Stopped by for Happy Hour (Wed-Fri, 3-5) and the place has a cool, upscale downtown Naperville vibe. They seem to always have something going on every other Friday is comedy or live jazz, and this Wednesday they had Mahjong night. I tried the steak tacos. They looking better than they tasted. The steak was pretty chewy, and the tacos just didn't quite work for me. Since Happy Hour is still new, I'm willing to chalk it up to that. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu because the atmosphere is worth it. Hopefully the food is a little more dialed in next time.

I am glad it's here, open and in a great space (the old Craftsmen). I am interested to see how the event space on the second floor is when it opens, along w the top floor (steak house?) as that is a great (small) patio. But, everything that ha been in the building has struggled. Service - fabulous, friendly and fast. Atmosphere- we sat on the sidewalk and it was great. Love the plantings, but the DJ just isn't my thing. Food - good. Int to see how "tapas" does here w Maison S a few min away. This isn't traditional tapas - my guest lives in Madrid and was surprised they called it tapas. Burger was very good, but small, especially for $22. We loved the steak bites and burrata. $40 marg was delicious, but that is Chicago club pricing (I think - it's been a long time). We had a great evening, loved the service and food was good. I hope they continue to evolve and be successful over the long winter

Lennon's serves tapas and craft cocktails in an aesthetically pleasing space. The second floor of this three-story restaurant has live entertainment and the top floor is slated to be a steakhouse. Sarah took care of us and was fabulous, friendly and engaging. She was always checking on us. My husband ordered an old-fashioned and I went with Sarah's suggestion, the Cloud Cover. Pisco, spiced pineapple, lemon juice and egg white - delightful. We shared four small plates for dinner starting with a beautiful gem salad. Watercress with blue cheese, snap peas, apple slices, cranberries dressed with a sherry vinaigrette. My only complaint was the salad was overdressed. Of course when I see deviled eggs on a menu, it's a must. The BLT deviled eggs didn't disappoint with its smokey bacon. The next small plate we shared was the charred Spanish octopus with gigante beans and red chili aïoli. The octopus was tender and charred perfectly. Last up, the beef tenderloin steak bites skewered with mushrooms with a chimichurri sauce and fried leeks. There were only two small steak bites on each of the three skewers, a very small portion. Definitely not worth $24 for the amount of steak that probably amounted to 2-3 ounces. However, the steak was tender and flavorful, but the star of the show actually was the fried leeks. Just give me a plate of those. We ended our dining experience sharing a dessert, the granny smith tarte tatin. A nice ending to our meal. I hope to go back to experience Lennon's brunch on a weekend, also an evening listening to live music on the second floor with one of their craft cocktails in hand. I hope this restaurant succeeds because everything from the decor to the friendly staff to the delicious food and creative cocktails was fantastic.

Loved the service, trendy vibe, amazing new spot in downtown Naperville. Live entertainment on the second floor and steak house coming soon on the third floor. The owner was extremely kind and approachable.

The Lennon's Big Burger is amazing, highly recommend Adding the fried egg is a must!

Le P'tit was the first to pop up on my feed and immediately caught my attention due to its unique menu, historic building, and secluded outdoor oasis for the fair weather seasons. When asked where I wanted to have dinner on my birthday, the answer was easy, L'ptit! We were greeted by the Chef Chopra outside, who welcomed us and asked us to choose the seat that suited us best in or outdoors. We chose a seat outside as it seemed most guests were enjoying the nice weather in the garden. Chef Chopra introduced himself and explained the complimentary montadito, and presented the current specials. We loved that he took time to ask what brought us in, and when we said that we were building a new home in Bartlett only minutes away, he shared that although he has been all over the world he always misses good old Bartlett, IL. This is the kind of connection and service you won't find at franchise restaurants! We enjoyed cocktails, myself a dirty tini with bleu cheese stuffed olives, and my husband the traditional old fashioned and the P'tit old fashioned - both of which he enjoyed. We ordered the hummus for an appetizer - my husband never orders humus. Not a drop was left. It was so flavorful, and since I am intolerant to gluten we loved that it was served with cucumber "chips". We will definitely order this again! Our entrees were both specials - mine the steak and shrimp tower and my husband's the Birria. We could t decide whose was better. The shrimp and steak were so flavorful and beautifully cooked, and the beef and consommé of my husband's was out of this world. My takeaways from Le P'tit: We will be there - regularly, before we move into our home, and after! Have a cocktail, they are fabulous. Talk to Chef Chopra any chance you get. He has seen the world and loves to see his guests enjoying his menu and the atmosphere of his establishment. This is what supporting local is about! Enjoy your time at Le P'tit. Savor. Take a moment to slow down, disconnect from the outside and connect with the ones around you and enjoy the wonderfully and thoughtfully prepared dishes on the menu. We can't wait to be back!

They have an excellent bar up front and make great cocktails- my husband and dad both love the classic old fashion! I'm a sucker for a nice glass of Pinot Noir. If you're dining in (and you really should!) The pasta bolognese is a must have. Always amazing. And the black pepper shrimp over polenta is an amazing appetizer! So rich and delicious. These are both part of my go-to order here. Recently expanded my order and tried the short rib over polenta for the first time, it was amazing. Tender. Flavorful. Good sized portion. Wonderful. Will absolutely get again. For dessert, and there's always room for dessert here in my opinion, I love to get the rich panna cotta. This past time though we got the butterscotch budino, which was smooth and rich without being overly sweet. It was perfect to share (or not)! Just enough hint of butterscotch and topped with a crumbled shortbread cookie to an add a little crunch to the otherwise creamy treat. The staff is always helpful in making recommendations to suit your tastes too! There is a call ahead wait list and they've also started taking reservations. Having been to COA before, my brother and I suggested it which worked out even better than expected! First the service was top notch from beginning to end. Our server was Ana, who was kind, super attentive, and made some excellent recommendations that was delicious. The food is exquisite in and of itself. We ordered several hot tapas in addition to a mixed paella and three skirt steak tacos. A couple of the tapas only had three servings and seeing as how we had 4 in the party, she upped the amount to 4. Now that's called dedication. During the course of the night, one of the member's of my party had a slight accident. Well management (Carlos and Kim) was on top of it from the get go and GRACIOUSLY took care of us throughout the night, making sure our service was OK. Hospitality like this is rare because you don't see many members of management walking table to table to make sure their guests are having a good experience. And Carlos did that throughout the night. Come for the food, stay for the experience. You won't be disappointed!
