While the esthetician Natalia is good and friendly, the location for the service is terrible. The receptionist are rude and unprofessional. It's 3 days post service and I'm still waiting on a promised follow up call to schedule my next appointment, The customer service is terrible. Ive been calling the location for two days with no response. I got someone on the phone once, she said hello and the then hung up. Haven't been able to get through since. The waiting area is unkempt. There is too much happening at this location and you don't feel safe. I wish i could see Natalia at a different location because she's good. I will start off by stating that I purchased a groupon for this place, and will more than likely just let it go to waste due to my first visit. I went in for a Microdermabrasion on a Saturday afternoon. I was running a bit late, so I was met by my specialist at the desk, whom did not introduce herself, however lead me down this windy road of steps and turns into our room. Once in the room I asked her name and told her mine. I laid down and she began to ask about my skin regimen. She did not review my paperwork which had much of that information on it. As she began the treatment, I asked questions, as I'd never had this procedure in the past. I feel that she should've explained everything beforehand, or as we were in the process, without me having to ask. She recommended some products and another service at this location, after I asked more questions about the upkeep. My face felt a bit sticky after I left, not sure that it should've. She was nice but could've been waaaaaay more engaging and informing. But that's not it. As I began to gather my things. I saw a dead bug laying on the floor, on the side, somewhat discreetly. Had this room really been cleaned upon opening, they would've seen this, so I have to think that it hadn't been in maybe a few days. I told the front desk employee about it, to which she stated she would tell the manager about it, however I've not received a call from the manager at all, or anyone for that matter. I unfortunately forgot the person who helped me but she was really nice and I loved her energy. After my treatment was done she took me on a tour to check out the laser machine that they use. We walked back to the front to discuss special deals for my next appointment and I told that my laser treatment would be more because the lady at the front desk ASSUMED I identified as a MAN. I also saw a sign on the wall saying "LEAVE A YELP REVIEW & Get A FREE LASER". I pointed to the sign and wanted to discuss a possible treatment if I left a review. She told me I could get the lower "female price". I identify as a Non-Binary person and it was extremely uncomfortable to have to discuss pricing infront of other customers because of my gender. I came here for laser hair removal. They had a deal on Groupon but I decided to call them beforehand and they offered me a better deal. Throughout my process I had 4 different laser technicians work on me. They all left. I'm not sure why but they have undergone through many changes since I first started out. I think my results were okay. They had a good understanding of the machine and my skin. But my results would have been better if I had been able to go as scheduled. Part of that was my fault but they were also to blame. When I first started out, they were open on Saturdays and some Sundays. Then they changed it to just every other Saturday. I'm only able to go on the weekends because I work till 6pm and the latest they take people in during the weekday is 5pm. I also have to account for travel time so basically it would cost me money to go during the weekdays. Now, they are no longer open on the weekends. So this won't work out. I think they will lose out on a lot of costumers by having such a limited availability. They are also hard to get in touch with. They don't always pick up the phone and they don't seem to listen to their voicemails. This place is good if you live/work in the area or if you're free during the weekdays. And their results for laser hair removal are good but not great. read more

The only reason this is a one star review is because of the mostly decent microdermabrasion other than that if a negative star was available that would've been too deserving & please believe the validity of the this review because I can't make this up. First off I had a 10am appt which I confirmed twice & specifically asked if the 10AM meant 10AM. To their standards I guess it doesn't. It meant they will probably have someone there at 10 & you as the client can stand outside in the cold waiting until someone shows up & in that case someone eventually did. It was the facial tech that specified she doesn't know why I'm there cause the computers were down so she doesn't know what I want. I came in with my receipt, I had already prepaid my services & expressed to her that I was in for a microdermabrasion, she went & got the dental "manager" from the other side of the facility & he expressed he can charge me for my service on his side.. again I expressed my services have already been paid for! After being escorted into a small facial room that smelled of damp towel I have to say the microdermabrasion was decent. This was not the only service I paid for, I was also there for a filler, both the front desk personnel & the medical assistant pushed for a product that I didn't pay for nor request, I wasn't being charged extra for the other product but they pushed pretty hard for it. Either way my product that I paid for & wanted was not available because they "used the last one" on the person that CAME IN AFTER ME! How do you not check inventory against clientele & make sure you can accommodate everyone. I was told their 125th Street Location has the product but were unable to have it brought over to me. I was refunded for the full amount of my prepaid services, also was contacted by someone who identified themselves as the manager & offered a new appt with a discount. I just booked an appointment with an EXTREMELY rude receptionist (she claimed she was the manager) and felt compelled to to express it I'm that upset. I'm keeping my appointment with the hopes that the positive reviews on the service itself will make up for the fact I was treated like an annoyance. This is how the conversation went... Me- "I'd like to book Botox and cheek filler (juvederm) but have a few questions" Receptionist- "That will be $119 for Botox and $299 for juvederm with taxes and I need your credit card" (She was talking SO fast I could hardly hear her) Me- "I understand I have to pay for the services but wanted to know about undereye/cheek filler options and prep/recovery etc.." Receptionist- "you have to pay first and we don't do cheek or undereye filler now just lip filler" Me -"I'm having a hard time hearing you but want to go ahead and book the Botox" Receptionist- So So So snotty "I'm Sorrrrrrry you can't hear me but so you want to book it or not. Decide!" It's hard to write how condescending and rude her tone was, but I was so off put. I went ahead and booked Botox and paid in advance and will update my review after the actual service. My fingers are crossed she just had awful phone manners and the doctor is just as great as reviews lead me to believe. Note to the business- why not hire someone who is friendly and helpful? I tried booking an appointment here so many times but the days were just unavailable. So when I finally booked an appointment I thought it was the 31st but Their RUDE receptionist told me it was the 30th and their policy requires a $50 fee OR losing your Groupon. So I ask The receptionist do you give your customers a reminder ? A call? Email? Or text? She said no because that not our policy and it up to you to make your appointment and it wasting our time for a "No show." I'm pretty sure they give good facials. First, both Priya and Natasha are so wonderfully warm and friendly that I felt at ease right away. Natasha is so positive and supportive. She loves what she does and you can tell by the attention and care she gives throughout a service. While the office can be crowded sometimes, don't fret as your appointment will happen right on time. Like a few other reviews have already stated, the receptionist is a bit mean, it may be a cultural difference where things get lost in translation but either way its not in alignment with what Im used to from the rest of the staff who are all very friendly and accommodating. They continue to offer groupons but then claimed the voucher couldnt be used once I tried to make an appointment. Here's the thing about that though, if business was booming they wouldn't need the income and the marketing/exposure that groupon provides. Its very easy to end up like several other CLOSED businesses in New York City. Additionally, if I had attempted to purchase the same offer the site wouldn't have allowed me to go past the purchase maximum. Different voucher, different year, different service. So why would I pay full price when there's an offer available to pay less? The paint on the spa is barely even dried and that high horse is still a pony, darling. Do people not realize how easy it is to find another place to get a Brazilian wax in this city? I like Lenox Laser but I also like several other spas in the city. I don't need Lenox Laser, but Lenox Laser needs customers like me. People are not exactly running to Harlem to get spa treatments and the rent cannot be paid with attitude and nonsensical rules. This is the absolute worst business I have ever experienced in my entire life!!! Do not go here!!! I found this business on Groupon after seeking a place to get juvederm for my lips. I made one phone call and they offered me a discounted price of $296 if I payed over the phone. They continuously called me until I made an appointment and I specifically requested a Doctor to do it who specializes in Juvederm. I was promised a Doctor. When I arrived at the office in Harlem for my appointment, I was given a PA who made me feel very uncomfortable. Again, I requested a Doctor not a PA. I was so nervous by her that she said I should consume alcohol the next time I come in. I was appalled. When she started the injections I felt tingly and fainted. She continued to do the injections even though I wasn't completely awake. My lips were so bumpy and I made a follow up appointment to return to have them fixed which I was promised on the phone. When I returned for the follow up appointment which I drove 3 hours for they had me waiting for over two hours and the doctor who was a "Harvard grad" said that she would fix them and re inject the juvederm. She then said she had to call for the product because they were out and the office never bothered to call me back to follow up and fix my lips. Now I am left with bumpy uneven lips and have to have a root canal because it effected My teeth and gums. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE they are crooks and only want to take your money!!!! read more
