Worst service ever! Made an appointment for 5pm and was informed that my 5pm appointment was given to another person that just showed up. Unbelievable!!! Why even make an appointment?! The clerk at the desk said she can reschedule my appointment, this was the last slot for the day and I had to leave work early to make it by 5pm. This is totally unacceptable and if this is the kind of service offered, forget it! I was told that they needed a confirmation on the appointment that was set. Absolutely unacceptable business behavior. Now I see why these Lens Crafters are going out of business and get such poor reviews! Avoid this place at all costs! read more

I came here with a new prescription looking for a frame I'd love, and I left with two that I do! For my everyday pair, I chose the simple gold frame from Vogue, and for my sunglasses, I chose Rayban clubmasters. I'm obsessed with both! I don't like to wear contacts much or progressive lenses, so I'm happy getting both! They were able to use my insurance, so it saved me lots of money. Wendy was amazing. She made sure to use my insurance first on the most expensive pair, the Raybans as to save me more money! The vogue pair are wide enough, so I can see everything and don't really see the frame in my vision. They are also light, making them not heavy on my ears. What I love about getting Rayban sunglasses here is they have actual Rayban make them. So that means authentic Rayban lenses, and if you don't know, they are some of the best sunglasses lenses. The tint is perfect, and I love the fit! It only took 5 days for my glasses to be ready for pickup, and Wendy helped me again with adjusting them to my face so they fit nicely. They have great optometrists. But do not buy your glasses here. They inflated the cost radically. I have insurance, and they basically told me it wouldn't help. They said they had a special price plan of their own that was better. Long story short, they wanted to charge me $1500-for a single pair of glasses! And my insurance wasn't even helpful. I think it came in around $80 more by using my insurance. I went to a competitor's store, and they were nowhere near that price! I got Oakley frames and several extras on my lenses and after all that, the total was perhaps only 3/5 of what I was quoted here. And my insurance covered much of it! This must come from LensCrafters corporate. I can't imagine the store doing that on their own. Avoid them like the plague if you want to get a fair price. read more

First off, Alana, she's an angel! She didn't rush me, was so kind and gave honest opinions and was very considerate of my budget which was greatly appreciated. She also spent the time to adjust my frames to fit ME perfectly so that I don't end up with a sore head after a month. I've had my glasses now for a few weeks and have gotten lots of compliments so I'm just overall very happy with my experience here! Usually I go to Americas Best because of the deals they always offer, but the bottom line after all the necessary add on's always ended up being pretty expensive anyways. I didn't like that I was paying so much for subpar customer service and glasses that break or hurt my head after a month. So this time after my glasses broke, I decided to come here. FOR BRIARGATE LOCATION: Told on day if appt that doc was on the east coast but would see my daughter "virtually". Appt was for 5. We arrived 5:05. Apparently all escalators broken at this mall and the mall directory is only located on 2nd floor??? (Never been to this mall before). Got to LensCrafters at 5:10-ish (after waiting for elevator to free up). Had first part of exam. Technician called doc (the one who was out of state). Fox said she "ended her day at 5 and was logged-off". Let me repeat the above: our appt was for 5. Doc had already logged-off by 5. Complete waste of our time (I'd never do this to a patient; but I'm not an eye doc, I'm an MD; guess standards are different). DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION! Go to Citadel. read more

I've purchased at least two (I think possibly three) sets of lenses and frames from this Lenscrafters location, and always received solid service. At times, I've wished their frame selection could be greater, but for the price point they offer, their options are more than adequate. (I've seen wider selections at more expensive places.) This location is also good about making minor adjustments to the way glasses fit, just on a walk-in basis. I've even walked in and had them make adjustments to glasses I didn't purchase there; they seemed happy to help, regardless of where the glasses came from. This location has an optometrist adjoining, making it convenient to pair an eye exam with an eyeglasses purchase. read more

I didn't purchase anything but went for a repair for my eyeglasses because I've lost one nosepad. The receptionist kindly directed me to the lab. It took only about 3 min. and the lab specialist replaced not only the missing nosepad, but he was gracious enough to replace the other one too, and they were even better than the original I had. When I asked how much I owe, he simply said, "don't worry about it." I am very thankful to the LensCrafters services. Thank you guys! read more

This used to be a good store....but no longer! I ordered glasses and paid for them in full. Then the lady told me they "didn't have any lenses in stock" and they would be in in a week. Four days later, she called and said "it could be weeks" before they come in. This is an eyeglass store???? I went into the store to get my refund and they had one girl working. When I told her why I was there, she waited on two other new customers first and made me wait 30 minutes!!! How do they stay in business? I obviously won't be back and will tell 100 people about my experience! read more

I needed to get new glasses and contact lenses - none of the staff even acknowledged that I was in the store. I had to ask for one of the sales associates for help, there was only one other customer in the store. The sales associates are not knowledgeable and helpful - they just seem like they're there than helping out the customers they come through. There are usually 2-3 associates on the floor when I go to to LensCrafters. Other than that, I would recommend going to Eyeglass World or ABBA Eyecare before coming here. read more

So apparently they have no idea how to treat customers or potential customers for their own products. I was looking for replacement temples for my Oakley Crosslink glasses (Oakley is owned by Luxottica and so is Lense Crafters) yet they seemed to have no idea what I was talking about or any care to really help. The woman even admitted that of the arms were broken they would just sell a new frame though the Oakley arms are replaceable. Shady people here! read more

DONT COME HERE! I got glasses an the day after I go them they started misshaping for no reason so I went back 5 TIMES to get the them fixed. I did like the style so I was will to work with them yet two months later they are still fucked. So I tried to return them I know it was 2 months after purchase but not once did they ask if I want get a new pair so now I'm stuck with these fucked up glasses. Spent money on them an I hate them. Wow! I'm on tour and asked if I could buy one pair of contacts to get me through my trip and the extremely rude receptionist at the doctors office said I would have to put in an order for 100 dollars worth of contacts so they could then and only then give me a trial pair. You know, being a franchise and after all the thousands of dollars I've spent on contacts and glasses through lens crafters the least they could do is help out their customers along the way. Way to over priced glasses are so expensive dont buy here. At least they have free wifi.

Do not recommend coming here. The staff is rude and unknowledgeable about vision benefits. They will say one thing and change later due to incompetence of knowledge. My experience at LensCrafters was in short, horrible. I went to LensCrafters because they advertise as a business that offers very discounted designer frames and that they will have your glasses ready in an hour. The employees were friendly at first and they had a very good selection but once I picked out my frames they gave me a discounted price but then tacked on hundreds of dollars in extras for very basic things like scratch resistant and anti-reflective. The total price ended up being over $400, almost twice what they told me it would be. As we finished up the details I was told that they had everything in stock and that my glasses would be ready in 1-3 hours. They took down my phone number and said they would call me as soon as my glasses were ready. I waited for almost four hours and went to the store. I had to wait for almost thirty mins just to ask someone about my glasses. When Someone finally came around to help me I was informed that my glasses wouldn't be ready for almost two weeks! I demanded a refund and event that was a big hassle. In the end I went back to my eye doctor and got the same frames for half the prices. The whole experience was absolutely ridiculous! read more
