Bad customer service and regret giving this location another chance. They say one thing on the phone and in person it's something else. They seem bothered when you question the prices they give you and ask for more information. It's been over two weeks and I still don't have my glasses. Why Lenscrafters why?! I have been wearing glasses since 1998 and just this past year was the one time I didn't. (I absolutely regret it). However I know Lenscrafters offers free adjustments even if you did not purchase the glasses/sunglasses from them. I called and was met with hesitation but was told "Sure we can help come on in" but upon my arrival. I was told I needed to wait as if I was there to make a purchase. Something that should've taken 2 mins (MAX) took me close to 30 mins. All I needed was some lenses switched out. A simple popping out of the old lenses to the original lenses on a plastic frame. This was my first time at this location and I felt heartbroken because I've been a customer for 20 years to this establishment. None the less I will give them a second chance next year for my eye exam and future glasses. Just hope I'm met more welcoming next time around. read more

Hey Lenscrafters! It must be nice not to need business. i walked in Thursday morning with my prescription in hand ready to buy new glasses. No one said hello (even though i made eye contact with at least 3 employees). i browsed, tried on glasses for 15 minutes and not one person acknowledged me. Not a "I'll be right with you".....nothing. So, i left. My glasses usually cost $400-$500...but you won't be getting my money.....ever. read more

This review is specifically for Virginia and Dr. Pham. I had such a wonderful experience with these 2. Dr. Pham was so helpful when it came to choosing which contact lenses. She gave me a full explanation of what each brand can do for my specific issues. We ended up settling on the one-a-day kind, and they ended up being the best contact lenses I have ever used. She was very thorough and just had a great attitude the whole time. Now when it came time to pay for my contacts, it seems another one of the employees made an error when using the benefits from my insurance. This meant that I could not use those benefits to buy my contact lenses, and I was pretty upset that the employee did this. However, once I spoke to Virginia and explained everything to her she promised me she would look into it and call me back. She called me back the next day in the morning, had fixed the issue and I was able to purchase my contacts using my insurance benefits. She had great customer service skills and was extremely polite and friendly. She followed up when she said she would and I am very appreciative of that. read more

I have received decent customer service here. I appreciated the quality of care I received from Dr. Pham. The only issue I have with this place is many time so have tried to call and left messages and NEVER get a follow up call for my message. That's just bad business. Its something they really need to improve. Also they never answer their phone when you call even during business hours which I can't seem to understand. read more

I walked out from my exam because I was certain I was going to get bad service. Just walking into the store I got a bad first impression. The store was visibly dirty and old. There was hair and debris covering the chairs in the lobby. There was dirt on the floors. The equipment in the exam room was ancient. I was the second customer in the store and the first one was already complaining to the staff about the bad service she received. She was picking up brand new glasses for her daughter and they were trying to give them to her already scratched. I have double insurance coverage from the same company and was told that only one could be accepted (not true). When I asked what amounts would be covered, I was given attitude by the sales woman. No wonder this location is empty. It's dirty, old, and the employees are even upset to be working there. I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone. read more

Horrible customer service. I ordered glasses 12/15 and they told me they should be ready after Christmas. Okay. I called 12/28 and they said they are en route. Okay. I don't hear from them the rest of the week. I called 1/2 and was on hold for over 20 minutes for them to say they are ready for pick up. When I asked why I didn't receive a call the rude lady on the phone said "no idea". When I asked when they arrived she responded "no idea". So she pretty much has no idea on anything? Worse place I have ever been for an eye exam. I should have yelped this business before. Brought my son here for contacts. At initial visit they were trying to charge me for the exam when my insurance covers it. It took for me to log into my insurance account and show them. It's been way over a month and my son has yet to receive his contacts. I've called 3 times and every time their story has changed as to why it's taking long. If I had interacted with only her, I'd have given them five stars. However... The doctor there, Crystal Gibson is so horribly rude. I had to ask my niece if I had done something to offend her that I didn't realize? Nope. She's just flat out rude. Zero manners. I've been there before and the doctor I saw previously was very sweet and polite. She should take lessons from him. Or anyone on the street really. And when I told the people at the counter that I was NEVER going back there because of her, they nodded and looked at each other... they obviously had heard that before. Love this store. Everyone is friendly, AND extremely honest. Matt helped me out, provided great service and was honest in helping me choose a frame that would beat fit my prescription. Awesome service. Took his time to explain to me my options and suggested without being pushy what would be best for me, without trying to force a sale. Dr. Pham, was great also. After an eye exam she explained to me about a condition I have in my eye. And made sure she carefully and patiently explained to me what needed to be done, answering all my questions and referred me to a great specialist afterward. I will be making that call soon. Great experience here. I have good insurance was able to get a beautiful paire of progressive lens glasses ( $ 750 value) for payment of $0! Unfortunately 7 days after receiving my glasses I dropped them on asphalt and ruined the lens and frames!! The prescription did not seem correct after the week of trying to get used to them. Not only did the Dr recheck my prescription but ordered me a new pair at no cost!! I did purchase insurance after all. I am afraid I will drop them again and they will scratch. Dont bother making an appointment, it means nothing to anyone there if you have one. Being a responsible person, i arrive with sufficient time prior to my appointment. Just to fill out paperwork, same as last year, nothing has changed. But i know the drill, i fill out the paperwork. Ive waited almost 20 minutes after my appointment time. I ask how much longer, "oh you're next". I find myself waiting another 10 minutes. I asked to reschedule, i don't feel like waiting anymore. As I am now beyond irritated, the person ahead of me had an appointment for an hour ago! Either she was late and they gave her MY appointment, or they are an hour behind on their appointments. I get no apologies, no Dr will be with you soon, sorry we're running a bit behind. Nothing to address the fact that i have now waited beyond 30 from my scheduled appointment time. They lack in customer service. No further need to reschedule is needed, i wont be coming back. They are over priced and their customer service is a detractor for me. read more

Terrible customer service and handling of repairs. I went in to get my lenses replaced for my raybans as directed by Luxxotica, the rayban warranty company. Handed my sunglasses and pair of lenses to an associate and was directed to sit down. You could obviously tell he was new as he asked other members what he had to do with them. He finally took it back and then 5 minutes later, he comes back with my glasses, broken. The frame completely broken off. Only thing he told me was that the lens were a tight fit and so it broke when he tried to pop it off. And that I should follow up with rayban, and that there was nothing he could do. I followed up with the manager, Rebecca, and initially she lied and told me that I was informed of a small chip in my frame as well as lenscrafter assuming no liability, beforehand, in which case I was not. I was simply told to take a seat. All she said she could do was offer me 50% off another pair of sunglasses but didn't even have my pair of raybans in stock .. and told me I only had 7 days to redeem the offer... GREAT WAY TO SHOW CUSTOMER SERVICE.. sorry but I don't want to have to give your store money for a different pair of sunglasses after you guys broke mine. Long story; short, don't come here unless you want to deal with terrible service and workmanship as they will break your lenses and assume no responsibility for it. read more

I had just received news from my eye doctor that I had to stop wearing contacts after 30 years and I was devastated...I'Ve only worn glasses at night before bed. I was desperate to find sunglasses and went to Lens Crafters. Virginia greeted me with a friendly "hello" and listened to what I needed and wanted. The fact that she was patient with me and didn't try to up-sale me something in my moment of desperation, I was thankful. More than that, she explained to me the difference between progressive and transitional lens. She pulled out her eye-pad and showed me a diagram. Virginia was beyond informative and helpful but gentle in the process. My new sunglasses were ready in less than an hour after leaving the store. I am happy with the lenses, grateful I went polarized, I'm getting compliments on my frame and appreciate her so much! read more

This LensCrafters continues to disappoint me. No only do they refuse totaled walking but the "Doctor" is super self-absorbers, conceited and condescending. The staff made wait 30 minutes before I could even be invited to sit at a desk to simply tweak my lenses. Many other customers were seen before I was as a walk in. A few employees recognized me and asked what I needed and left me sitting in the waiting area still. The employee who looked at my glasses said there was nothing she could to to straighten them out. I tried Lenscrafters after yet again waiting over an hour for my sons doctor who always over books. Lenscrafters has better hours than an eye doctor and is much more convenient. I have been coming to this Lenscrafters now for at least five years and I keep coming back due to the convenience and the prices are no more than a private eye doctor. My main issue I have is the time it takes just to come in and pick up my sons contact lenses which, happily, they always have in stock. I do not understand why they have the printer at the back of the store. When the employee is finally done punching in a whole lot of stuff iit seems into the computer, they than have to walk to the back of the store to get the receipt. It is just one more thing that takes time. Other than that the staff is friendly, nice, and helpful. read more

This review is based on the service (excellent) and the remedy for an extremely aggravating experience ordering overpriced glasses. I've been coming here for a couple of years for insurance reasons, but I've always been pleased about the exams and how much more information you get from them about the health of your eyes and how to protect them from a deteriorating prescription. This was the first year I ordered glasses from them, since Dr. Gibson rightfully scolded me for not having a current pair. But my last pair from Costco are dang near indestructible (a plus for a glasses klutz like me), so I've been reluctant to get another pair. Long story short, it took about 2 months, 3 visits and a glasses switch to get my glasses right, but each time the staff was very accommodating and worked hard to get me frames I loved and glasses I could wear without a massive migraine. Bottom line? If insurance pays for a good portion, go ahead and do your glasses here, but otherwise, Costco Optical is a great place to get glasses. But Dr. Gibson and her staff are godsends, and are truly lovely to deal with. read more

I have been coming to this LensCrafters for years. I sincerely enjoy meeting with Dr. Gibson every single time. Our conversations, while mainly about my vision, often turn into personal conversations about home and mundane things. She genuinely is concerned about me as her patient and I trust that she does the same for others. Over the years that I have been coming to this store, I have seen many faces come and go. I can honestly say that I have never been as impressed, as I have recently been with the technicians out front. All of them deserve praise... I have interacted with them all. They are all very friendly and receptive. They follow up regarding my orders and are so readily available to answer my questions. They really do make an attempt to provide exceptional service. While waiting, I have never witnessed a less than stellar interaction and I am really surprised at some of these comments. read more

I explain why I'm there she asks for insurance Information, I look down about to revise her BOTH of my insurances and she says "well I have another patient to help too!" AS she was walking AWAY. I go to the back counter and let her know her tone was rude and I didn't appreciate her lack of patience and she responded with "what is happening right now?!" Anyway, very rude, inexperienced, young female by name of Cindy Allen. I left store, called them and asked to speak to store manager and was told Cindy IS the store manager! Omg. I was having such a crappy day & to make it worse, I sat on my glasses (purchased elsewhere). So I went to my local adjuster & she wasn't there, so my next stop was LensCrafters. I had never been here before. When I walked in, I was greeted by a lady at the front desk & after I explained my situation, I was immediately helped. Called to schedule an exam for my wife, who had an exam and got glasses at this location last year. The staff member told me that they would schedule an exam but wouldn't accept her as a new contact lens patient. I was told that was because a new contact lens exam takes an extra 5 minutes. So, this office is happy to take the money for the exam but isn't willing to spend an extra 5 minutes for contacts, which I probably would have bought there? I to LensCrafters for my annual contact lens exam and this was the first time I met with Dr. Lauren-Torres she was absolutely amazing she told me something about my contact lenses that my last three doctors had not told me that could have led to some long term I issues.
