Five days ago, I invested a significant amount of time and energy at the Lens Crafters within Macy's, meticulously selecting frames and discussing lens options for two pairs of glasses. Today, I received a wrong frame with wrong prescription order. I am extremely disappointed by the inadequate service provided by an inexperienced representative and the store manager, Lena. Despite Lena's kind offer to reorder lenses with the correct prescription, I later discovered they had also selected the wrong frame for me. With the wrong prescription-related stress, I didn't realize that the frame I received was not the light blue one I had chosen, nor was it from the brand I had selected. Very unpleasant experience. I'll call them tomorrow to fix their mistakes. I am so tired of them. read more

Awful services and such a long wait. Wanted to order glasses but was pushed by the salesman and eventually want satisfied with the results. Gave me so many frames there was no place to put them. And when I came to see the doctor I had to wait for an hour even having an appointment. And they adjusted the glasses so incorrectly that I regretted even thinking about buying new glasses - my old ones were way better. Then they wouldn't return my money saying they had no cash and insisted on the money order in 2 weeks which will be mailed to me. These guys are the worst. read more

Absolutely the worst experience ever! Took my prescription glasses back because the glasses were wrong and badly made. The counter woman, Ms. Lopez was condescending, rude, arrogant and smug. She immediately went into an "upgrade diatribe" trying to get me to spend even more money and then she proceeded to assist another customer interrupting me. Eventually, she spoke the words, "you need to chill the f*ck out!" I was horrified at her street behavior! She continued berating me as she took her time trying to process my refund. She obviously did not know how to operate the cash register. After waiting a very long while with her on the phone trying to learn her job I was finally able to get my money refunded after being insulted continually. NOT RECOMMENDED! This is hands down the best LC location I've been to, having been a LC customer for more than 6 years now I have visited about 4 different locations. They have the best selection even though it's a small place. It's located inside the Macy's upstairs so don't be fooled by this. The service is outstanding and second to none. I'll be back to this specific location for all my optical needs. Luz and Nancy made the whole process flawless. Very happy to spend my hard earned money here. Management should take notice of their efforts to make customers feel welcomed. read more

Very small Lenscrafters outlet on the 8th floor of Macy's Beverly Center. The best experience in this place is Doris Boudaie, Doctor of Optometry (see separate review). She is a genius, plain and simple. It's also convenient if you don't want to go to the madhouse Lenscrafters a few blocks east on Beverly, mainly b/c it's very quiet. But the selection is very tiny in comparison, and the store lacks any type of "cachet." Go if you can't stand crowds. read more

Lens Crafters is the worst eye glass place I ever had glasses made. The eyeglass Dr. Apparently isn't good at all. I went to get my glasses, put them on and wow...they were blurry and double crossed that I couldn't see or read anything. They asked me for my old glasses and they tried to copy the lens and screwed up again. I can't stand in my kitchen and read the cereal box so I put on my old glasses and was able to read it. My husband purchased a pair of glasses and had an accident for the blurry vision, his was hospitalized for two week and still was told there is nothing they can do after 30 days. What is wrong with them people??? The hospital have a nurse coming out to the house twice a week behind his injuries so how do they expect him to get his glasses right?? You can't ever drive and glance at a bus stop without recking your car because of the poorly made glasses. When I arrived here in the US, I got my first eyeglasses from them. After few months I lost my one of my lens so I went to them coz I wanted it replace. I went here for my eye exam...I understand they are trying to make money but they offer you more stuff and over sell. They are very slow and they don't care when people are waiting long. I waited 3 hours until they finally got my eyes checked. This was ridiculous. I did agree to pay $75 for a quick exam and when I even bought glasses. When I tried on the glasses they never put the prescription lenses in and tried to charge me $400 more on top of the glasses price. I feel like they tried to scam me and I wouldn't go for it. read more

The second time there was only one lady that is working " I believe her name was Nancy " I gave her my insurance and she couldn't find me. It happens a lot because I don't have a social security she just need to call and confirm. Anyways she refused to help me. And when I asked her to call the insurance just to confirm me she reused.
