To everyone that recommended Lendy's as the "best" wings, here's my personal experience of the past hour and a half. Arrival at 6 pm, seated at 6:10, order taken at 6:15 pm. Asked "manager/owner" (who was our server) at 7:40 where our food was. Owner says "another 20 minutes". Server never came to our table between the hour and 25 minutes. Ended up walking out with no consolation. Also, to those of you concerned with health and covid concerns, none of their back of house staff had gloves, hair nets, or masks. read more

We got the spicy garlic Parmesan wings, second hottest Buffalo sauce, and Cajun dry rub, and a Reuben Sandwhich. The wings were dry. Sauces weren't great. The hot wasn't spicy at all, but it was my first time and a to go order so I didn't really have a good gauge on the spice levels. I prefer the sauces from Dirty Buffalo and Buffalo Wild Wings. Recently noticed Lendy's has committed to regular Karaoke on the first Saturday of the month. We are Karaoke fans and appreciate not having to drive across town to find it. Think we caught them on a BAD day. They were HIGHLY recommended for lunch, especially for their wings. We took a large group of 12, and they were GREAT about setting us up with a large table. That is about as good as it got for this experience. Although our waitresses were FUN and working HARD to make us feel LOVED. Our food took FOREVER (over 40 minutes) to come to the table. To make matters worse, 2 out of our 4 orders of wings came to the table refrigerator COLD! The waitress IMMEDIATELY tried to make up for it by grabbing us another order of wings, but even those were COLD. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen, but it WAS NOT cooking HOT wings. Everyone else had GOOD lunches aside from the 40+ minute delay. For the rest of the day, I felt sick to my stomach, and I had pretty bad indigestion (sour stomach). I would love to try it one more time with a smaller group (since it is a fairly small place), and see if the wings are as fabulous as the reputation. Thinking Lendy's just does not handle large groups well. I would say give this place a TRY, but keep the group SMALL. read more

Obviously a true locals place with outstanding wings but so much more to offer. Very clean establishment with numerous TV's for watching sports. Tried the old bay wings and Cajun wings to start. Both were cooked to perfection with crunchy, flavorful skin with moist, tender meat. One of the top three in wing category I ever tasted during my life, at least they were when ordered this past Saturday. Numerous customers were ordering wings due to their popularity and many flavors to choose from. Tried the fried flounder with Cole slaw and salad too. Stopped in because of on reviews on yelp. Had a beer while I ordered take for the family, back in the campground. We got two different orders of wings, which Yelp said they were known for. They didn't disappoint. Awesome. Also got the quesadilla with blackened pulled chicken with jalipinos and two cheeses. This was excellent also. Maybe better than the wings! Great service and friendly. Location is a bit iffy, as my nav unit had me a block over in a different strip mall. They are nestled in a corner of a strip mall across from where Waze put me. All good though once you find them. There are tons of police and fire patches on the walls making me think this is a favorite of the local FD and PD, which isn't a bad clue to a good locals place. Some of the best buffalo wings in VB! And the fries are great too! The buffalo sauce they use taste house made -it is very unique. Spicy but flavorful. An order of fries is Huge enough to eat Four portions out of. Their prices are reasonable and their drinks are huge too. This is a local bar setting but everyone is treated like a friend. They make the order fresh so plan on a 20 -30 min. wait. Highly recommend. read more

Never going there again. Staff was angry at something all night. Distant and rude service. Wings were Luke warm, nachos were old. When I was served the nachos, the cheese was cold and hard. I went there 2 weeks ago to watch some football and enjoy some beer and I can honestly say Lendy's has the best wings in Hampton Roads. I had the garlic parmesan flavor and they were juicy, moist and just perfect and not dry like some other places I've had parmesan wings at. The other flavors rule too! The fries were bangin too and the beer prices are pretty good and they do have a happy hour monday thru friday! By far the best wings in Hampton Roads and the burgers are on point too! The genius of making "hot wings" hot while still being deliciously flavorful... that's what Lendy's does. So often it seems that 'hot for the sake of hot' is the status quo; wings that taste bad but are indeed hot. Not Lendy's! If you like wings with a bite you can get truly delicious wings made with habanero, scorpion and Carolina reaper sauces that will tickle your lips and your taste buds. It's an impressive feat to make them so good AND so hot. Oh, and my wife hates spicy wings. Lendy's covers that, too. In particular, she fiends for the honey & Old Bay wings. I would probably review the food, if it had arrived in a timely manner. I was the last of the group to arrive. Not that it mattered, but all of us were on duty with EMS, all in uniform, all with radios which were dispatching other units. My drink order was taken and filled quickly. I was then told that the next set of orders (mine and two others who had arrived five minutes earlier) would be taken by "Them", as she pointed to someone over her shoulder. The food arrived for the first group who arrived, who needed to leave almost immediately thereafter, but, as is our practice, the orders were made "To Go." After being ignored for the next 15 min (well, there was a drink refill offered) a server finally came over after being flagged down to take our order (no apology). 20 minutes later, the complex order (two burgers, one ruben, and fries with all of them) finally appeared. Interestingly enough, the bills showed up almost immediately thereafter, without having to ask. We opted not to eat at the restaurant, as we had been sitting there long enough. As luck would have it, I was sent off on a call as I was heading to my vehicle. I will say, the ruben would probably been OK had I eaten it warm, the fries were not even tolerable, but, since my drink had been 75% ice, it was still cold, though perhaps watered down. It is pretty clear that this was a one time occurrence, as I will not be bothering with the place again. Caveat emptor. read more

I just moved here from Tennessee 2 1/2 yrs ago but I used to order the wing sauce from this place all the time for parties that I used to have. And I always got great reviews about the Below hell wing's that I made and if I didn't cook the wings and add the sauce, my guest would be mad at me! (Lol) so I made it where I would always have below he'll wing sauce at the house even though I couldn't eat them! So basically what I'm saying is that, this place has the ultimate wing sauces for your wings at any function or gathering that may be going on!!! When my friend took me here for lunch I had second thoughts the minute I walked in. The appearance of the bar was telling me to call the health inspector additionally the waitress said if were ordering food to expect an extra 30 min wait. But we sat down and ordered lunch anyways.
