Water heater blew out @ ~11:30am on Saturday, Jose had a new one by 2:30pm same day. In addition, the installation was done very well. I've had them out a couple times and always got top notch, professional service with these guys. I'm not sure what else I could've wanted. He had a water heater on his truck, ready to go and so I really had no idea what water heater I was getting, just kinda wanted it fixed at that point in time. Finally got around to researching the model he installed and wow, I'm very happy, he gave us a great water heater (including a great warranty). Just want to thank Lemus plumbing for being so responsive and so quick with a gas valve replacement! My dryer of 15 years (I know, great brand) had finally met it's end. I ordered a new washer/dryer and started to prepare the laundry room for delivery. Unfortunately, due to the gas valve not being touched for 15 years, it was completely frozen. I contacted Lemus plumbing concerned I'd need to reschedule appliance delivery. I spoke briefly with this guy on the phone, and traded a few texts. His basic message to me was: Don't call me unless you intend to spend money with me. I have a problem with my water heater, I don't know if it can be repaired or whether it has to be replaced, but that's why I call a professional. Not at all courteous on the phone, he told me that there was a service charge of $85 for him to come to my home whether I purchase the service or not, because "I gotta go all the way over there." I honestly don't know what the quality of his service is, but the fact that he doesn't seem to care about losing a potentially $1000+ job and taking the attitude that he's doing me a favor - was a complete turnoff for me. Shop around, there are tons of plumbers in San Diego such as ARS, Bill Howe, etc. Update: I had two different companies come over today to provide an estimate, both recommended a new water heater. #LostRevenue read more

I cannot say enough good things about Lemus. Last night my downstairs toilet started backing up, and the corresponding sink backed up the toilet. I posted on my Next Door site, and I was almost immediately contacted by Lemus plumbing to offer to come at 8 am the very next morning. Rafael and his coworker arrived at 8, and got to work. It turned out to be more than a simple TP clog, resulting in removing the toilet and roto-auging (is that even a word!l )12 feet of pipe to the main sewer line. Turned out to be calcium build up in the pipe and within 90 min fixed the problem, and gave me a very reasonable rate. I will reccomend Lemus to anyone. Thank you gentleman. I was in the process of selling my house, i had to do some minor plumbing repairs so i called this company as its a local company from San Marcos and spoke to a man who was very polite and nice. We agreed he would be coming over the next day to give me an estimate of how much it will cost. I could tell he did not like that i asked for an estimate instead of hiring him for the job right on the spot. But can't blame wanting to get a couple of estimates before getting the job done. Well I WAS RIGHT! I didn't hear back from him. i texted him after the agreed time then he tells me he had an emergency in San Diego. Coincidence? maybe... I understand emergencies happen. He agreed to call me the following Monday, nope no call or text received until the end of the week. Just beware, in my opinion a business that doesnt take a " possible client" serious then this business may not be the right one. While out of town and my 21 year old niece house sitting, a water pressure situation arose and These guys tried to convince me, over the phone, that a pressure regulator needed to be installed to regulate the water pressure going to the other pressure regulator they had installed 3 months earlier. While trying to get a logical explanation from them a water district serviceman showed up (I called the water district) and ALL of a sudden the problem became a mere adjustment to the first regulator they put in. A plumber from Lemus Plumbing came to my home to see why the water in the toilet boil would not go down. All he did was push down on the handle of the toilet and told me I needed a new toilet and would charge me $350.00. I had another plumber come out and he put a snake down the toilet and unclogged the line and now my toilet is running perfectly, and he saved me a minimum of $310.00 for the project.
