Their doctors need to have a normal sized office, I had claustrophobia in the small over crowded office. It was ridiculous to have patients examined in the size of a closet that they called an office. Plus I asked for samples of a few of the colored expensive lenses, but there was barely any samples in stock she said. The lady at the front desk looked so unprofessional with her long straggly hair wearing a face mask, like we were at the height of Covid all over again. Everything about this office made me cringe and not want to return any time soon. I was given the prices for contact and glasses and told they were very reasonable. The next morning I went to Costco and the name brand stylish glass frames and colored contacts were almost 50% cheaper then the prices I was quoted in LensCrafters. read more

Overall just very to-the-point experience and a price point that is high even with insurance. I came here towards the end of the 2025 year and it was packed. When I asked the assistants, they said it was people using up their benefits before they expire. OH! Yeah, same here! Everything went pretty smoothly. It's a bit dated inside the patient area... dinged up walls and some counters that definitely need a touch up. Nothing out of the ordinary if you've ever been to LensCrafters or EyeExam of California. Same equipment. Same style. Same everything. The entire process was streamlined and I was out within an hour. Prices however, are on the high side for such a large commercial operation. But everything is as advertised. Just A-OK with me! Luisa robbed me for $70. I came in and purchased sunglasses. I saw the $70 for polarization and asked Luisa to remove it. Luisa said I HAD TO HAVE IT with sunglasses. I get my shades and when I look at my phone there is a rainbow strange tint. I call the store and Jose tells me oh yea that's the polarization. We can take it off if you dont like it. I explained how I told Luisa at the time of purchase I ddint want to pay for polarization. And Luisa said I had to have it with shades. Luisa said there was no way to remove it. I turned in my glasses to Jose to have them fixed. However Luisa smiled in my face while robbing me. I am disgusted to know she looked me in my face and lied then robbed me. Beyond disgusting. I have been to this location a few times and have mixed reviews. Pros: 1. professional eye exams with latest equipment 2. wide selection of designer and affordable frames (depending on your insurance you can get a discount on those frames) 3. same day service at many locations as long as the frame is in stock 4. If a frame that you like in a different color is not in stock, they will order it for you asap. Cons: 1. without insurance, prices for frames alone can be high 2. without insurance, prices for lenses alone can also be high. I have found that sometimes the staff will add extras to the lenses without really explaining the differences and you get tacked on a higher cost. 3. service experience varies depending on time of day and location. Overall, LensCrafters offers a convenient, one-stop shop for eye exams, prescription lenses, and a wide variety of frames. I also like how they do accept a varitey of insurances . I am not able to comment on their in-store eye exams as I usually do them with another optometrist so I just go to Lens Crafters with my updated prescription. read more

At this point, I felt I had to leave a review because of a bad customer experience I had with the sales staff at this LensCrafters location. Last year, I had to return to the store for measurements because they forgot to record them during my first visit. This year, I had an even worse experience. After my eye exam, I didn't have time to make a purchase, but I wanted to ask a few questions about my insurance coverage to see if anything had changed since last year. I was having a pleasant conversation with a sales associate who was very kind, and I asked a couple of follow-up questions. At that point, another sales associate abruptly stepped in, cut off the conversation, and said, "If you'd like to understand your insurance, let's sit down and go through the process to see the coverage." While the words themselves may not sound rude, his tone and attitude were very aggressive. I felt yelled at, intimidated, and honestly a bit scared, so I left immediately. My concern is purely about his behavior and attitude. The rest of the staff were very nice, I had a great experience with the optometrist and the sales who helped during checkout. However, because of this incident, I won't be returning to this location to purchase glasses. No customer should feel uncomfortable or intimidated when asking basic questions. read more

I placed an online order with LensCrafters on April 9, 2025, for two Prada frames totaling $752.10 (Order #9081529373128). I picked up the order in-store on April 16 and returned both frames on April 19 after in-store staff inspected and approved the return (Return #9081529373128). Despite following their return process exactly as instructed, I received no refund or follow-up. I finally called on May 12, and a rep named Dianne assured me I would see the refund in a couple of days (Case #250512-007613). It's now May 26--still no refund, no update, no apology. This is completely unacceptable for a company of this size. I will never purchase from LensCrafters again--not online, not in person. They've lost my trust and my business for good. read more

I have never been so poorly treated at an optometry place. I asked for a simple glasses adjustment and they tightened my glasses so much it left a painful red mark on the side of my nose. I asked them if they could readjust it and one of their workers, Ryan, was extremely rude. He blamed his inability to adjust my glasses on my "asymmetrical" nose and said that it's "impossible" to fix glasses frames from another store. He said he was "not hiding" anything from me and made a big show of adjusting the glasses in front of the whole store, even though I never accused him of anything and was politely asking for a readjustment. He then tried to push me to buy LensCrafters frames even though that's not even what I came in for. He claimed it wasn't his fault that the glasses were leaving red marks on my nose and said that's just the way glasses work. read more

I think the optometrist is wonderful Dr. Hashemian. I've had 2 eye exams from her now and I have had great experiences. She is patient with all my questions, gives great recommendations, and explains everything in way that's easy to understand. I voted 3 stars because of a few members of the staff. Whoever answers the phone always sounds like she is annoyed, answers questions before I even finish my sentence, and overall isn't pleasant to speak to. I suggest letting her go because she has gotten too comfortable in her position to the point where she doesn't care about the people who call on the phone. Secondly, why can't you email us our prescriptions when we call to ask? The portal isn't very clear and looks like they haven't changed the code since the late 90's. My prescription wasn't showing up on the site so now I have to take a significant amount of time to drive to fashion island, go to your store, ask for my prescription, have you print it out, and then drive home. That's at minimum 1 hour of my time (probably more). Instead of you taking idk 3 minutes (prob less) to maybe look up my prescription and email it to the email I have on file... thats crazy imo. Every place I've taken an eye exam has always emailed me the prescription without even asking... Won't be going back to this place until they make some changes. They seem unable to provide the appropriate prescription for lenses . Twice now two years apart I received a lenser prescription that was not upgraded to allow me to see better. And yet I paid for the eye exam and lenses( no frame purchased) to the amount of $262. Was I given lesser service because I didn't purchase frames ? I was in need of some glasses made quickly, and luckily LensCrafters was less than a mile away! I was able to walk in, work with Daniel for seamless and quick service. I took off a star for them forgetting to help me (which is okay! I understand staff was busy as everyone is trying to use their benefits before the end of the year and I was just a walk in). Yes, I was left to sit there for maybe 20-30 minutes, but once an associate realized I have yet to receive assistance, they quickly made up for it because they were super apologetic and led me to work with Daniel. He was professional, knowledgeable, and overall awesome. They didn't have the frames I originally wanted in stock, but it's all good because they had my second choice. My prescription was still on file, so once we squared away the fitting, and payment, I was done in about 20 minutes. I was warned that since it was so busy, my glasses may not be ready until the next day, but to my surprise, they were done in about 4 hours! Well, I waited and waited... 5min... 10min... looked around she was nowhere. How rude to do that to a customer. I saw another employee look at me but never approached me. Maybe they don't like how Iooked? I was a minority in this store of employees. I left and went to Sunglass Hut and got some service for my purchases. Yes, I need to purchase 6 sunglasses, so they missed out on a nice sale. I will NEVER go back to a store that treats customers sub-par. Went to 3 different places for help with my broken sunglasses. All I needed was a screw. Sunglass Hut, Oakley and Zumiez all turned me down. Finally I went to this LensCrafters and within 2 minutes I was in and out with my fixed sunglasses! The gentleman in the front (with tattoos) didn't even blink and he went back and fixed my sunglasses in less than 30 seconds.
