Ordered the Lenwich on marble rye for lunch here the other day. Waited about 5-10 min which isn't bad considering it was peak lunch rush. Sandwich was made to order and came hot. I rushed back to my office to unwrap this creation and dig in. Thoughts: it's very moist, almost wet. Bread gets soggy quick. Lenwich is a chain restaurant serving inexpensive food. As far as I am concerned cheap eats is the only good thing about them. My potatoes were gross and my bacon was tasteless. Been a Lenwich lover for at least 10 years now, but it's clear at this point they are sacrificing the quality (and size / quantity) of their food to cut costs. My chicken cheddar sandwich (pictured) on a roll was shorter than a AA battery and barely weighed more than the paper it was wrapped in. You can also tell they've stopped using real chicken. This was clearly a bulk-bought frozen patty. Very disappointing to see what's happened with these guys, because I've been a longtime fan. The "chimichurri" sauce was a joke--with absolutely no garlic (a key ingredient) that I could see or taste. I put it on a plate, which was immediately covered in grease, as were my hands.
