I asked how she got to that price. She wrote down "toner" (80 dollars?) "I don't want a cut, toner, shampoo... no extras - just the highlights I signed up for." A senior stylist joined the conversation. Her reasons seemed contrived and unconvincing. She began by telling me $90 was for a partial which she had to concede wasn't true because it's listed online. Her evolved into my hair being a $200 job... more than double the listed price. Is that a normal/reasonable cost for a full highlight? Yes! However, it is dishonest to book me starting at $90 (no other services wanted) and explain that my fine, shoulder-length hair warrants such a discrepancy from the advertised starting price. I have the money and I would have been happy to pay. It was the principal. It was a weak explanation that downplayed my common sense. I left without accepting the service for that reason. I think my photo shows that my hair isn't BIG job that would warrant over double the price. Bait and switch is a bad way to do business. read more
