The restaurant stops overing full breakfast menu at 11:00am, so if you want more than the limited breakfast options be sure to get here early. I simply loved this quaint warm eatery! Their menu includes a variety of popular breakfast and brunch dishes along with daily specials. I went for the Cinnamon Vanilla French toast which was yummy. It came nice and warm with two strips of bacon and warm syrup. My daughter got the Mickey pancake which was HUGE and delicious ( I couldn't resist tasting it). The service was phenomenal. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. The food came out fast! To top off the experience, they gave us 3 mini blueberry muffins with our check. I love this place! Whatever you order it will satisfy your taste buds. Everything tastes fresh from their omelets to their burger. The staff are also very friendly and diligent. Whenever I'm in town I eat here every morning. I love love love their quiche and my only complaint would be, as a vegetarian, I wish there were more vegetable quiche days! if 4.5 stars was an option that is what I would give Lemon Tree. The place was very cute and centrally located. I loved the touches of yellow EVERYWHERE, the decor definitely had a southern charm to it. Upon entering, we were promptly greeted and seated. The waitstaff was extremely efficient, friendly and worked well together. I ordered coffee, a mimosa, and the crab cake benedict. I chose a side of potatoes over the grits. There was nothing special about the potatoes - they seemed to lack salt and other seasoning. There was ketchup and Tobasco so I was happy. The only downfall to the experience was the tight quarters of the restaurant. To maximize space, a booth that would typically seat 4-6 was divided by a piece of wood (as classy as a wood divider could be) and comfortably sat 2 on each side of the wood. We were seated next to an older couple and the lady was literally reading excerpts from the news paper to her husband the majority of the time we were there. She was sitting right next to me, I could have touched her purse if I wanted to, and vice versa. I was not disappointed and would likely return if I were to visit Vero again. The patrons appeared to be a mix between locals (that the staff knew/recognized) and tourists (like my boyfriend and I). read more

Food and service were both great. I took my kids for lunch one afternoon and they were both happy.

I had the traditional eggs Benedict for breakfast. The traditional steak knife was a little dull. The potatoes were warm not hot. The hollandaise sauce was very runny and thin not a nice thick hollandaise sauce. I should have know by the look of other plates. My eggs were overdone. When I complained I received 2 perfectly poached eggs in about a minute. This was very nice speedy serrvice for a change compared to other restaurants. It is clean, with excellent service and great location by all the shops on Ocean Drive. The last sausage gravy with biscuits was amazing last week. I added 2 poached eggs to that meal. They need to up the quality control on the eggs benedict. Mulligans would have had a better eggs benedict. The coffee was great this time. read more

I hate to say this because the one time we went as vegetarians we really enjoyed the atmosphere but when I just called asking if there were any vegan options the woman who answered the phone immediately turned rude and then hung up on me :( There are so many people switching to a plant based diet that I really can't understand a business ostracizing client who are health conscious. Even if they didn't have vegan options that would be fine and I still would have recommended this restaurant to friends and family who visit, but being rude to someone who wants to give you their money is just not ok. read more

I recently went here for breakfast with two friends after reading good reviews on Yelp. It was everything everyone said it was.... great food, service and atmosphere. One of my friends had pancakes with organic blueberries added and she said they were the best she's ever had. I had an omelet with a pancake on the side. The omelet was good but nothing special; the pancake was huge & thick but also airy so very good. At the end they gave us mini muffins; the waitress said 'todays muffin is carrot' so I guess they rotate the variety. They were yummy and the perfect size for an after breakfast treat. The location is very nice - we were able to park right in front of the restaurant for free and there were nice boutique shops adjacent to it. We went on a Wednesday a.m. after staying at the Disney resort for a few days. I would definitely recommend you try the Lemon Tree and I would definitely go again if I'm in the area. read more

I think they are going for basic breakfast food that is well executed and that they do well. The waffles are tasty and fresh. The omlette is good. But there is nothing earth shettering or revolutionary on their menu. Also for a place that is striving to do the basics well, there coffee could have been MUCH better. When I'm in Vero Beach, I always make a point to have breakfast here. Everything I've ordered has come out looking and tasting delicious and the kitchen knows how to poach an egg perfectly. That being the known case makes the Eggs Benedict a very easy order. Faultless! The Hollandaise is slightly more lemony than most but I do feel it is a great compliment to the dish. The highlight always are the freshly baked mini muffins. If you happen to be there on a day when they have the expresso chip ones just sa our each nibble. They are addictive. After waiting 25 minutes for our breakfast, I get it, it was a full house, my breakfast sandwich did not have the ham I ordered. Mistakes happen. The kitchen thought it acceptable to take two pinches of cold chopped ham and immediately return it to the table. Had breakfast at the lemon tree on a Saturday morning and, although the place was busy, we (hubby, 2 kids, and I) were seated right away. Our server was wonderful and efficient. The food came out super fast and it was absolutely great! The quiche with everything in it was delicious, so was my husband's French toast. My girls had pancakes and they are the best pancakes I have tasted! They even made they in the shape of mickey mouse :) The price is comparable to other establishments, but well worth it. This is a great locals and tourist place. Very clean with friendly staff. The food is fantastic, with truly homemade corn beef hash. If you go on the weekend get there early, as a line will start. Though the wait is worth it. On Fridays they serve fresh Maine lobster rolls. As a Florida girl I know Main lobster is better than Florida lobster any day. Cheery decor, welcoming service and great coffee make this place a nice way to start the day. The smoky cheesy grits and poached egg come with choices of breakfast meat and toast. The grits were creamy and satisfying but were missing any cheesy smoke flavors. The poached egg was a bit overcooked but the yolk ran enough to compliment the grits in which it nested. The sausage I selected came as thick links, very good even though not the standard breakfast seasoning. My breakfast companion ordered a greek themed omelet with bacon and home fries. He was very satisfied with the preparation and seasoning and the portions were enough to satisfy his hearty appetite. Complimentary mini blueberry muffins were a lovely touch.
