Slice and pint of Fiddleheads $5.99! Love this place. Stromboli was huge and came out quick from the kitchen. Will come back for sure.

Excellent food, friendly service & for me as a gluten free vegetarian i can say without question that they've nailed it! My husband had a meaty Stromboli which he said was really tasty as well. Also the walls are covered in the most amazing photos of rock and roll musicians evidently taken by a friend of the owners, but don't quote me on that one. And the town has a small town Vermont vibe which is very welcoming & progressive. Stop in you won't be disappointed

    Jonny Rocker/Meat Your Maker pizza

We love Rockers Pizza which is a huge compliment from a couple that lives outside of NYC. We stop here regularly on Friday nights when we come to VT for weekends. We share a medium Jonny Rocker/Meat your Maker. I get a Shackleburys cider and my husband gets one of the local craft beers on tap. Decor is very sparse but love that the tables are not jammed in like in our home town. I enjoy the Rock and Roll decor. Give it a try!

    Hard Tenders

just nowNEW The pizza is really tasty. The crust is not too thick, but just perfect. The large pizza is enough to feed a family. The tenders and fries are not consistently cooked. They were hard. They vary from day to day. I will stick to the pizza. This seems to always be consistent on a daily basis.

Green Mountain sandwich. Turkey, bacon, apples, cheese.

Very friendly service that had us sipping on locally sourced craft beer right away. Very reasonably priced flight which had a pilsner, a pale, an IPA and a stout on nitro. All were solid. The place smelled so incredible since a large tray of smoked wings were fresh out of the smoker, so we had to order up those, along with their fantastic onion rings. Not sure about the one review saying the wings tasted like rubber, but they must not enjoy smoked style wings. There were piping hot, and practically fell right off the bone when you ate them. A nice hint of some sweet spice in the dry rub that I could not identify, but they were some of the best wings I have eaten, so take that for what it is. We both absolutely loved them. I ordered the house salad and it was a monster for under $7. Loaded with cucumbers, tomatoes, radishes, arugula and other greens. Split a pizza (Green Street, loaded with Basil pesto, roasted fennel, pickled fennel, mushrooms, baby arugula, toasted pine nuts, local mozzarella, Grana Padano & balsamic reduction). Ordered only 1/2 mushroom for my picky friend, and they happily obliged. We brought some of the salad and pizza home with us, as the portions were gigantic. A great first visit to Hired Hands. We'll be back.

The Internet tells me it's been in the "new" location since 2019. =) We left the mountain early on a day when ski conditions were pretty bad even on the way-out trails that sometimes have some powder on them even when nothing else does. We're lucky to have a lot of good ski days in our year and didn't feel obligated to ski in such awful conditions. Ordered a large pizza for pickup in 20 minutes around lunch time and were told that the place gets slammed around this time of day, at this time of year. After puttering about Sugarbush Village for a bit we realized we were in the wrong place and drove to the "new" location at almost exactly the 20 minute marker for pickup. The pizza was just as we fondly remembered: a great balance of oregano-forward sauce and not-overly-high-brow mozzarella, and a generous amount of pepperoni / toppings on a slightly more cracker-like crust than NYC-style pizzas. My family of pizza snobs likes, but does not rave about, this place.

The Tillerman is located about 5 minutes from downtown Bristol. The restaurant is inside an inn that is popular for their outdoor weddings. +++. Ambiance is idillic Vermont farm inn.
