Honest, dependable, reliable local HVAC experts…read more I have been using Heating Cooling and Beyond for about two years now. They have done EXTENSIVE work for me from replacing ducting, installing additional air registers, zoning, air treatment, attic fan replacement, furnace replacement, repairs and maintenance. Their solutions have worked reliably so far and they stand behind their work. I have called these guys on multiple occasions now for emergencies and they always have my back. It is a huge reassurance that these guys continue to answer my call every time and are there when I need them. Amir, the business owner, is friendly, accommodating, and hands on. He gets involved to make sure things are done right and will come out to help you when the rest of his team is busy. He is an absolute savant. Roy is also great. He's friendly, easy to work with, reliable, and experienced. He always answers my calls and texts and is there when I need him. I am fortunate to have found such a great local partner and highly recommend them for all of your HVAC needs.

Their people are nice and were easy to talk to during the job. They followed up a couple times afterwards to ensure everything was working well and were available should we need any further adjustments. In fact the wind blew something off our roof and they came back and replaced the missing part even though it wasn't their issue.

I'm really happy to be writing this. It's been 11 years since I left my first review of AirWorks,…read moreand I still stand by what I said back then. I don't think you can measure a business when everything is going perfectly. You measure a business by how they handle things when it doesn't go as planned. Everything has been going great, but we recently had a little hiccup when I added a whole home water filtration system. I was a little frustrated and it took a little bit to get the right person on the phone, but I'm really happy to know that they are the same company from 11 years ago. They went above and beyond to take care of the problem. I've heard nightmare stories about other companies in the area that will install something and if there is a problem, you are on your own. I see a 1-star review from someone who was frustrated with lack of customer service. I was frustrated with this too. The AI phone interface can be frustrating, but there are good people working there who are trying to do the right thing. It just might take a little bit of patience to get the right person on the other end of the phone. I do know that they are addressing this problem. Julian is my plumber and Sam is my HVAC guy and when they come to the house it's like having old friends visit. At the end of the day, that's what keeps me coming back to them. The work is solid, the technicians are knowledgeable, and when something does come up they stand behind what they do. Eleven years later, that still says a lot about the kind of company they are. I have no hesitation to call them for some of the bigger upcoming purchases that our household needs, like a new AC unit and a tankless water heater. I am very happy with how they addressed this past issue and will be calling them in the future.

28 Documented Code Violations - Official City Inspection Failure…read more I hired Fleetwell for an HVAC relocation and installation. On March 23, 2026, a City of Agoura Hills building inspector conducted an official Rough Mechanical Inspection. The inspection had 28 documented corrections. The inspector's report (Correction #28) states that due to the volume of errors, the report may not even be a complete list of required corrections. The following facts are documented in the official City record and project timeline: Unpermitted Work Timeline: The contractor performed major mechanical and structural work, including the removal of the furnace/condenser on Feb 19 and the full installation of the new system on Feb 26. However, City records show the permit was not obtained until March 16--nearly three weeks after the equipment was installed. Substandard Materials (R6 vs. R8): The contractor installed R-6 ductwork throughout the project. The approved permit and Title 24 energy calculations explicitly require R-8 insulation. Correcting this requires a complete tear-out and replacement of the duct system, not a simple "mid-job" adjustment. Safety & Document Integrity: The contractor submitted a signed affidavit to the City on March 16 certifying that smoke and carbon monoxide alarms were installed and functional. The Inspector officially documented that these alarms are missing (Correction #25). Life-Safety Hazards: The Inspector identified an illegal "pigtail" extension cord used to power the furnace (Correction #11) and improperly sloped vent piping in the attic (Correction #22), which are documented fire and carbon monoxide risks. Structural Failures: The installation failed to provide the legally required 24" wide unobstructed catwalk and 30"x30" working platform (Correction #7/8). This requires a structural rework of the installation area to meet safety codes. The contractor was a "no-show" for the mandatory City inspection despite acknowledging the schedule via text. Because these 28 violations render the property legally uninhabitable, I am incurring a documented loss of rental income. A formal complaint has been filed with the CSLB and a claim has been initiated against their contractor's bond.
