Deep dish or detroit style? Fine for Detroit, but dont think itnqualifies as deep dish.
    Chris C.

Was decent, but should have ordered something fresh, not pizza out of the case. Advertised as deep dish, but you can see from my photo it was clearly all crust, so Detroit style. My least favorite. Also ordered a "pistachio filled pastry" which was just a pistachio flavored cookie. Nothing was bad, but nothing was "as advertised" or good enough to overcome the dissapointment.

    Eggplant Parmesan special..

Been back in town for a while now and it's our first time here.. kicking myself for not coming sooner.. I had the Eggplant Parmesan special today.. outstanding.. woodfired pizza was amazing as well.. highly highly recommended.. the only thing better than the food was the service...

Ham and pepperoni, pepperoni and beef

Hole in the wall amazing! Fresh homemade pizza, quality ingredients, great service, and homemade gelato. The chef is from italy, and the flour is imported. Got the diavalo, and two custom pizzas with pepperoni. Diavalo could have been spicier, and needed peppers. Make sure you call ahead for mortadella... they were out when i went. And that's my main reason for going... SAD.

Decent pizza, staff was friendly and welcoming, and I loved how thin the crust was as I'm not a fan of thick crust where one is eating all bread vs ingredients.

My mom and I consider ourselves pizza connoisseurs (hee hee) as we eat a lot of it. But the Mortazza pizza at Leo's Cafe Italia is possibly the best pizza on planet Earth. It is certainly the best pizza we've ever tasted. The combination of flavors on a flawless wood fired dough: just heaven in your mouth. That first bite will release so many endorphins, you will immediately be transported to a zen like state. So give it a try. Experience culinary nirvana for yourself!

Got a large single topping pizza. It was tasty, but a little sparse on topping, even with extra cheese ordered, esp for the price.

My husband ordered the sandwich to go, they both were delicious! I can't wait to go back and and dine in. We love real Italian food.

Great little cafe to get healthy meals. They were out of the cinnamon rolls by the time we rolled…read morein- 11am ish. We had a lovely brunch though. The bagels were very different from any we have had before, had a very home baked bread taste. The sweet potato bowl was very flavorful and hit just the right note for lunch. We did get a couple baked goods to go as well. The coffee was pretty good, they have tons of flavors to choose from and make some signature drinks too. The staff is very friendly and will give excellent recommendation. The decor is rustic cute. Worth a visit!!!

What's the difference between a sloth and a barista at La Dolce Vita Bakery?…read more Beats me. For a busy coffee house? 10 minutes from order is the norm for a place with its act together. 15 minutes? Newbie time. 25 minutes? Def ownership understaffing. 32 minutes, from order? I've been here before. Tourist. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Once upon a time? They had a good enough selection of decent pastries, in the case. Today? Sparse, like the Sahara of Sweet. A couple of very unappetizing cookies. No croissant. No cinnamon rolls. Ehhhhh. Dolce expanded their cafe menu. Likewise it, too, is slothmade and slothserved. With success comes a certain level of complacency. Even arrogance. $30, for your t-shirt? Baker, please. This has been a destination spot, for tourists. Competition, with the level around them, should provide incentive to get their act together. Kind of sad.
