By far the worst experience. Bought two pairs of glasses and was told that I would get two texts but to call the store if one text comes because sometimes both pairs of glasses will come. Received one text and called the store. Spoke to a guy name ERIC and he seriously was the rudest when I called. Said if I didn't get two texts they weren't here and hung up. That very same day I got my second text. Drove to the store and was told by Eric that there's only one pair of glasses at the store and then questioned if i really got a second text. Only one pair was there EVEN THOUGH HE SAID IF I GET TWO TEXTS BOTH WOULD BE THERE. And get this. HE SENT THE SECOND TEXT! As for his rudeness on the phone call all he could say was that he was busy. Well then don't answer the phone next time. All he did was give false information, admitted to sending the second text to me, said sorry about being rude cause he was busy. But all he seriously did was waste my time and gas! Tina the manager was about to fit me for the glasses that was there since I drove all the way to the store only to find out that they didn't install the nose pads that was ordered with the glasses. My experience seriously went from bad to worse. Spending over $700 on two pairs and this is what I get... so disappointed. Thank you Tina for trying to make this bad experience better even though at this point there was nothing you could do. Overall if you want your time wasted... I recommend you come here and speak to Eric.

The temple hinge had cracked off the main frame part and I took my glasses to Costco optical, LensCrafters, Jins in California and they all couldn't fix it. Jins USA couldn't even fit my old lenses in any of their frames because Jins USA is completely different stock from Jins Japan. I took my broken frame to Paris Miki Ala Moana because they sell Japan frames but they were not helpful and couldn't help me. I know I'm not the first person this has happened to so I was disappointed I couldn't find anyone to fix my glasses. I just include this part so you can avoid all the trouble and just come here if you have a similar problem. SEOUL OPTICAL is on the 12th floor in the Pacific Guardian Tower, which is next to Walmart across Makaloa. They open at 9am. It's not facing the street or in a shopping center so you have to go looking for it. Kenny is the optician and speaks both Korean and English and was extremely helpful and told me he can't fix the broken temple hinge but he did have some frames that would fit my lenses! He immediately showed me a few frames and I was out of there in 10 minutes with my new glasses. My new frames are made in Korea, they are even lighter than my Japan frames, and the nosepads are not the clear silicone ones that turn green after a while, they are silver and so cool. My frames were $150 which is a great price compared to Costco/Lenscrafters and because they are made in Asia, fit my face better than any American brand frames I own. Even if you're not Asian, I highly recommend this place for your optical needs, he does carry US name brand frames too, but the frames made in Asia are far superior and cheaper than a trip to Japan/Korea.

Seoul Optical - Pretty sure they've now got TWO 'cutting machines' so they can be cutting two customers' glasses at once.

Large selection of glasses too. So glad I switched over to Dream Vision Eye Care! The only minor caveat is that they have you browse their glasses selection after dilating your eyes, which made it a bit difficult to choose properly. My advice is to come in earlier to browse, or come back another day as parking is free/validated. Thank you!

I always feel sorry for whoever has to help me. It usually takes me 45-60 minutes. I tend to get the same style. I know what I like. I was shocked that I found one that I liked within 15 minutes. Maria is very good! Dr Poon found a retinal hole/tear on my eye. I am going to Pali Momi right now to laser repair it. I will go back for contact lenses as well.

I haven't gone to see him in close to 4 years so I have no idea. In the search for a new eye doctor that was near me Downtown Vision came up and with really good reviews. Being the holiday season they were busy so it took a month to be able to get an appointment on my day off but it was well worth the wait. Dr. Chun and his wife Mia are terrific! They're both extremely personable and I felt welcomed from the moment I stepped into their office. I ended up getting a pair of progressive bifocal glasses that I can use for work and close reading. I also had my regular distance lenses replaced on my older set and I couldn't be happier with both of them. I have no hesitation recommending them if you're in need of eye care.

They have this cool retina scanner that you can pay extra for to get a better map of it, seemed pretty nifty! Dr Lai was very helpful and patient with any questions I had and everyone was really professional and nice with us. Their COVID practices seemed good too. Would highly recommend this place and intend to go here regularly for our yearly checkup! Oh one other thing, I have a weird issue with the drops that dilate your pupils. In the past when i got them I would be dilated and spacey looking for 48 hours. I told Dr Lai this and she used much weaker drops and it helped a lot! Been seeing him for many, many years and was always highly pleased. Went in today for my annual eye exam and I needed new glasses. AFTER everything is done, the staff presents me with a bill for over $800 (apparently they no longer take Medicare and/or my Advantage plan)!!! I went straight home and called my Advantage provider. Then went back to the Optometrist's office -- had them cancel my credit card charge for the $800+ and just give me the prescription for the glasses I need. For some reason, they still wanted to charge me $100.......... Went to another Optometrist a couple of miles away, ordered my new glasses (which will be here in 1/2 the time as MidPacificEyecare) and it is ONLY costing me about $125........what a rip off!!!!
