Honestly, if I could give zero stars, I would. Locking yourself out of your house is seriously worst-case scenario, especially if you happen to leave your phone in the house as well. My neighbor helped me, looked on Yelp, this was the second place to pop up, and with four stars, it seemed okay. The "technician" as he referred to himself said he would be there in 20 minutes, and showed up in an hour. He came in an unmarked van and was wearing sweats. I was willing to look past the untimeliness and overall unprofessionalism. He gave me the quote and my jaw dropped, $170 to unlock the door. But I had no choice, so he carried on. After at least six TAKEN calls while he was supposed to be working on my door, he said the lock was "unpickable" that my door was in the ten percent of doors that can't be unlocked. So he broke my doorknob off for $170. Then told me it would be cheaper to replace it myself. After I finally got in my house. I went to Yelp to see that this is not the first time this has happened to someone who has used this company. And I will be doing my due diligence to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. read more

DO NOT USE THIS LOCKSMITH. On 12.18.2020 Leo Locksmith came to my home and programmed a new key fob for me. It cost me $340. 4 days later the key fob died. I called them 6 times over two days and each time a Rep told me a technician would call me. The last two calls the Rep said she didn't understand why I hadn't been called yet but would escalate to management. NO ONE has called me. So I have a dead key fob that cost me $340 and no one from the company attempts to fix this problem. I've had to take the key elsewhere. DO NOT use this locksmith. They gave me a faulty fob and took my money and have made NO attempt to make this right. read more

When the weather temperature dropped to 57 degree, the two locks on the security gate installed by Leo Locksmith did not work right, the deadbolt lock was too tight to turn.. the other lock did not even latch (so could not lock).. I called the company, the technician did come back. He loosened the deadbolt one, but saying the other was affected by weather, it was not in his control. Majority residences in the condo I live have the security gate with locks, so I asked him, "are you saying their locks are all not working at cold weather..." he answered "yes...". I moved here from Ohio after living there for 30 years, I never heard such problem... I wanted to ask him why locks in Ohio work in rigid cold weather.. but he never let me finish my question... So I told myself, at winter I can only use one lock, even I paid big money to replace all. Until a friend visited, he saw the gate was a little out of shape due to settlement... He used a hammer to shape the gate a little, and in 5 minutes the lock works smoothly. I truely believe expert locksmith definitely have such knowledge.. I just do not understand why Leo Locksmith did not use that knowledge to help their customer, me. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. This company is a scam. They refused to look at the photo of the lock my boyfriend needed cut off beforehand. We should have saw that as a red flag, but we figured they're the locksmith so what do we know. We were given an estimate of $69 over the phone but told it depends how difficult the job is. Again, should have seen the second red flag but we gave the guy on the phone the benefit of the doubt. We waited an hour and when the guy showed up, he used a tiny drill bit, broke it off in our lock, then said he had no time for us and had to leave. He told me boyfriend it would be $199 for him to open our lock but he had to get a different tool that he did not have time to go get so we had to pay him $29 for just driving to us. My boyfriend told him to kick rocks and the guy ran away to his car. My boyfriend spoke to another man on phone from this same business and the man apologized for the first man's unprofessionalism and said he'd come help us in 30 minutes. 35 minutes go by and my boyfriend calls this second man and after a round of phone tag and another 30 minutes later, the man says he didn't charge the tool he needs and it'd be another hour... 3 hours later and we're still locked out... DO NOT GIVE IN TO THE GOOD REVIEWS for this business. They must have gotten really lucky or did not care if they were being hustled. We called another locksmith in morning after staying in a hotel overnight and the man on the phone said and I quote, "Leo's is a scam. Every professional locksmith in this area knows that." Minus 2 stars - I was quoted over the phone a price of $70.00 to unlock my car. The tech said it could be more depending on the labor involved. After 30 minutes, the tech arrived and told me it would be $188.00 to unlock the car. I was wet and cold because I had been at the beach and it was getting dark, so I didn't want to have to borrow another phone and wait for another locksmith. The technician, agreed to a charge of $150.00 after getting a "text authorization" to do so. It took him less than 60 seconds to open the door. The next day I spoke to the owner who identified himself as "Leo" (not his real name as I learned by checking his business license information) and requested a refund of $80.00, to get the cost back to the phone quote. I explained that I felt he was price gouging. My choice was to pay his inflated price or find and borrow another phone during this COVID-19 pandemic and wait in the cold as darkness fell for another, hopefully reputable locksmith. He refunded $50.00 to me which means he still charged $30.00 more than the base price quoted for a 60 second job. More importantly, this is apparently standard practice of this company according to other reviews I have read. This taking advantage of people in emergency situations is dishonorable and I believe against the law. read more

They completely took advantage of her because she's young and a female. They charged her $225.00 to open her car door. I have read on here where they charge others $49.00. I've called over 4 days straight because situation has not been rectified and spoke with an Adrian, Carlos and Rolando whom all told me that Dob whom is the owner would contact me. I get a call playing the part of a manager tells me I have the wrong company because they would never charge that much. Then I get a call from Jake after my 8th call and he apologized and tells me that the reason my daughter was charged 225 Because they charge An extra 100 dollars to get on the military base and an additional amount on top of that because it was at 6 am. But yet this business states there open 24hours. He then tells me he would reimburse my daughter a portion of the fees and failed to call me back. So I text him as he instructed me to and now he's acting like he has no clue what's going on. I wouldn't recommend this company at all. I will be filing a claim against this company. This is the worst and most unprofessional service of my life. I locked my keys at the gas station and found them on yelp because they were rated so high. I called them and was told $80 over the phone after I was transferred to the mechanic. I declined their offer and hung up. After I got a call from a different number and it was one of their other mechanics and he gave me a better quote. He told me $20 fee for coming and $35 for the labor. I accepted and proceeded. After it was time to pay he told me I owe them $109. I tried to say no but felt so threaten even though I was in public. Before finalizing my order he told me he would cut $20 off for good yelp review. He basically wrote the review because he stood over my shoulder and kept typing for me. The whole thing left me feeling so bad. The labor took him less than 5 minutes. Worst service ever. Mechanic that served me is called gio. read more
