This may be their best location. Cece the young lady who is there most often when I swing by for my lunch makes me choose to go here over other options. She makes you feel like you're in Cheers with her cheery upbeat attitude, welcomes me by name & knows my usual by heart. I truly miss the days of your neighborhood spots being grateful for their regulars & providing that extra personal touch that makes you feel good spending your hard earned money there. If it's been one of those days at work, I definitely opt to go there knowing my belly will be full from the sandwich & salads I love, but my heart will be as well. Girl can just turn a bad day around! I feel like it's a freebie with my meal. The food was fine (I hope). As I was eating, I noticed the front end employee was eating and playing on his phone as well as helping customers. We were the only customers in the building. I didn't necessarily see him wash his hands. I know he handled other items without gloves. Eventually, I did see him put gloves on to make an order when the other employee came to the front. I would think that would be a health code violation. Just be careful when you eat out. You don't know what these employees are doing. Evidently, cleanliness isn't top priority at this store. read more

Wellllll once again our order is wrong. It's probably 90% of the time. I ordered a chicken philly with just meat and cheese. Simple right? NOPE....loaded with onions. My wife ordered a club sandwich. It no bacon, no oil and vinegar, no salt and pepper and was loaded with onions. This was an online order so it should be real simple to read the order. I need to make a comment about your 5780 airline rd Arlington TN location. The two girls working there today on July 15 were the best employees I think an establishment could ever have. We are traveling military and had been going through it, when our car broke down. My children and I came there to get drinks and get out of the heat. The employees went ABOVE and BEYOND to be kind and helpful. I'm not sure what can be done to reward them. But I hope this message reaches their management. I really try not to "catch" an eatery @ its worst, timing-wise ~ but today after the Lunch "Rush" (if there was one), & before School was out:: Lenny's Manager was standing @ the Register, (2) other Employees were not busy. Only (1) Diner. Tabletops & Floors were dirty. She saw me take a photo of the Menu Board & started bussing tables & booths (I didn't take photos till they were cleaned). I sat @ the 1st one she cleaned. When I left 30 minutes later, the (3) were conversing & the broom/dustpan were still sitting there waiting. Maybe they DIDN'T realize Why I was taking photos? Not as good as the Millington location. Very sloppily put together and NO attention was paid to the order. I ordered spicy mustard and mayonnaise and both were left off. My husband didn't want pepper relish and he got it. His mouth was burning from it. The bell pepper was HUGE chunks. When originally opened, this Lenny's location was kept spotless, had excellent customer service, and served a great sandwich/salad. In the years since, it has really gone downhill. My hot sandwiches are rarely, if ever, prepared as ordered -- and I'm not asking for anything special. The personnel seem bothered to have customers at all. And the prep area as well as the storefront is neither well-kept nor inviting. The whole place and the whole experience feels worn out! The only upside is that quite a few of the Lenny's locations in the Memphis area have the same issues. read more

Ordered on line. Paid in full. It showed a $2 discount, I thought Yea!!! Well when I picked it up I was told I had a balance for $2 plus tax! Ridiculous! So beware if you are ordering on line. I have been to other Lenny's locations (like on Hwy 64) and enjoyed their Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and their Meatball sandwich (my current favorite) I was in Arlington and tried their Meatball sandwich. Honestly, it was revolting. The meatballs were hard, crusty and dried out like they had been sitting around WAY too long or reheated too many times. I might as well have been biting into a lump of charcoal. Severely disappointed. read more

I Really don't enjoy ordering from this place. A call in order generally comes out as incorrect and the staff are rude. It seems they think they're doing me a favor when I order. I've given them a lot of business due to lack of options in the area and it never fares well. Marteveous should not be in a management position! Picked up a sandwich from here today and bottom of the bread was as hard as a brick! I called the manager Montavious and he said the bread was hard because it hadn't had time to oxidate. Who gives a flying flip. Hard bread is hard bread. My fiancé ate half of a 10 inch sandwich with only one piece of bread. I couldn't bite mine because of implants. Manager told me to bring it back and he would replace. We were on a construction site putting down 40 pallets of sod so I DIDN'T EAT LINCH!! 10 hours later I return the sandwich. Cashier calls manager Marteveous and he tells her to make me a 5 inch sandwich. I said that's an insult on top of my inconvenience. So she gave me half my money back. Folks always griping about something but this has been a solid choice any day or night. They accommodated my kids wanting something not on the menu and that's fantastic service. She had a very positive affirmative response that they can do a simple ham and cheese or a BLT. Neither of those are on the menu. That's how you keep happy customers coming back! The last 4 times I've gone in here they have screwed up part of my order or it's taken 30 minutes to get one sandwich . On top of that this is the only location that has fully given up on making their lemonade. After 4 times I figured something needs to be said . I ordered one buffalo chicken philly with onions and lettuce only, and they forget the lettuce. On top of that I noticed the girl on the grill making my sandwich while on the phone. I never....EVER write reviews, but felt the need to this time. Ordered online due to the stupid covid, order was coming off the grill as I walked in!! And it was exactly correct. As far as the employees go... would give 6 stars if there was the option....Friendly, respectful and helpful. Which its sad in today's time where you automatically expect bad service, by people who don't care, and have to recognize good service when it happens. Should be the norm, and maybe it is with the staff they had that night. But good work!! read more

Had not been anywhere to eat in weeks with Covid-19 about. Decided to get a couple of sandwiches for a change. These are 'to go' so you don't stand there and take the sandwich apart at the counter. The order was phoned in. One was the special to be on wheat but it was on white. The second was the #1. Get home, unwrap it and no meat...just the veggies. This is a management issue. You wonder what is an acceptable error rate for this franchise. The two preparers, no masks, yacked the whole time. They were not busy. I called back and was offered free sandwiches...reminds me of 'we burned the french fries so we gave you extra.' Well, we gave them 2 chances to do it right....but they got it wrong both times. The first time we ordered 2 sandwiches online . They only made 1 and put it on the wrong bread. After insisting they were right they went back to the computer, and found they were wrong...So, no problem, just make the second one now with the right bread...could they handle that? ....No.... Got home and both were on white bread. So, then we thought ...heck anyone can have a bad day...let's give them another try (this was a week later). Online ordering was not working so we walked in and ordered 2 philly cheese steak subs....this time when we got home, we discovered they got the bread right, but forgot the cheese?!?!?!! Really????
