One of my irritations with many mechanics is they are slow to communicate or at worst, simply don't communicate. Leonardi breaks that mold, they keep you in the loop and never sound like they are hiding anything or like they don't want to speak with you. It's refreshing. Their labor rates are reasonable especially when you consider the quality of work, they communicate, and deliver on time! That's hard to beat. Renan was kind enough to run down the street to grab a part to help finish the recent repair on my son's car. He did that because he looked for the part prior to calling to let us know what was happening. That to me is great service. I just got work done on my 08 Nismo. Had pretty extensive suspension work, differential bushings, transmission mount, and the dreaded gallery gasket. I called Sergio & Renan over the phone, introduced myself as I just had moved to FL from Connecticut and was looking for a shop to service my newly acquired 2009 Infiniti G37 Sport Coupe 6MT. I arrived on a Saturday after calling ahead, and Renan immediately took my car for a test drive (I had asked he go over the car after I had just recently purchased it) and then threw it up on the lift and gave it a once over, without even being asked! We diagnosed a few issues, and I've stayed in touch since the visit. I have booked a follow up appointment for February 1st to take care of one of the issues, and he is my definitely go-to for my Infiniti G37. He is also an avid racer as well, and I will be setting my car up in similar fashion to his 350z to survive as a daily driver and a track monster a couple of times a year. I live in coconut creek and usually get my oil change done at tire kingdom or tire plus etc. I didn't need a oil change today but needed refll my water tank to use the wiper for my car so decided to go to nearby auto shop. Sergio came out and showed me how to put in the water and what to use, even told me I can get it from Walmart etc. Usually some mechanics won't tell you that info so they can get more business. He helped me with other stuff and was really kind and professional. Overall, I was surprised and satisfied with the customer service whether big or small problems. EXTREMELY HONEST! Dropped my JGC because my lifters were making a loud noise. Couple of days later, got a call from Sergio saying that the lifters and other parts needed to be replaced. To my surprise he told me that although my warranty was expired, he did some research and found out that the factory was taking care of this issue at no cost. very upset, my car stopped and I could not start it, they recommended this place to me and I sent my car on a tow truck, they checked it and they told me that it was the timing chain which they had to open the engine and the most advisable thing was to change the engine for a new or used one, around $ 6000, I decided not to do it and take it to my garage.... I called a mechanic to check it in my garage and what I needed to change was the air conditioning compressor, the engine is in perfect condition and I only paid $ 250. be very careful !! don't let them fool you!! read more
